Olay Total Effects Moisturiser Normal UV SPF15 Review

I was picked to review this for the trial team. MY skin is combination which can be very prone to oiliness in summer and dry patches in winter. I really like the fact that this had SPF in it AND didn't sting my eyes(normally SPF stings my eyes). It wasn't overly thick, which i find a lot of SPF moisturizers to be. It claims to be oil-free, which is what i like. But I found this wasn't as "oil-free" as I like my moisturiser to be.Like, i defintely won't be able to use this in summer as I'll look like a greasy mess. It was fast absorbing which I like. This is defintely only something I could use in winter, which i don't mind because i always change my moisturizers in different seasons. It definitely gave me a nice glow, without making me look oily, so it defintely tackles dullness (but this isn't really a concern for me). I don't really have much fine lines, so i don't know whether there was any changes there- the moisturizer may combat that over a longer period of time. I did notice that my pores looked visibly smaller-nothing drastic but it was something i noticed. I don't really have an uneven skintone right now, so i can't comment on that. BUt i think maybe what they put in it for the glow would help disguise uneven skintone. Overall, i did enjoy this moisturizer- it didn't break me out and gave me a nice glow, while offering SPF. I could only use this in winter, but that's fine. It is a very good moisturizer.

Love the small pump bottle this moisturiser come in. It's a great size in your hand with an extremely easy to use pump. I did find that pressing the pump right down gave me way to much cream so I recommend only pressing down maybe halfway. The moisturiser is lovely and creamy and spreads over your face easily. I found there was no oily residue and it absorbed well into my skin. Love how it has a SPF 15 especially for summer. The scent was fine and didn't smell to strongly of sunscreen which I find overpowering in some moisturisers. It says to apply twice a day but I wouldn't use it in the evenings as a night cream as I don't like using SPF moisturisers at night. My skin did feel softer and we'll moisturised but didn't notice any difference in my fine lines but I think it would take longer than 10 days to see significant changes. Overall I was very pleased with this product.

Thank you for the opportunity to trial Olay Total Effects 7 in One. I like the consistency of the cream. Its smooth and neutral smell. I like that when you apply it, there is no greasy feeling. I cannot judge the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles as early as now and so with age spots reduction. Maybe a few more months of use and it will be noticeable. However, I can say that when I look up close, I noticed my skin tone to be even which I am happy about. It gives additional glow which is a positive since I don't wear make up. My measurement for its instant effectiveness is when others notice something different to me which sad to say, no one had commented.

I'm not overwhelmed but then I'm not underwhelmed. I have been putting this on every day for the last two weeks and other than noticing that it sinks in relatively quickly, I tend to forget I have put it on.

My skin looks the same as always and two weeks in not long enough to work out if it's doing something magical for my 30 year old skin. I am thankful it comes in a pump and the plastic packaging would be good for travel. It smells pleasant and my make up goes over it with out any problems.

It's a good, cost effective day cream that will be easy to find in the supermarket or drug store.

I quite liked this product. There isn't too much packaging which is good. Plenty of info on the box and is easy to read and understand. I like that it has an spf, I worry less when the sun is out. It has a slight fragrance, but it's not too strong. The consistency is good with it being quite thick and it melts easily into my skin. I like that it comes in a pump bottle. It is less messy than one you squeeze out. Instructions said to apply twice a day but I found that too much and left my skin feeling greasy at the end of the day, so I only applied once. My skin was hydrated all day without the greasiness. My skin mostly looked better, although it didn't do anything for the redness in my skin. I found foundation looked smoother and more even. Without foundation I found my skin looked less dull, and looked fresher. I would pay full price for this product as I liked how it made my skin look and feel.

I'm a time-poor mum, so I was really excited to get my hands on this moisturiser. I only use day cream that includes SPF because I'm too lazy to apply sunscreen too, so this was exactly the type of product I use.

This product was in an easy to use with a nice wide-based pottle that is at no risk of falling over and sending your other beauty products flying (am I the only one with that issue?). The pump gives a good amount of product for your face.

The product didn't have any weird smell and was easily absorbed into my skin. I didn't suffer from dry spots or reactions when using it.

The only downside I found with this moisturiser is that sometimes it was a bit stingy on my dry skin. In the defence of the product, it may be because my skin had been sensitised by another product, but all the same my BB cream never stung my face, whether applied on top of this product or on its own.

If you're looking for an affordable multi-tasking product this is a good option, but if you have sensitive or dry skin just be a bit wary of this one.

This is a lovely light cream, in a pump bottle. One pump is plenty to cover face and neck, so it's not wasteful at all. I usually have dry patches in winter, and these have cleared up while using the cream, so I'm going to call that a win. Overall my skin is feeling softer and healthier so I'm definitely going to keep using this one. It has SPF in it as well, so that's always a winner in my book.

Hello Total Effects, a product I admit I have over looked many times because it always screamed 'mature women' to me. I will be the first to admit when I am wrong, and I was on this...so very very wrong. Im in my early 30's and already have huge pores, signs of wrinkles emerging, uneven skin tone & a few dark spots so based on this products description Im ready for it. First off the packaging. This always looked quite luxury to me, but I was a little shocked to find it was quite a light-weight plastic container after all - but I guess the price should have helped manage my expectations there. The design of the bottle is awesome though and who doesn't like a pump when it comes to face products, sooo much better than having to scrape out of a tub. Now the cream it's self it actually a lot thicker than I had anticipated so used 2 pumps on the first try and quickly realised that was a mistake. one pump is more than enough for me to apply to my whole face, neck AND my decolletage. I find that this absorbs quickly so im not left with that greasy looking face which I hate & which is why this does make a perfect under makeup or primer option. Now for the results: my skin feels absolutely amazing, really soft and supple & a little firmer now in the jaw line. It has left my skin glowing so much so that I have been going without a makeup base this whole week. My pore appear reduced in size or more blurred I should say. I will admit this has done nothing for my slowly growing wrinkles but it could just be because they are not fully developed yet so potentially can't be healed? Either way i really have fallen in love with this cream & with the added benefit of UV protection you can't go wrong. I will buy again for sure!

I'll start with the packaging as this was a negative for me. The product comes in a bottle inside a box this would be fine but then the box is in sealed plastic. I don't like creating too much waste and thought this was completely unnecessary, not only is it wasteful but the plastic was extremely hard to get into. The bottle itself has a pump style lid where you press down and it gives you a set amount, I like this as it makes it easy.

The product itself is a medium consistency with a slight scent. I think floral? I'm not entirely sure but it smells nice. I have used it morning and night since I recieved it so I could see how my skin reacted and give it a fair review. It promises to help 7 skin concerns. Fine Lines - I have noticed a reduction in the frown lines between my eyes Uneven skin tone - I personally did not find this. I think you need a bb cream or similar for this task Dark spots - not applicable to me Uneven texture - I didn't notice this as it wasn't instant however on reflection my face does feel much more uniform now Dry skin- this is why I like this the most. I have very dry skin, particularly in the winter. This mosturiser has fixed that without leaving my skin greasy.

Overall I do like this product and would purchase it again.

Firstly i loved the packaging on this, the pump makes it teally easy to use and i found one pump was the right amount for my whole face. Its a nice light weight formula, So not super thick and heavy so really comfotable to wear under my makeup but enough to give my skin the hydration it needs. I didnt notice any fragrance which is nice also im not a huge fan of highly scented skin products for my sensitve skin.

I will continue to happily use this, it leaves my skin feeling really nice and i love that it had the added SPF to give me that extra protection. I think its well priced and glad that its easily found in the supermarket. Would def reccomend this to anyone looking for a good affordable moisturiser
