essano Clear Complexion Purifying Gel Cleanser Review

This cleanser quite simply, does the job. It comes in a pretty tube which allows for easy dispensing of a small amount of product. It spreads easily, but doesn't lather. The ingredients list is different to many others as it is very clear what it contains - think broccoli, aloe vera and rosemary. This isn't a luxury product and the scent reflects this, but the price does also. This could be a great product for teenagers first being introduced to skincare, or for anyone looking for an affordable, easy to find cleanser.

How does this fit into my routine? I use an oil cleanser and cloth in the evening to remove makeup before using the Essano purifying gel cleanser. After finishing this trial I will return to my previous cleanser in the evening, but will continue to use the Essano cleanser in the mornings. The most noticeable difference that it made to my skin is reducing oil, making it perfect for morning use. This isn't a magical, life-changing product but it certainly works. A cleanser is only on my skin for a matter of seconds, so I'm looking for it to do what it claims and nothing more - that is exactly what the Essano cleanser achieves.

This is my new favourite little thing! Such cute and simple packaging. It has a lovely natural sweet smell. The cleanser has a great consistency and foams up a small amount when applied to the face. This makes it feel like it really is washing and getting into those pores. However, I must say it is very gentle on the skin.. I used it after getting sunburnt and it didn’t sting a bit! After use, it can make my skin feel quite dry, but in the morning, my skin is noticeably less oily. Another bonus to this product is the price!!

This is such a beautiful range especially for oily acne prone skin. I trialed it on my teenager and myself as I have an oily T zone and I love the organic natural and botanical ingredients and also that it's made in New Zealand. The success lies in the supermarket mass marketing which is great for such a natural product to break into.

My son didn't like the pink packaging it wasn't unisex, he thought it could be Orange.I loved the packaging it looks beautiful with silver and deep purple and pink it seems pretty and unassuming.

The cleanser rubbed in well it's like jelly and smells like caramelized honey, I thought it was good that it was soap free as sodium laurel sulphate strips the skin of oils, so it didn't foam like most soapy cleansers. It felt light and clean and removed all my waterproof makeup. It cleaned my sons skin very well and after a few days of using this range his pimples had all vanished!

I love the fact that it is a bioDTox which means it's clinically proven to control sebum, detoxify and clean pores. Not only is it all natural but it's scientifically formulated and dermatological tested. It's free of nasties such as parabens, silicone and is soap free.

I love natural products, as they usually seem to work with my sensitive skin, and am always on the hunt for more, so this product was right up my alley. It is packaged in a cute white and pink tube which is pretty easy to open/close and easy to control the amount of product that comes out. The smell is a natural sort of herby and fresh kind of smell which I didn’t find too unpleasant. I found I didn’t need too much product to cover my whole face. The cleanser applies really smoothly, however doesn’t really foam up or anything but I didn’t mind that. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry, tight or stripped of nutrients, which I really liked. It was nice and gentle- my skin had absolutely no reactions whatsoever which was great! My skin felt clean, smooth and fresh after using this. I did find that my skin has become clearer and less red after using this for four weeks. I don’t have particularly oily skin (mine is more dry), however at times it can get oily in the T-zone, which I had noticed kind of went away with using this cleanser. I have also had less breakouts since using this, I still got a few odd pimples here and there, but it was mostly controlled. For $15 it’s a pretty good cleanser and does it’s job well!

This one is a little bit harder to judge because I just don't usually use cleansers.

But it had super cute packaging and is a good size.

I have used this quite a few times and I just don't know if it does anything extra for my skin. With using all the other products I can't tell if it does anything more. I skipped it a few times to see if it changed and it didn't effect the other products or how my skin felt after. So it makes it hard to review. But I do like the way it foams up and all together my skin feels so much better.

I really liked this cleanser because it's just a basic gel face wash but it's thick, goes a long way and smells like herbs. It's described as a soap-free product but it still lathers up nicely despite this. I feel like it cleaned by skin well - effectivly washing off the day's grime. I used it in the morning and in the shower at night, before applying the serum and moisturiser, and it didn't dry my skin out. It's a very basic product but I mean how complicated can a gel cleanser get? The packaging is super cute and feels nice to handle. Overall I am happy with this product and will continue to use it.

This comes in conveniently sized tub. It is a clear consistency, and has a herbal smell. It doesn't foam very well, and doesn't seem to remove makeup very well. I found that it helped to remove surface oil and did an okay job at cleaning.

It's a good cleanser but by no means amazing. I would use again, but wouldn't rush to repurchase

I don't think the Essano Clear Complexion range had a fragrance at all maybe slightly medicinal?

She said her skin felt smooth and clean , no tightness and her skin looks great!

She said it had a very mild bubbling action but the bubbles dissappeared quickly. She used a 20c coin sized squirt

Rinsing clean , no residue at all. Aleyah has really enjoyed using these products and recommends them to her friends.

I received this in a goodie box from hoyts. It was one of their girl's night promotions and man am I ever so thankful I did!

I had been trailing a other cleanser over a w week period and my skin was in the worst condition after using it. Naturally I stopped using it and gave this one a go in hopes it'd clear my skin up and help stop any further break outs. Well what do you know?! It did!

First week of use I noticed my skin was left feeling smooth and hydrated by the second week my spots and blemishes had started to dissaper. By week three my skin had completely healed. By week 4 I had ran out haha.

Did I repurchase? You bet ya I did! Not for the fact that it just cleared my blemishes but I also noticed a slight glow and the texture to my face had really reduced significantly.

The gel or self is clear it's not super thick but there is a thickness to it which is nice. It matters easily and feels amazing on the skin. I had no irritation what so ever which is a massive bonus if you have sensitive skin like myself.

For $15 at your local supermarkets this is an affordable and great performing gel cleanser.

I love how this range is organic. The packaging is so cute!

I also find that it’s handy having the bottle upside down as you don’t need to force the product to the other end.

It’s quite a thick gel almost but once you start to massage it into your skin it foams slightly.

It doesn’t have a strong smell to it which is good as some perfumes can irritate my skin. I feel like my skin is squeaky clean after I use this. It’s also great at removing make up!!

A little goes a very long way and it’s quite easy to accidentally squeeze too much out
