1. PACKAGING: Product is packaged well inside a box that features clear print and an effective design. The Product itself is in a heavy duty plastic spray bottle, which the spray nozzle sprays an even fine mist. The bottle is well printed with everything you need to know about the product.
2. THE PRODUCT: Like the Cleanser it contains a lot of beneficial ingredients, the main being pure New Zealand Manuka Honey. Still has a strong fragrance which is not what some people typically like in their skincare. The solution is like an other toner but I love that its in a spray bottle form as it makes it alot easier to use and you can control how much you need unlike some brands toners which have the tip/ pour option which can lead to wasting of product as it is not as easily controlled.
3. HOW TO USE IT: Every morning and night, after cleansing my face I would apply 3-4 sprays of the toner onto a clean cotton round. I then gently start swiping across my skin making sure to avoid the eye area. I let the toner settle before applying any further steps.
4. MY FINAL THOUGHTS: Out of the 3 WILD FERNS Manuka Honey Range that I got to try (TY beautyreviewnz) this toner is by far my fave and something I would most definitely will go and purchase time and time again. Even though I am not keen on heavily fragrant skincare items, if I believe that that product is making a difference to my skin in the way in feels and looks I will continue to use it. I also love how its so simple to use with the spray bottle. And it leaves my face feeling clean and well hydrated.
OVERALL RATING: 10/10
I don't really usually use toner but was pretty keen to give this a try when I got selected for a trial team (Thanks BR!).
Firstly the packaging, it comes in a pastel/mellow yellow bottle with a white spray head. I found it interesting being a spray, as you'd think you should spray it straight onto your face, but don't! It's designed to be sprayed onto a cotton ball, which is weird because the spray disperses quite widely. A regular, open top bottle might have been more practical...?
Anyway, the product itself seems to do a really good job. It dried out my face well and took away all the excess oil and left my skin feeling dry and snatched. Always make sure you apply moisturiser afterwards so your skin doesn't dry out too much!
The downfall with this product, and the rest of the Wild Ferns Manuka range I've tried, is the smell. I think it's a pollen smell and it's juts too much and too strong for me.
All in all its actually a great product that does a good job if you can handle the smell.
Tips: Apply moisturiser afterwards.
