I was a little skeptical about a scented cleansing water that was meant to be for sensitive skin, however, this one is amazing and gentle! It did a great job at taking my makeup off at the end of the day, although I can't comment on its ability to remove waterproof makeup as it's not something I use. Also, the product did not leave an oily residue (something I was worried about with already oily skin) my skin was left feeling clean and refreshed. Will definitely continue to use!

I very nearly didn't accept this trial as my experiences with micellar water in the past have seen me with stinging eyes after use. However the oil element swayed me as I do like an oil cleanse.
The package is simple - plastic, large, not fancy, but pleasant to look at. The oil sits on top and you have to shake the bottle before use.
As directed I applied the micellar to a cotton pad and then wiped it across my face/eyes/lips as a first cleanse. It worked wonderfully well - and it didn't sting my eyes, which immediately makes it a winner for me. After use I second cleansed with a cream cleanser and my skin felt great - clean, but not dry.
I did try using this by itself and while it still did a great job as before, I wasn't fond of the tacky feeling that was left post cleanse (it says you don't have to rinse it off). While my skin felt hydrated and didn't break out, it 's too much of an uncomfortable feeling for me to get past, so I've marked it down on that. Not a big deal though as I wouldn't usually use this by itself anyway. And if I took it travelling as my only cleanser I'd rinse with water post-use, which would take care of the tacky issue.
All in all I am sold on this product. Will absolutely purchase in the future. I've been converted.
I used this at night to remove my make up before bed as I usually do with micellar water, It seemed to remove some of my make up but I didn't notice much coming off the pad like I normally do with other micellars. It wasn't drying and I had no irritation after using it but I felt it was too oily for me and didn't feel like it was doing anything.
Tips: Have extra pads to wipe the excess oil off
My first thought was that's a large bottle and not badly priced for the 200+ uses per bottle. When sitting the oil sits on top of the water, so shaking first before use is a must. The smell is plesent and not overpowering or chemically smelling at all, rather a fresh smell. I found that I needed to wet my cotton wipe a lot to get my makeup removed, and found if I left my face wet and used a another dry wipe it worked better. I liked how my skin felt afterwards, not dry at all. The down side was getting my mascara off, it wasn't as effective in this area and if any got in my eye it felt irritated for a little while. Overall I don't think I would rush out and buy some more, but I will continue to use it and see if my option changes. My 14 year old daughter has been using it also and it hasn't reacted at all with her sensitive skin.
Tips: Be careful using around your eyes
I was a bit skeptical as you can see the oil in the water, but I have to admit it works so well, especially for removing eye makeup! I’ve been using it at night before bed, and it definitely removes any remaining product well. It also made my skin feel smooth and hydrated!
Tips: I used it on a cotton pad to remove eye makeup. The lid does leak a little so be careful if you take it for travel!
On first impressions I thought the bottle was huge and the product itself looked very interesting; the micellar water with the yellowish oil settled on the top. I have always loved micellar water for the ease of use and how awesome it is to remove make up - waterproof or otherwise - and this micellar water was no exception, it was awesome! I wet a cotton pad and glided it over my face and wallah the make up was gone in one wipe. I did find that my face felt a bit oily after use but I just skipped moisturising afterwards. The price was quite reasonable too - $10.80 on special at my local supermarket so I'd definitely consider buying again.
Tips: Give the bottle a good shake and apply to a cotton pad and wipe away!
This is my favourite of the Garnier micellar waters, I am now on my third bottle. It really does remove my Estee lauder double wear makeup quite easily and although it doesn't completely remove my waterproof mascara. It makes my skin feel clean and fresh but not dry.. It smells nice and fresh too, I don't think the fragrance is too strong. I've tried several other Garnier micellar waters but this is by far the best.
Tips: I just stocked up at Countdown where is currently half price!
No secret I’m a huge fan of micellar water to remove my makeup.. I think I’ve tried all of them. I haven’t really been let down yet. Especially by garnier.
This was no exception.
I think the thing I loved most was that this miraculous micellar water dissolved and helped wash away some of the most stubborn mascara I’ve ever used!! I really need to start wearing my glasses more when shopping because I purchased a waterproof mascara - something I don’t do often.. as much as I love the thought, I hate the thought of removing it even more. But this micellar water worked wonders. Hands down it removed my waterproof mascara with ease! I was gobsmacked as my gel micellar (as much as I love it) struggled.
It left my sensitive skin feeling clean and fresh and not oily or irritated. So that’s another big win for me. I don’t feel like my skins been stripped thank goodness.. even though I follow up with moisturiser etc some washes leave my skin dryer than the Sahara desert.
One thing about micellar water is the application.. I don’t like using a disposable wipe all the time so I’ve brought 2 washable wipes - I just need to stay on top of my washing now eek.
It’s a really decent size and look from garnier. On par with the rest of the micellar range. I have a nice wee line up going on now.
Amazing price if you get on sale like I did at countdown. Even the non-sale price is pretty good for the size.
I’m a month down and still about 2/3 full. So very long lasting.
Another stunner from garnier. This and the gel are up there in my top makeup removers/cleansers.
I had used the regular/original Garnier micellar water many times before deciding to give this oil infused version a go. Turns out that I prefer this one now.
I really like this super clean and simple looking packaging and with the layer of yellow oil in the bottle, I think that it looks like quite an appealing product to use on my face.
This cleanser is super effective at removing a good coat of makeup, it's very gentle and mildly hydrating at the same time, and I get the feeling that it's good for my skin.
I find that this 400ml bottle lasts and lasts with almost daily use, in which case the value for money is unreal.
I will definitely to continue to purchase this product, it's my favorite micellar water and micellar water is a product that I always have on hand.
I was very skeptical about this product as my opinion of micellar waters in general was that they were a gimmick - they just look like water! However, I'm now a convert. The first time I used this I'd cleansed my skin the night before, and worn no makeup all day. Yet using the Garnier Micellar Water in Oil to still removed makeup that my other cleanser had clearly missed. I have sensitive skin, and am quite particular about the products I use. The water in oil did not cause any rash, or eczema. In fact, my skin has rarely ever felt so soft and smooth. The only negative is that I have had a small breakout this week (since using the Water in Oil). So although the instructions state that it does not require rinsing, I will be rinsing the oil off in future.
Tips: Make sure you shake the bottle before use, to mix the oil and water.
