L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Regime Reviews

Thank you Beauty Review for giving me the opportunity to trial this regime - my skin thanks you too!

First of all, I love the packaging. The opaque white glass tubs with the flash of red looks great on the counter - instant style!

The day cream I enjoyed. It's a light orange colour, a rich but not overly so texture, with a citrus/floral scent. It applies nicely and sinks in quickly. I like that it has SPF in it - but if it didn't I wouldn't mind anyway as I prefer to apply SPF as part of my morning regime anyway.

The night cream is more floral in scent, and not too thick in texture. It sinks in quickly, but I felt like I would have enjoyed it more if it were a touch richer - in saying that my skin felt hydrated and as part of the regime it worked.

I loved the eye cream. It's a light cream that once dabbed around my eye sunk in quickly and really made the area under my eyes look moisturised and glowing and awake. I especially loved using it in the morning because I could see the difference.

Over the month (or thereabouts) that I trialled this regime I saw a real difference to my skin. It's more plump, it's firmer, it looks younger. I didn't see any change in my more ingrained wrinkles, but I don't mind that, nor do I have that expectation. Only a needle filled with wrinkle-freezer will get rid of those lines! All in all I was impressed with this regime. It's not something I'd have reached for on the supermarket shelves, and I'm glad it's now on my radar.

Absolutely loved the Eye Cream from the small glass pot it came in to the refreshing cream which felt so great under the eyes. You need only a small amount which is applied by lightly tapping it under the eye. Under the eyes never felt greasy they felt refreshed. The Day Cream was my least favorite product. I found it too strong/thick for my skin and found it didn't absorb very well. The scent was a bit overpowering and to me it smelt alot like sunscreen. The Night Cream was very thick and again a bit much for my skin. My face felt heavy and was very shiny for ages after applying. Love the square glass jars all the products come in and they stacked nicely in the cupboard. Sadly this range was not for me and I ended up with lots of breakouts which didn't seem to clear up. Just think it was a bit heavy for my skin. Loved the eye cream the best.

All three products come in square pottles with screw on lids.

The eye cream is really cute as it comes in a miniature version of the day & night. It is a semi thick cream and has a small scent. Apply a small amount underneath your eye and gently dab along up towards your browline morning and night.

The day cream is less thick than the other two and is a Peachy pinky orange colour with your typical cream sent. Simply dab a few spots all over your face in the morning and rub in small circular motions until absorbed.

The night cream is a thick white cream with a slight present scent. Dab a few spots all over your face each night and once again apply in small circular motions until cream is absorbed.

I really have enjoyed trialling the Revitalift Regime and I'm definitely going to purchase a second lot of each cream to continue to use as so far my results are looking fantastic.

All of my lines around my eyes have become finer and my deep creases along my forehead have become less defined. All three creams absorb easily and are very pleasant to use. I did find that the day cream would leave my skin looking very shiny if I used too much so a little goes a long way. I feel like I have had a mini eyelift in the sense that the bag's under my eyes no longer look like bags, the skin in that area looks more firm and plump. My crows feet are definitely smaller.

I am very excited to see what difference another month or two could make using this regime and I would highly recommend.

Over the 4 week trail i liked alot of things about this skincare range. I liked how it felt, as did my sensitive combination skin. Its easy to use and goes along way. My skin did feel firmer, brighter & clear. I feel its averagly priced to similar products, being in the mid-low range afordability. Packaging is nice, easily identifiable & of good quality. I will continue to use all products untill finished.

I was super excited when I was picked for this review - been using good old faithful products that I reviewed a few years ago and thought this would give me the option to find something new - This regime consisted of: L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Day Cream SPF 15 LOréal Paris Revitalift Night Cream & LOréal Paris Revitalift Eye Cream. Great looking set of these products arrived in nice looking boxes. The day cream has a nice peach colour to it and not to heavy for day wear. The night cream consist of a rich white cream that spreads easily over the face, and I used eye cream sparingly because it is quite thick compared to other eye creams I have used in the past. No overwhelming fragrance that suited me just fine. I did not have to use much of any of these creams as it spread easily onto the face and neck.

I have been using the product close on 3 weeks and still it I have only used a little bit - think these will last for quite a long time and I think it will be good value for the price. Its is pretty affordable as long as you don't go out and buy them all at once. The pretty simple and I liked the presentation - unfortunately again packaging goes to waste (outer packaging) - the white containers easily fit on my dresser. I think that using the products for longer will help to reach its full potential, I don't think it can be reached in only a few weeks - its not a miracle cream that have made my wrinkles magically disappear unfortunately but I'm still holding out for a miracle :)

On opening the 3 items in the regime I was initially a little taken back by the thickness of the creams, but they smelt really lovely.

I would have to say that of all the products the eye cream was the biggest revelation! I have never really stuck to an eye cream and instead have used them intermittently. This regime suggested applying the eye cream both day and night as part of the skin care plan. I found that the size of the pot initially seemed small, but I learnt quickly that a little goes a long way. The cream was lovely and light going on, it absorbed really well and cause me any major irritation. I did accidentally rub my eyes one night and got a little in my eye - which wasn't fun, but totally me being dumb, not the fault of the product! I have to say that I wasn't sure that the product would live up to the suggested outcome, but looking at the skin around my eyes today I am really happy. It has done a fantastic job of decreasing any of the wrinkles around my eyes and improving the look of my skin in this area! I definitely think that has had the effect of brightening up my appearance overall and stopping me from looking so prematurely tired all the time. I will absolutely be keeping on using this product and will repurchase when I've finished it - I've been using it twice every single day and I'd estimate I would still at least another month, possibly 2 because I'm not sure how deep the cream is in the pot (I'm not game to stick my finger all the way into it).

The night cream was probably my biggest concern, it is a very rich and creamy moisturiser. I will put my hand up and say I was really worried about potential breakouts! Over the first few days of using the night cream I did notice a few pimples around my forehead, which was a little odd because it was the driest part of my face! But I kept on with the regime and the few pimples did clear up after 2 - 3 days. Immediately I did notice that my forehead in particular had started to look in much better condition. I went from using the bare minimum to actually putting larger amounts on by the end of the initial 4 weeks because it was so moisturising and felt good. I've noticed a huge reduction in the amount of dryness and flaking that had been causing me so many concerns prior to trying this item.

I really really liked the consistency of the day cream. It was a much lighter cream and the night cream, but did seem to be slightly slower to absorb so I did look a little shiny starting off the mornings. I think my only big concern around this product is that it is only an SPF15 - given the shine I was already getting in the morning I'm not sure I'd want to add another product to my face everyday in the form of a high SPF sunscreen. As a standalone it was good, but not keen on layering it. I think that L'Oreal may have an SPF30 day cream though and will give this a try when I have finished the current SPF15 pot.

So I have tried all three products which are targeted towards the over 40's.

I found all 3 to be really silky, thick creams which I loved. They absorbed so easily into the skin and didn't feel greasy or oily at all. My skin is on the normal to dry side.

All came in nice white jars and they all had a lovely perfume.

My skin certainly felt more hydrated in the morning and still has a glow at the end of the day, so I'm loving the moisturising affects!

Definitely a lovely skincare regime I would happily recommend for mature skin, and priced very reasonably I feel especially considering how a little goes a long way.

There's something rather luxurious about using products from all the same family group, rather than bits and bobs from different brands. And when you use a full regime, you know they're designed to work together and won't react with each other! The packaging is nice and classic L'Oreal, very streamlined and clinical looking, although you do have to stick your fingers into the tubs, which isn't very hygenic. The scent is replicated throughout and has that mumsy, talcum, old-fashioned, sweet sort of fragrance. (I can't describe it very well, but if you smell it, you'll be like - "yep - that's it exactly!") The day cream has more scent than the night cream, so if you're sensitive to smells, see if you can have a whiff first before you buy it. I was a bit worried about the Retinol additive - my skin has been known to break out with it, but these creams didn't have any adverse effect. I'm not sure whether that's because my skin has finally decided to behave itself, or whether the levels of retinol aren't very high.

The eye cream is lovely and moistuising and quite thick - a little goes a very long way! I'll be using this little tub for weeks and weeks, I think.

The day cream has an SPF 30 which is good (yay - I'm so tired of day creams saying they're wrinkle preventative and yet don't have an SPF, that's just stupid). It's also this weird apricot colour which is unusual, but doesn't turn your skin orange or anything. It's thicker than a lotion, but not heavy at all and is nice and softening for (ahem) aged skins like mine.

The night cream is thicker, but sinks in quickly - no messy pillowcases!

I didn't really notice a difference in my fine lines and wrinkles - it plumps out your skin alright, but I think most moisturisers do that. I did notice a difference in skin softening and it kept the texture of my skin nice and smooth.

All in all, it's a nice regime to use, nothing earth-shattering in skin technology or anything, but nice to have on the bathroom shelf :)

These products come in nice looking glass jars and all match. The packaging is simple with good info and the jars fit nicely into the boxes without there being too much box. All three are nice and thick and creamy. The day cream has sunscreen in it which is great. It has a pleasant scent without being too overpowering and absorbs quickly into my skin without being greasy. The night cream has minimal scent and seems thicker than the day cream. It feels kind of silky. It also absorbs quickly. Both these products make my skin feel instantly hydrated and this lasts throughout the day and my face still feels nice in the morning. The eye cream is a little thinner than the other two. It goes on smoothly and feels great. I haven't noticed any scent with the eye cream. After using these products my skin looks and feels smoother, most of my fine lines have minimized to some degree, although there are a couple that don't seem to have changed. I no longer have rough dry patches as the hydration with these products is great. I think the price for these products are great as a little goes a long way and so they will last a while. I found these to be great products and were better than what I had expected. Would definately purchase again.

I have been using L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Regime for abot three weeks now, and I can definitely see the differences before and after three weeks of using L’Oreal Paris Revitalift. My skin feel so smooth and firm. I can see less prominent wrinkles, and I love the fragrance too! The three products work really well together to enhance firm skin. Using Revitalift Day Cream works during the day and I don’t have to worry adding sunblock into my regime since it has SPF 30. At night, Revitalift Night Cream works while I rest, therefore it continue to firm my skin. Eye Contour Cream is an extra benefit to reduce the wrinkles around my eyes which start to develop. I can see it! Overall, I recommend these L’Oreal Revitalift Regime to your daily beauty regime!
