The cleanser was not my taste. It was a deep exfoliant and could only be used 3-4 times a week. I personally used it about 3 times, however it made my skin break out a lot more. It dried my skin out a fair bit and my skin isn't very oily. It could work for others but for my skin it did not wrk out too well

St. Ives Blemish Control Scrub Review
A delicious scrub that smells of fuzzy apricots & helps reduce breakouts before they even occur. Made with 100% natural exfoliants (like crushed walnut shell powder) for a gentle, deep cleanse.

This face scrub is my fave this scrub isn't to harsh on the skin it's really good for dry skin it smells nice and the texture is nice I wouldn't recommend useing it every day ad it might irritate the skin I would use it one or twice a week it's a great product and I would recommend to others
This smells just as yummy as when I was a teenager and used to buy St Ives in the single sachets to have "home spas" with my friends! Same yummy smell, same great result. My skin was so soft and smooth afterwards and it felt so clean!
Tips: It is so much easier to gently wipe off with a wet cloth than it is to try and just rinse it off!!!
Being quite a fan of the original St.Ives apricot scrub, I was eager to give this new version a go and see how it compared.
First impressions, it's A LOT like the original, so much so that it seemed just the same; Very similar packaging, the same natural apricot scent, the same thick, beige colored densely textured cream..
I did notice one difference though bewteen this new version of the apricot scrub and the original, this one seems to be finer and gentler.
This scrub is very grainy, it's one of the grainiest facial scrubs that i've ever used (along with the orignal version), you would think that it'd be quite rough on the skin, but despite it's coarse texture it's surprisingly gentle on the skin.
It does a great job of cleaning the skin deeply, thoroughly washing away a full face of makeup, and leaves my face feeling extremely, exceptionally & incredibly soft and smooth.
The softness & smoothness that you get with this scrub, I would compare it to that of a micro-dermabrasion treatment -level amazing.
As this scrub provides that intense re-surfacing effect, i'd confifently say that it'd be very helpful in reducing break-outs and blemishes, so as it claims. Also, it's affordibly priced, readily available from the local supermaket, and will go for miles. It's a big win for me!
Omg my skin it feels amazing ! I even got my partner to use it and he loves it to not only does our skin look and feel better it's got an amazing smell that makes u want to use the whole thing all at once will so buy again
Tips: Get your partner to try also share it make everyone fall in love with it
I was super happy to be selected for the review team for this, and now Ive discovered a product that I will keep purchasing - The St Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub. The packaging is fairly attractive. I particularily liked the scent of the product, although it certainley doesnt smell like any Apricot I have ever smelled. Application is easy - just a small quirt onto the hand - no pumps, just squeeze the tube. The product itself is creamy, with small beads of what I assume to be Apricot Shell/Walnut shell. I tried it both in the shower, and in the basin. Perfect for use in the shower, a little trickier when rinsing your face in the basin as its hard to get rid of all the little bits of kernel. It goes on very easily, is pleasant feeling to scrub with (even though it is a deep scrub, its isnt painful on the skin), and washes away leaving your face feeling clean, but not dried out. Does it do what it says? Hard to know. Generally my skin is feeling cleaner and lighter, and possibly a little "glowier" than it did before I started using it, although it has only been a week or so. Certainly I intend to keep using it.
Tips: Easier to use in the shower than in the sink.
I enjoyed using this Scrub in the shower on my face when i got out and dried my face it made my face really smooth and it smelt really good too. I would use this product again and i would get my friends to use it too :)

I love this product! I have been using it for a few years and it really helps with breakouts and preventing future ones. The pack size lasts ages and a small amount goes a long way. Its gentle enough to use daily or 3 times a week. The sandy / gritty bits leave your skin feeling smooth/ clean and refreshed and the smell is apricoty and smells so clean. I normally pick this up for between $8-$10 at Pak N Save.
Tips: A small amount goes a long way. I start with my face then drag any excess to the neck area
I am very happy with this product! I started using it once I got back from a camping trip - my skin had broken out so badly!! The product has a thick and grainy texture. I did not find it harsh on my skin at all. I have had no irritation since using this product. The application is really easy and it does a great job of cleaning my skin as it is a deep exfoliation scrub. You don't need a lot of product as it spreads well. I find it handy because you can really feel where you are exfoliating; you can feel it working and it feels rather nice on your skin when exfoliating it in. The product has a yummy apricot scent! I use it every second day and I have had such great results! Within just a few days my breakouts had cleared up and my skin was in much better condition. It leaves me with soft and smooth skin. I thought it would be rough on my skin due to the nutty texture but I don't think it is. I like the packaging. I like how it has kept the original St. Ives packaging, and the brand and product are easy to recognize. I love that it is paraben and sulfate free with natural exfoliants. I love that it is non-comedogenic so I do not get blocked pores from the product as it deeply cleans pores! It is hypoallergenic so it is unlikely to cause an allergic reaction, and it has been dermatologist tested. It is a really affordable product, does wonders for my skin, easy to locate at a supermarket and a decently sized product for the price; so I will definitely be repurchasing.
Tips: I prefer to use it in the shower as it is much easier to wash all of the product off in the shower compared to over the sink. A little goes far and be gentle when rubbing it into your skin.
