One of the best cleanser that I have used. I must say when I got this I was a bit sceptical as my skin is really "choosy" when it comes to skin care. It made my skin feeling moist and fresh. Plus side? the make-up is easy to remove! Such a shame though for a 30 ml its a bit pricey for me.

My skin is combination, and I find this cleanser to be very gentle and removes all traces of make up. It's very creamy and I find I only need to use a little amount which easily spreads once it's mixed with water. It changes to a gentle foam, and easily applies to my face. I find it great for getting rid of foundation, but prefer to use a specific eye cleanser for my eye area.
Overall this is a brilliant cleanser - it removes makeup, doesn't dry out your skin and has an incredibly rich texture - super thick and creamy it's actually hard to squeeze it out of the tube - this makes it very economical and for the $45 or so you pay for this I would easily get 8-10 months of use out of one of these. Downfall for me is that this is incredibly stinging on my eyes, it might just be me as I have very sensitive eyes when it comes to cleansers but I cannot use it anymore for this reason. Quite often these come in a handy travel size with Clinique gift-times and they last a really long time due to the concentrated nature of the product. Otherwise a great cleanser!
If you have read any of my other reviews for Clinique products you will know I'm probably one of their biggest fans! There skincare just seems to suit my skin type. Not to mention they are very effective and seem to be a leader in the products that they bring out. I can't say I've been disappointed in any Clinique products as yet!
So, as you can imagine I had high hopes for this cleanser I got in a gift with purchase promotion. I have already tried their take the day off balm and makeup remover, so it was very exciting to try this foaming cleanser.
The packaging is distinctively Clinique, in its stylish white tube, with green cap and Clinique emblazed over it. The packaging looks high end and classy.
The formula is white and creamy. I put a small amount in my hand and some water, it foams up well and you can easily massage your makeup away. It doesn't leave my skin tight and dry, like other cleansers can.
The cleanser is very effective in taking off long wearing foundation and stubborn makeup. I still tend to use a separate Clinique take the day off remover for my eyes, as the foaming cleanser slightly stung my eyes. But apart from that, this cleanser is lovely.
After cleansing my skin feels soft and supple. I love how this cleanser seems perfect for my dry, sometimes reactive skin.
Clinique have made another great product here, which I will definitely recommend and repurchase in the future.
Tips: This is a nice cleanser, but I still prefer my holy grail 'Clinique take the day off cleansing balm', because it does everything and there's no need for a separate eye makeup remover.
This pops out a foam from a tube, you don't need much about the size of a pea. The foam feels light and when mixed with water spreads easily over the face. It cleans gently as there is no additional exfoliant. For me it cleans well, once rinsed off there is no tightness, a too clean feeling, or the feeling "is still cleanser on it?" For the amount you need to use, a tube will last a while with it. When I have been lazy and not cleaned my make up off first, it does remove it as well I only do this on non mascara days though. There is no noticeable scent in this.
Would I buy again, yes I would as it does a good job but I would look at it more if there was a bonus time on.
I was lucky to recieve this foaming cleanser included in a gift with purchase and I do love cleansers so I was excited to give this one a try.
During the day I wear a full face of make up and as I have gotten older my skin has become more normal as opposed to oily as it was when I was a bit younger.
It comes in a 30ml tube and will cost you around $43.00. It sounds a lot but I found you only needed a small amount so it would work out quite a good buy. I held out great hopes for this cleanser and I was mostly pleased with the results.
I squeezed a small amount onto my wet hands and started to massage it into my face. It felt soft and the foam was almost luxurious. I found it struggled with eye make up so I resorted to using a seperate eye make up remover. For the rest of my make up I found it worked really well.
I do enjoy using this cleanser however I do prefer one that can do it all.
Tips: If you dont use a lot of eye make up you might find this cleanser great for you.
OK, I really love Clinique's Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser! The first time I used it I thought the creamy texture was a little strange but now this is the point of difference for me between this and other cleansers that I use. That little bit of luxury to my cleansing routine.
This cleanser kind of lathers into a creamy and silky smooth light lotion on the skin. It removes all dirt and make-up very well and with just a little product. It has a lovely smell and leaves my skin feeling super clean without being dry.
This is a great cleanser that I would recommend to everyone. It is a little on the expensive side but well worth it.
Tips: Only a little is needed.
I've used up a couple of 30ml sample tubes of this cleanser now. I generally enjoy most Clinique items but as they are more expensive I usually only buy the little sample kits they have. 30mls is definitely enough to last for a while and get a good feel of the product.
This is called a foaming mousse and I feel like that is very accurate. It's a soft feeling, white kind of lotion that foams up really well. I know foam isn't always the best thing but I honestly feel like they do a better job of cleansing compared to a non foaming cleanser. You only need a small amount as a little goes a long way. This doesn't have any offensive or perfumed scent. It just has a basic sort of cleanser scent if that makes sense.
I never used it with heavy foundation but it did a good job for just the usual bb cream removal. Maybe heavier products would just need a bit more working in when you cleanse but I think this would be heavy duty enough to remove it too. I have very dry skin and this didn't make it tight and even more dry. I also have issues with my skin breaking out with a lot of products and I don't think this did that for me (sometimes it's hard to pinpoint what is causing my issues, my skin has been terrible for a while now).
I'd use this again in the future and definitely recommend it. Especially if you can pick up the little trial packs. They can be such good value and a great way to try out some more expensive products!
Clinique's Rinse Off Foaming Cleanser is a powerhouse product. I received a couple of these as part of a recent GWP allowing me to test out one of Clinique's cleansers I've yet to currently try.
Most foaming cleansers I have tried have been the liquid pump type but this product is a rich cream cleanser which comes in a squeeze tube. It's easy-to-use packaging but does mean it's also very easy to squeeze out too much product. The cleanser is very thick and creamy and you really only need a small amount. I apply this with wet hands to my face then splash a little more water on and work it in to get it foaming. If you overdo it and apply it too thick it can take a bit to wash off!
I generally wear a full face of makeup, and will normally use a separate makeup remover first but when having a lazy moment this removes facial makeup pretty well.
I also have acne-prone, reactive skin and normally use Clinique's Antiblemish cleanser, but this doesn't set my skin off and leaves it feeling clean but not overtight like some cleansers do.
Would I purchase it again? Probably not, the price-tag is quite a lot for a product that is good but not a standout. I might purchase it as part of a set or if it was on special though.
Tips: You only need a small amount of this.
I used this a few times to make sure I wasn't having just a one-off bad experience.
The texture of this is quite creamy, and there's just something about it that makes it look 'silvery'. I can't explain it very well, but it's one of those 'shiny' products.
I washed my face with this and every time, my face felt really, really tight like someone was pulling on the skin. And then it made my nose go drier than the Sahara! It took a little bit to turn it in to a lather too, so not sure if that has something to do with it.
I guess my skin just doesn't like this product. Which is a shame, I liked that the smell wasn't that strong, but it's just not right for me.
