This product comes in heavy glass vials in a sturdy card box and feels very bougee and expensive. The quality feels great, but for the price of approx $5 per bottle it's a quality I would expect. It's also great that the packaging is recyclable, no plastic in sight. Yes, these collagen shots work, but only while you're using them. On day 3 I could see improved skin plumpless and hydration especially in the fine lines on my forehead, however I did find the effects were not long lasting as soon as you stop taking this product daily the effects wear off really fast. For the price tag my opinion is a good quality plumping serum would have the same effect and be more economical.

The taste is a deterrent to me, I found it to be very unpalatable no matter how I took it, tried mixed with water, smoothie, straight. The least offensive way was to mix with apple juice which covered the flavor best, for the price point I'd expect either better flavor or flavorless which could be mixed easier.

I couldn't find any long term dosage instructions so assuming it's expected one would take this daily indefinitely it does not feel like a long term option at $5/day. I researched other brands and they specify 3-4 times a week which seems more manageable. In conclusion, yes this product works, but only as long as you continue to take it.

When I received a heavy little box of Dr. LeWinn's Inner Beauty shots I was so intrigued! I had never taken a liquid beauty supplement before, would a beauty drink really work or just another gimmick for all of us chasing eternal youth?

The beauty shots are encased in small glass 50ml bottles (like a little miniature bottle of alcohol) but the very pretty and professional green & silver label tells me this is vegan collagen with hyaluronic acid in a cloudy apple flavor.

I was skeptical that a product like this would taste good however upon twisting the very first bottle open I could smell the pleasant aroma of apples and can confirm they were actually delicious.

These shots can be taken straight or mixed with water - I did not mix as I really enjoyed the taste. I liken it to warm apple juice, and 50ml is a small amount to swig back quickly even if you are not an apple lover.

I repeated the process of 1 shot per day for 20 days (2 boxes of inner beauty shots) and began to notice a slight changes after about 14 days.

My nails were growing very quickly and seemed strong, the tips were whiter and thicker than usual! My skin appeared to seem brighter and less congested, a colleague actually mentioned to me I was glowing! I did not notice any change in my hair but that may come later.

While I did not think the change was dramatic it was slightly more than I anticipated happening within 20 days. I feel it was significant enough to give credit to the beauty shots for such a positive result.

My nails remain long and strong, and my skin brightness and fine lines have improved - if I had continued taking these shots for a longer period I don’t doubt that I would have seen even greater results.

With this product set at a somewhat higher price point likely due to being a luxe label / well known quality brand (approx $59.99 per box of 10) I am pleased to say overall this is a high quality product and value for money - I would (and definitely will) take the Dr LeWinns inner beauty shots again for a beauty boost.

These come well packaged and in easy to use bottles. I just used with plain tap water and would take at lunchtime as found I couldn't stomach taking it in the morning. Has a very strong apple taste which I wasn't overly fond of but that's just me as not a huge fan of apple juice but after a week of taking it tasted better. However for the first week I did experience bad indigestion after taking but this did settle down after the first week of drinking. After about a week I did start to notice a change in my skin, it seemed clearer and a bit more subtle feeling. One big change I noticed was I have a dry brown age spot on my cheek and this started to loose the dry pieces of skin on it, which no cream had been able to do. I also had less breakages on my fingernails and my hair had a bit more shine to it. Overall I was very impressed with these little bottles of liquid gold and I feel they did what they said they would do.

I trialed this product for 20 days and have a few thoughts: Packaging - each shot came in a nice glass bottle, well sealed. I actually like the bottles so much I washed them in the dishwasher to keep for later. Taste - it tastes like apple juice but with an off-putting aftertaste, it was almost salty? I couldn't drink it as a shot or diluted in water, but with a glass of juice it was hardly noticeable so I would definitely recommend juice or a smoothie. I also didn't notice any unpleasant side effects such as nausea (which I get frequently when taking vitamins etc) so that was nice. Effectiveness - I honestly didn't notice any significant difference to my hair/skin/nails after 20 days of taking these collagen shots. It's possible that it wasn't enough time and I would need to take them for several months to see an effect, but due to the price I will not be doing so. Price - as I got this product as a trial from Beauty review I didn't purchase it myself, but I looked at the retail price afterwards and I can't see myself ever buying another pack as they are prohibitively expensive (more than $5 per shot..!). Unfortunately I just didn't see enough results to justify that sort of cost.

I was very excited to try this as I was finishing up on my usual collagen supplement (in powder format) and recalled that liquid forms were better absorbed.

Bottles were small enough for me to slip into my bag for those days with earlier start so I won't forget taking them which was good bonus.

Taste was very pleasant (just like the description - cloudy apple) and I added this shot to my first glass of water for the day and it almost felt like a glass of apple juice which was bonus for me.

I did noticed stronger nails growing faster than before towards the end of 20 days trial and noticed that my skin in general felt more hydrated (especially with my hands) than before.

I'd recommend this to anyone who is looking at easy and tasty collagen options.

I have quite problem skin. It's dry (I'm 52) and since menopause hit me like an oncoming bus, it's really struggled to stay hydrated. I've also found that my skin is more sensitive and I often have to deal with dry patches and eczema on my face (nightmare). So about a month ago, I decided to try a box of the regular Dr Lewinn's collagen beauty shots and they made a HUGE difference. When I saw that there was a vegan alternative, I was keen to try them too. After 2 boxes (20 days) I can honestly say that they have built on my previous results but they don't seem to have done as much as quickly as the non-vegan option. That said, I started off with my skin in a pretty bad place to begin with, so I'm happy that at least it didn't backslide! I think this might be a good option, going forward, although I do prefer the non-vegan option (my gut reaction as that the marine collagen felt like it did more for me). I do like the flavour of this vegan option though (cloudy apple) and drank it with a glass of water every morning, on an empty stomach. The bottles were easy to open (some other brand I tried wasn't so easy) and I like that I can throw the lids into my 'tin' recycling box, and the glass bottles also get recycled (that makes me feel better about things as otherwise there would be quite a lot of waste!). I like how easy it is to work into my daily routine, and there definitely were results after 2 boxes but as to whether I would recommend? I think I'd probably recommend the non-vegan option for faster results, but if you were vegan then this one is the way to go. When I first tried one, I took the lid off and skulled the shot, after all, it did say they were 'liquid beauty liquid shots!'. I found them very sweet and a little bit thick. They had a lovely apple flavour and I rinsed the bottle out and then drank the water as it still had a faint apple flavour (and I didn't want to waste any!)

Upon reading the Serving Suggestions on the box (always recommended), I discovered that these were best added to still or sparkling water or with a smoothie. I decided to add one to lemonade and discovered the most delicious appleade drink! I also made a point of using lemonade to rinse the bottle out so nothing was left behind.

The box tells us why we need collagen and provides more info about the liquid shots. I'm here to tell you that these really are miracle shots and worked wonders for me.

Firstly, my nails stopped snapping and became so strong. I was even able to use it to turn a screw without it breaking! They feel like they are so strong and rarely break or split.

Secondly, my skin has improved in texture and firmness. Sneaky fine lines that were beginning to appear have stayed away. I also noticed a huge reduction in breakouts.
