Not a fan. I use the original Trilogy Rosehip oil and love it. When this came out I thought I would give it ago but didn't like it. I'm not to sure why I just prefer the original and my skin seams to look good when using it. I think this one might be better for a more mature skin type?

I use this for a scar on my back. Smells great, is a great consistency and not oily at all. Haven't noticed a huge improvement but prefer it to others on the market
Tips: Be careful as it will stain white clothes
I have dry skin and acne scars so i thought i would give this oil a go, for a few months i put it on twice a day as a replacement of a moisturizer and it works wonders! after a few months my acne scars were gone and my face felt plump and healthy!
Tips: dont be scared of it if you have oily skin! you would be surprised
I love Rosehip Oil and have tried a few brands. My skin definitely less dry and looks healthier. It does not make my skin feel oil and greasy. I use 3 drops every night before bed, leaved my skin feel nourished and vibrant. Works a an excellent moisturiser, does not feel heavy on my skin. In winter when my skin is extremely dry, I add a few drops to a bit of body moisturiser for extra hydration. In summer if I get sunburn I use a few drops on my skin to help the healing process. Highly recommend.
Tips: Can use it on your hands to moiturise your hands and nails.
The packaging is simple and sophisticated. It comes in a heavy glass bottle which feels quite expensive and luxurious. It's slightly tinted but you are still able to see how much product is left (so you know when to repurchase, because you definitely should). It comes with a pipette which I really like as you can easily control how much oil you use and it doesn't make a mess when you open it.
I have acne prone (I always have a couple of breakouts on my face at any time), oily/combo skin and have used the original Trilogy Rosehip oil. This one, in comparison has a better scent. It isn't as strong as the Rosehip and there is more of a tomato scent.
Now onto the important factor which is how well it works! I personally feel that this one absorbs a lot easier and faster than the original (which can tend to sit on the skin) and it leaves my skin plump, dewy and healthy. I do use this at night only, because I find it doesn't sit so well under makeup during the day so I will typically cleanse, use Rose water as toner, then apply this. Most nights, that will be enough but if my skin is particularly dehydrated, I will use a light moisturiser on top. When I wake up, my skin is hydrated, NOT oily (which is usually the case when I use a normal moisturiser) and glowy!
I have acne and acne scars and I find that my acne scars are helped with this product and weirdly, it seems to help my active breakouts as well! They seem to clear up faster and are less red and inflamed compared to when I use tea tree oil on it.
While it's a bit pricey, a little definitely goes a long way - I only use 3-4 drops for my entire face, eyes and use the excess on my neck- and it's definitely worth the price. I will definitely repuchase!
Tips: Use a tiny bit as a substitute for eye cream - I find it works even better than normal eye creams!
I find that it helps to clear up and heal my active pimples really well, and decrease the redness and inflamation - even better than Tea Tree so you might want to give it a go if you've got blemish prone skin like me.
I'm glad I have found this oil as in winter my skin tends to be drier and I've been using trilogy oil under my moisturer both day and night. My skin feels softer and less dry. In the day under my moisturer my make up goes on beautifully not too oily which I thought it might do. Recommend this product and love that it is natural.
Love this stuff I usually mix this with a bit of moisturiser at night and it makes my skin just so nice! And it takes off make up really well! An all rounder product definitely worth the purchase!
This product is something that I use every night before I go to bed. I have very oily skin but even so i still us this before I go to bed at night. I wake up and my skin is hydrated and I wash my face and wear a light day cream. The oil really feels like it evens the texture of my skin as I get a lot of it on my nose and my chin. I'll continue using this until I find something better which hasn't happened in around two years so far!
I've brought this product on a couple of different occasions as Im a firm believer in natural skin care and as there has been so much hype and rave reviews about this product I couldn't resist.
What I would call mid priced product I had hoped to see some kind of improvement to my skin tone, scars and breakouts, but that never came - even when used in conjunction with other trilogy products.
The packaging to me is fairly average but I liked the pop of silver with the Antioxidant +.
The dropper is the one positive I have from this product. It saves any wastage and lets you know that you are applying the correct amount - I wish more products were like this!!
I do have oily prone skin and Im guessing is why it hasn't work well for me, I used it every 2nd to 3rd day and when applied during my nighttime routine I found my skin way too oily upon rising in the morning, even when experimenting applying moisteriser on top or just using it by itself. It doesn't have the most pleasant of smells and left quite an oily residue on my skin.
If given this product I would still try it out again just to see if I find any difference (like I have already done with it previously) but defiantly wouldn't purchase it myself.
One product isn't going to be suited for everyone so guess Im just in the small amount of people this doesn't work for. So for me Im still on the lookout for the holy grail of face oils...
I was given one of these as a present at Xmas, and I was excited because I had read so many great reviews about it. It smells really nice and feels really good on the skin.
Unfortunately I've found that it causes my acne to get worse. At first it seemed like it helped against it, but after using it for a few weeks it turned into the opposite which was a bit disappointing.
I would recommend it to people who don't have issues with acne, but be careful if you do.
