Garnier Skin Active Hyaluronic Aloe Gel-Wash

I quite liked this. Trying to decide if i'll swap it for my usual face wash! Has a lovely smell, reminds me of the ocean - and I hate going to the beach! Makes my face feel really smooth afterwards, not dry or greasy. Maybe a small reduction in my pore size but hard to tell.

I used the Garnier Skin Active Hyaluronic Aloe Gel-Wash in combination with the replumping serum, Day Jelly Moisturiser and Night Jelly Moisturiser. I have noticed such a difference in the appearance and feel of my skin - I have been using all 4 products for approximately 1.5 weeks. In this time, I have not had any breakouts, any sign of dry skin or irritation. I have psoriasis so this is a massive win for me. I used this product first thing in the morning and just before bed. I lightly splashed water on my face and then used a light pump of the gel. This product is clear and has a light scent. It is easy to lather and easy to apply. After a quick massage into skin, I then washed the product off, pat dried my face/neck and moved on to step 2 being the serum. I am so happy with this product that I have since purchased a replacement for when this runs out. The product is usually around $16.00 for 200ml however I managed to pick up at countdown as they had an introductory offer of half price.

Overall I found it to be a very gentle face wash - It is perfect for my skin type (being sensitive) as has a soothing but gentle feel to it. My skin feels soft and looks fresh and light. You don't need to use a lot of this as it is quite generous and goes a long way. I am also prone to blackheads. After using this for 1.5 weeks I have noticed that the pores appear smaller and less visible. I will add that I am a light make up wearer and this cleaned my skin well - I am not sure how this would go for someone who wears a lot of makeup.

This stuff is great, it’s a very gentle cleanser and it’s definitely done what it says it should for my skin. It didn’t dry my face out and has a pleasant smell which I really like. I love the practicality of using a pump and seeing how much you’re using.

I like the smell of this product, a clean botanical smell, very pleasant. A little goes a long way, I found it lathered up very well. It made my skin feel a bit dry after using, and didnt really blow me away. But it’s a good basic cleanser, and because you only need a little amount of product it makes it good value.

Great product. Love using it in the shower. Pleasant consistency, easy to wash off. Skin feels smooth and clean after application.

I was so excited to try Garnier Skin Active Hyaluronic Aloe Gel-Wash! Any product that is made with 97% natural origin ingredients and removes impurities and makeup without stripping skin has to be great. Thankfully I found that this gel wash really did cleanse my skin well while being gentle and leaving my skin feeling fresh.

I really liked the design of the bottle, the blue colour is very attractive and the pump applicator makes it very easy to get the correct quantity needed and use it without creating lots of mess. The smell is not overwhelming and quite pleasant.

I was initially a little worried that this gel wash would be too harsh and would leave that horrible stretched feeling however my skin felt clean and healthy after using it. I found that the gel wash was also very good at removing my make-up. It bubbles up quickly which adds to the clean feel.

Overall this is a great gel wash that will efficiently cleanse and remove makeup and impurities, without stripping the skin of its natural moisture barrier, leaving it clean and fresh. If you are looking for a reasonably priced cleanser that is suitable for all skin types then this a cleanser that I would recommend you try.

The gel wash has been one of my favourite face washes that I have used in a long time. I love the way it felt when being massaged into my face, it really feels like it's getting in there and cleaning the skin. The refreshing smell is great, and the aloe also had a calming / spa facial feeling to it. My skin felt nice and clean as well as soft after use. I am going to continue using this as I love it so much. Highly recommended.

First impressions of the Garnier Skin Active Hyaluronic Aloe Gel Wash was how easy it was to pump out, the gel had a nice consistency (not too thick or thin) and it had a pleasant Aloe fragrance that didn’t linger.

I’ve been interested in trying a hyaluronic cleanser for a while and was thrilled to be part of the trial team for this range. This cleanser was easy to incorporate into my skin routine, and I swapped out my regular face wash while trialling this gel wash. It’s worked so well for me, that I have thrown out my existing face wash and plan to continue using this one.

My skin is typically very oily and sensitive, so any skin products that are too harsh don’t work well for me, but I still need a face wash that will cleanse my skin effectively. This face wash worked really well for me, it’s not drying or too harsh and within a few days of using I noticed a big change. I had some stubborn spots on my chin and side of my mouth that started to clear up, and within 2 weeks my skin was the clearest it has been in a very long time. As the gel wash is so hydrating, I also noticed the dry patches around my nose cleared up and my skin doesn’t flake around there anymore. After using this everyday for the past month, I have seen a very positive difference in the texture and appearance of my skin.

I also like that this product is cruelty free and has no animal derived ingredients, and that I can feel good about using it.

Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to switch up their routine and try a new face wash.

This is amazing! Super non drying and doesn't leave the skin feeling like I have just stripped all the natural oils off my face! This cleanser is very gentle on the skin and I feel like my face has been rehydrated as if I had a facial done. I did feel very refreshed after using it and would be very happy to use it as a daily cleanser.

Because it is a gel-wash, the consistency makes application really easy to smooth over and rub into the skin to cleanse and you don't need too much of the product as it spreads very nicely. There is a hint of aloe fragrance but not too overpowering so I felt like it added to the "relax spa" feel while using it.

I have used this for a little under 4 weeks now and can say, I still have just over half the bottle. This is something that will last a long time even with consistent daily use. It is definitely something I will be happy to pay for given the results I have felt on my skin and the amount of product I have barely used! Worth the price!

The packaging is just your standard cleanser bottle. Great to take on travelling trips too as the bottle closes very securely so no spills can occur!

Overall, I really liked this gel-wash. I liked how it left my face feeling refreshed and very hydrated. I will be continuing to use this for a while until I find something that can beat it!

Packaging is nice, easy to use pump bottle style which I like. Product is nice, smells lovely and fresh, gentle on the skin and doesn't strip it the way some cleansers do.

Fairly generic cleanser, does the job like most of them do and don't think anything really stands out here.
