Lush Fun Review

This lush fun is perfect for all ages and such a versatile product. I've got pink fun which smells like the rockstar soap, Christmas fun and Santa fun.

These come in clear plastic tubs with screw top lids. I pinch a piece from the block and start moulding different shapes the texture is like a cross between a playdoh and clay it's quite therapeutic playing with it, it's also great for kids.

I have used this as a body wash and a bubble bar it says it can be used as a shampoo but I'm scared I will get chunks of it in my hair and won't get it all out.

After I have made a masterpiece- tehe yeah right more like a blob, I hold it under running water and watch as mountains of foamy bubbles form. I was skeptical at first I really didn't think It was going to make many bubbles but boy I was surprised. It also leaves the bathroom air filled with the scent.

When used as a soap/body wash I pinch a piece from the tub and rub it over my bod it's quite chalky and almost stubborn to get off (hence the reason why I won't use it in my hair) it does lather up a lot which I LOVE I love bubbles and lots of lather! It also leaves your skin scented for ages afterwards.

This is also a great product for the wee ones in your life. I love watching my kidlets make their creations and have fun with them in the bath seriously there is no encouragement needed to get them into the bath when the fun is out!

This is a great product and FUN for all ages, with a range of uses what's not to love?

I have almost the whole array of 'Fun' colours available (missing yellow and green I think)

Blue is strong fresh lavender scent Pink is powdery Candy scented, so sweet and talc like Red is Mandarin scent and is nice even if you aren't a huge citrus fan Snow man is black, white and orange accent with fruity (fresh juice kind of) scent Magic of Christmas is a spicy fennel scent but full of glitter and different shades to work with including blue, red, gold (all glittered) and white (non sparkle)

Whist it is a playdoh type format you can make a lot of cool things or shapes and then the kids are more than happy to hop in to their bath. We use it as a bubble bath product as I find the kids skin dries out when used directly on their delicate bodies regularly. It can be used as a shampoo and I have tried it a couple of times on my son... it does a decent job but not something I'd used continually. My daughters hair wouldn't fair well as it is so long and fine... liquid shampoo all the way for her.

The bubbles made when used in a bath are on par with those of regular Lush bubble bars but of course the kids make the shapes they want and it dissolves just as readily into the water. I usually leave a wee bit for them to use as a soap but they prefer their bubble baths.

If left out for prolonged periods of time the white colour of the kit Funs will start to melt/dissolve as friends I'd gifted some too found out.

I have pink FUN and it came in a Lush Christmas Gift Pack I was either given or got in the boxing day sale. I have to admit from the beginning I kinda don't get the point if it. In the shower it's just a bit of a pain and is not the easiest to wash yourself with. As suggested I break a bit off and use it but it's a bit of a pain. I haven't used it in the bath but it would probably work much better in the bath. My three year old loves it and asks for "shower playdoh" when he's in the shower now. Since he enjoys it I'm leaving it for him and next time he wants a bath instead of a shower I'll give it a go in there.

I'm currently using a tub of pink fun. I haven't really tried anything else except for a brief disaster with some red fun, (I took it out of the tub to use in a soap dish as I though it would be fun. Nope, once the water touched it, it melted everywhere! It smelled so delicious and fruity though and luckily I have one more tub of it to use at a later stage!). Fun comes in little screw top clear containers, it does say one the packaging to keep it in the container when you're done, maybe I need to learn how to read! Anyway, it also has very clear best before dates and who made it plus when you get 5 empty pots, you can take them back to lush for a free face masque.

Pink fun smells so good. This scent is made for me. It is very sweet and candy scented. This reminds me quite a bit of snow fairy so if you love that, then I think you would love this. The smell is very strong and leaves my bathroom smelling so good after and me too.

The texture of this is very unique from any other soap product I've ever used. It is squishy and mouldable. Just like dough. I personally don't bother making shapes with it, but I could see this being such a cool product for a child.

To use this, I just pull off a small chunk and rub it onto a shower puff. It does take a little more effort than shower gel to use but you do get an amazing lather and scent from it, so I think it's worth it.

I got all my fun tubs from the boxing day sale but they hadn't really appealed to me to use. After actually using it though, I love it. I'll definitely be looking out for some more scents. The monsters and aliens one appeals to me so I might buy that one next. They seem to have a lot of different scents available, so if super sweet isn't your thing, then there might be a different colour better suited to your tastes.

So mine is pink and smells sweet. It's expired but fine. I just grab a piece and use it like a soap. It's a squishy one I think my kids would love playing with something like this to paint the bath and themselves but miss 4 has ezemea and miss 7 is sensitive to smells. A little would be okay but I mainly use it for myself the scent is comforting in winter and sometimes I've caught wiffs of it on my clothes or skin hours afterwards. Mines not as dry now from splashes in the shower and wet hands but that's fine it's better than crumbling everywhere or ending up on the ground. It's like a mouldable ball of soap. Lush shop closed here in Palmerston North so it's a bit of a Lucy item

I got this because it looked interesting and BLUE! I had heard so much about the fun from Lush so had to give a go myself. I bought Fun in red and pink also so I could get a fair idea about whether I loved them or not.

I actually really like the clear container Fun comes in. It is more standout-ish than the normal black containers they have. I love the fact that I can reuse these because they have a screw top lid. I put my sons bits and pieces in it from his various toy sets.

The consistency is much like playdough and breaks off easily to use. I crumble mine in to the bath or use it in my sons hair. He loves Fun more than I do because of how you can play with it and the colour obviously. It created foamy bubbles everywhere and makes for a heavenly bath.

I actually don't really love Fun it's messy and after getting small amounts of water in it each time it melts away and leaves a slimy mess. My son thinks this is amazing fun though. For me it's just mess and hassle.

I prefer my bath bombs and bubble bars personally. I think this is more suitable for children who dislike bath time. It gives them something to play with and something to bath in with the flubbles it creates. As for the falling asleep due to the lavender, it actually works well for my son. It has great calming qualities about it so that's a plus as well as getting my boy to bed easily.

I understand the name Fun because it is loads of fun with multiple purposes.

I received Pink fun (one of my fave Lush products) and Red fun in gift packs from Lush over the boxing day sale.

I wasn't 100% sure what these products were but once I did a google and a you tube swatch I soon found out!

My daughter regularly has baths over a shower and as any toddler does she asked for bubbles!

Grabbing the Pink fun, a Vanilla and Tonka scent, just like Candy and the Red fun A fruity tangerine scent I placed a teaspoon of each in the sive and placed it under the running water.

Amazing fluffy bubbles formed and one excited little toddler squealed ( and I was dancing on the inside because who doesn't love lush?) The bath water turned a pink red from the product which made my daughter even more excited. The scent that came from the bath was just amazing! After my little one had a bath i could smell her for hours after wards.

Not only do we use these products for a bubble bath my daughter likes to use it as a play dough while she's in the bath. She's not all too artistic and 90% of the time it ends up a smeared mess on the side of the bath but she has a real go and keeps her entertained for the times she's having a play after she has washed.

The pink fun and red fun I got were only in 100g pottles so haven't lasted long. $12.50 for 200g is definitely worth it. I even purchased the pink fun for my Mum because she loved it just as much as myself and my toddler does :)

I can't wait to try the rest out and re purchase the red and pink fun again.

The cute pink fun inside the Snow Fairy Christmas box at Christmas. The gorgeous box –wrapped in pink paper and tied with a pretty ribbon, was a treat by itself! I also got the gorgeous red fun which came inside the Lush Santas belly at Christmas.

They each come in a cute 100g pottle with screw lid, which makes for safe storage.

The pink is a soft pink, looks like silly putty, and smells like a soft pink perfume! And the smell is quite strong, which I absolutely love in a bath product. I tore off a piece each time I had a bath and let it dissolve. The water changed colour from clear to pink and the smell went everywhere. The bath went quite soft, and the smell – delicious! It lasts on the skin and in the bathroom for a wee while afterwards – yummy...

The red fun is dark pink, looks like silly putty, and smells absolutely DIVINE! And the smell is very strong, which I love in a bath product. I didn’t try making shapes with it (what with being an adult – well mostly). I put it in pieces in the bath. The water changed colour to dark pink - cooool. It didn’t do anything to the feel of my skin, but the smell – oh wow, fabulous, (I LOVE mandarin) and lasts on the skin for ages after getting dried.

I highly recommend these lovely, sensuous products to everyone, as they are just divine 

During Boxing day sale I got a couple of gift boxes and in them was two tubs of fun. Never knew what this was quite puzzled at first . Thankfully on the back of this pot is its uses and how to be used. Lush is known for being vegan which I love. There's so many more products I would love to explore from Lush.

This comes in a 100 gram tub. It has the Lush labelling on the front. All Lush products have expiry dates clearly written on them. I like this because it gives me an idea of how long I could use this for. I wish more product brands would have dates clearly written like this. Just looking at this it looks like a ball of play dough. Feels soft and smooth to touch like dough but has a slightly dry finish to it. I have Pink fun which reminds me of rose petals soaked in sweet candy. I have Red fun also which is vibrant with orange and mandarin oils which awakens my senses and makes me feel awake and alert.

These pots of fun can be modelled and shaped into figures , you can really use your imagination with these. I have taken a pinch of this and placed it on my shower puff and it foamed up nicely. There's many uses for this can be used in baths, hair and body, clothing. Its a great multitasking product.

I'm moving house and hoping to get one with a bath so I can get these out and create some fun figures. So far I've had about five pinches and there's still plenty product left in my tubs. I think I have another 20 odd uses if I was to keep pinching pieces off. Funs great for the family. Priced affordabily and I would definitely buy a great product like this again.

I tried Lush's Fun as I heard it was really multi-purpose so I was keen to see what it would do.

So you can use it like a bubble bar to make bubbles in your bath. You can use it as soap, you can use it as shampoo. You can also use it like play doh.

Well I certainly agree Fun is versatile. With a crumbly play doh like consistancy, it made an easy to crumble bubble bar and produced better bubbles that I was expecting.

It also worked as a soap but I prefer using a conventional soap.

As a shampoo I wouldn't use it, but for a grumpy reluctant kid it may be how you get their hair washed.

As far as making shapes goes I have zero creativity to even attempt that.

Packaging wise the clear container this product comes in is great because you can see what you have left and is also a useful storage container.

It was fun to try but I don't know if I'd personally use it again. But I think its a great product if you want an all in one product or have bath adverse children.
