Alpine Silk Lanolin Everyday Moisture Crème Reviews

I love this product! I was very excited to be able to review this homegrown cream. The packaging is really cute with the little sheep on the front. I would totally buy this as a gift for my overseas.friends. It actually feels like silk, the consistency is really rich and creamy and has that gorgeous floral, lanolin smell. The product absorbs really quickly and to my surprise isn't oily which a lot of lanolin products tend to leave my skin feeling. Overall I am really impressed. This wouldn't have been a product that wouldn't have jumped out at me but now having tried it, I think it will be a regular in my vanity cupboard.

Like the hand cream this smells lovely. Its a fresh, light scent, nothing overwhelming.

The moisture creme is really thick - its enriched with lanolin and collagen and so is really hydrating and caring. BUT I wouldn't use this on my face, its almost like a cold cream, which is too thick for my facial skin.

But as a body creme its wonderful. Especially on those areas like knees and elbows that are prone to dryness.

I've been using this once a day at night and when I wake in the morning my skin is still lovely and soft!

I wish it were paraffin free, but the results mean I'll continue using and look to repurchase!

This comes in a simple plastic jar with a protective cover underneath the lid. I'm loving the fragrance that this (and the matching handcream) has, it's so fresh and flowery I just can't get enough of it.

This is quite a thick face cream, the type that keeps its form when you scoop some up with your finger. But surprisingly it didn't feel heavy when I applied it to my face. It felt nice and cool, and rubbed in easily. The only mild concern I have is that my face felt a bit tingly afterwards. I've very sensitive skin so I'm not sure if I have a bit of a reaction to it. I didn't break out or get a rash but I was a little wary after that. Now I've been using it as a neck cream for a couple days, and I think it's perfect for that purpose. I always neglect my neck and this filled the gap in my skincare routine. It does a great job at making my skin soft and smooth, and immediately after apply it my neck looks visibly more supple.

I'm not sure if the tingling was just my skin throwing a fit, but I would suggest patch testing if you also have super sensitive skin. However it's great for all those who are blessed with 'nonsensitive' skin and it works amazingly as a neck cream. The jar says that you can use it all over your body but this is so nice I feel like I'd be wasting it as a body lotion. Overall this range has left a great impression and even better it's from Christchurch!

I was so lucky to be invited to trial this product, thank you BR! This product came just in time to save my dry winter skin! It was a thicker consistency than I was expecting but it is non greasy and absorbed quickly into my skin, leaving it looking and feeling soft. After a couple of days of use my face was no longer dry, and has stayed the way since. The directions say to use the product on your face, neck and body, and while it works fine as a body creme I've mainly just been using it on my face to make it last longer. The scent is pleasant and non-offensive, and fades once it's applied which is great. The packaging is a screw lid container which I like as it means there isn't any wastage like you get with a pump bottle. One thing about this product that I'm not particularly fond of is the photo of a sheep on the container, because it's not exactly what I want to see on my beauty products on my counter, however this isn't enough to deter me from purchasing this product when it runs out. Highly recommend for dry skin!!!

Wow! I received a free trial of this and was blown away. To be honest, its not something I would have otherwise picked up.

The packaging is really beautiful. It would make a great gift paired with the hand creme if you could bear to give it away (definitely buy some for yourself at the same time!).

The creme comes in a short tub so is easy to scoop out. The creme has a pleasant mild smell that dissipates after application. The creme is a thick creamy texture and applies easily. I used it as a night cream.

I cleansed and applied the creme before bed. In the morning, I was looking at the mirror in awe at how smooth my skin looked after one application.

The creme has provided the nourishment my skin needed as it has been extra dry over winter. My skin is prone to breakouts and I haven't had any issues with this creme.

This is nice as a body moisturizer and is not sticky and absorbs well into the body. I like the size and style of the container and this will be great for travelling or for the gym bag. I was very worried about using this on my face as I have sensitive, acne prone skin - however I had no issues! I've used it once a day for about 5-6 days now after my usual serum and not had any adverse affects. Much like the hand cream I am not a fan of the fragrance of this - I find it too "chemically". Overall if you are on a budget, or simply not a fan of spending money on cosmetics - this is a cheap and cheerful all-rounder.

I had the collagen cream, and saw really nice results to my skin within a few days. My face especially is noticeably smoother and softer :) I apply morning and night. I also put a bit on my 3 year old because he gets little eczema rashes on his body and eyelids and it has helped in an amazing way by minimizing the size of the rash. So will definitely keep using it. The cream is quite thick In the container similar to body butter but doesn't feel like it when you apply it which is good because I'm not a fan of body butter haha

This cream is great. I have severe dry skin, in the cold par of nz I live in its particularly bad at this time of year. So far I have used this cream morning and night for 5 days and have no dry patches on my face where last week I had dry around hair line and nose. It is quite a light cream compared to what I would normally go for but holds alot of moisture, it goes on smoothly and I love that it's in a jar not a tube so easy to get every last bit. You only need a little amount to do whole face so value for money I think is good. It has a light fragrance which I usually dont like but I find once it's on the skin I cannot smell it. I would say appearance wise it may not be the most appealing packaging on the market (not that eye catching or modern) but once you try it would buy again.

I received this as part of a trial team and was at first surprised by the size of the tub. I thought this was a body creme and expected a much bigger tub. However, this is also meant to be a face moisturiser and the package size reflects this. I tried it for both face and body and for me it was too rich as a face creme. I enjoyed using it as body moisturiser, with its nice thick texture and pleasant smell. I had not used a product with lanolin before, but I would definitely use one again now that I have tried this. I was a bit worried about the smell, given the sheep on the picture, but the smell of this creme is very subtle and nice. I did not enjoy this creme as much as the matching hand and nail creme, but I would definitely buy it as gift/souvenir for friends and family overseas.

I had zero expectations about this product, just because I’d never heard of or seen it before. I have been so pleasantly surprised with how good it is! I’ve only used it on my face, as I didn’t want to waste it, and it’s moisturising without being oily and lasts all day. Without a lie, possibly the best face moisturiser I’ve ever tried.
