I was a little bit worried about trying this as I have very fair skin, so any self-tanning is very obvious and mistakes can be quite unforgiving. This product is very easy to apply, although I was not sure how much would be needed and may have used a bit too much. The colour is a nice deep brown, and since it is instant you can see exactly what you are doing. It drys quickly, so you do need to work relatively fast. I personally feel this is a little bit too dark for my skin tone, but will definately give it another go to see if it makes a difference with less product, and I am interested to see if the 'inside out tanning' formula with melatime and vegetan makes a difference.

Tips: You only need two pumps at the most to cover each leg.
I was initially pretty sceptical about this product as I have had so many bad experiences with fake tanners that I generally just stick to tinted moisturisers and don't bother with actual tanning products. I was also a bit worried because it came out of the bottle looking really dark. This wasn't a big worry though as when it was on the skin it lightened up and smoothed in well. It's great to see that it has in-built Macadamia Oil to moisturise the skin and it doesn't smell yuck either. Great product and I would definitely reuse and repurchase it.
Tips: Exfoliate beforehand to prepare the skin and start off by just doing a little bit and then build it up if you want darker coverage. Using a mitt is really helpful too, or you end up with tanned palms of your hands which looks a bit weird.
The product smells great! I can't stand smelling like fake tan - no one does tehe - this product didn't give off that standard fake tan aroma. I was impressed at how natural it looked against my very pale skin tone. You can see if you have made a mistake and fix it before it drys. None of my clothes were stained however even after thoroughly washing my hands, they were orange looking. Unfortunately I got caught in the rain with the tan on my legs and I got spots and streaks down my legs - not a good look. So I would definately use this for one off events in the Summer with a clear forecast ahead.
Tips: Wash hands ASAP to avoid orange paws!
most important - make sure you shake before you pump! i didnt and it came out all runny (user error) after a quick shake it came out in an even mouse texture. It has a pleasent smell, better than other tanning products ive used. to be honest i have a good tan atm (just got back from Bali) but it has deepened my colour to a nice BROWN - not orange! it has an even coverage and no streaks. i am a user of aerosol tans usually - but im very impressed with this mouse.
Tips: definitly give it a good shake. apply to clean dry skin - do not put moistrizer on first as it wont absorb into your skin for a longer lasting colour. and rub it in until you feel dry.. try and not put on any clothing for at least 5 min.
I found this product easy to use and you could see were you had applied it. I have pale skin and would probably use it more in the summer months as I found the colour quite intense for early in the season. Smells good, I would try it with the Model Co application mitt as I did find it stained by hands and when I tried to wash it off other parts of me that got wet tended to run!
Tips: Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate! I bought the application mitt to see if I got a different result - I'm hooked. I got a much more natural and even colour and NO ORANGE HANDS!!! Try it!
I am a big fake tan user, especially through winter, and its hard to find one that doesn't come out orange. I do have a brand that I buy regularly, but had never tried Model Co, and its definately a winner. The tan developed better over a couple of hours, and could dress about 10mins after application, alot of tans are alot longer waiting time. The colour is more subtle and natural looking. I will definately be using this one.
Tips: For all tan users, use the gloves, make applying alot easier.
I do not usually use fake tan products and tend to use other methods to tan through the winter months...so I was a bit nervous about using this product. I was pleasantly surprised it does not have that awful fake tan smell and I found it relatively easy to use. My application wasn't perfect and I need some practice to avoid streaks ( more a case of "operater error" than the fault of the product). The colour was pretty good...not the orange I feared!
Tips: If you haven't used fake tan before read all the other reveiwers tips!
This product did what it said it would. The scent was pleasant, no awful self tanning after smell. Easy to apply, washed off hands well. The product was interesting when you rubbed it on, turn from a mousse form into foundation like texture, but the outcome was good & instant. Natural looking tan, perfect for when you need last minute colour when you havent had time to spray tan or apply fake tan few days before a special occasion. Would use again.
Tips: Hopefully would'nt get caught in the rain on the way to your party/night out/date night/wedding etc as found tan ran & got strecky after getting water on it.
I liked that this product did what it said it would and it didn't smell bad like many other tanning products do. I used it the day I was going out and it was really strong even though I've got med-dark skin it looked a bit fake. It seemed to tone down a bit after a shower the next day but my knees looked a bit orangey. Including the Mit was great but it only lasted for the first application.
Tips: Wear gloves for application and use sparingly on the knees/elbows.
Pleasently surprised. normally I would be reluctant to buy a mousse type of self tan, preferring lotions (less messy). This did a good job, nice coverage, no streaks, nice colour. best of all it smells good.
Tips: you might need to use an exfoliating wash to get it off your hands after, even if you wash them straight away.
