First impressions, simple sophisticated packing and cute little pottle. A little goes a long way. I first decided to try this after having a hot shower, it made my skin smell amazing. Slightly greasy at first but absorbed into my skin easily after I massaged it in. I suffer from quite dry skin in winter and this was the best moisturiser/balm that has worked! Only downside I found was it was too oily for my face but that's probably due to my combination skin. Also I've found it helps with the healing process with scars and scrapes.

Tips: Works a treat on dry elbows and knees
The first thing you notice when you open the jar is the overwhelming scent of coconut and botanicals. A really beautiful scent. So far I have mostly used the balm as a moisturiser and hand cream. It is very hydrating and the scent lingers long after it has been applied. The balm can be used for many purposes so I am looking forward to trying out all the other uses for it.
Tips: Warm it up with your hands before using it as a mousturiser
Awesome product! Loved the consistency and the scent is amazing. It smells and feels natural. Easy to apply and rubs in nicely. You only need to use a tiny amount and feels super moisturizing on my skin without an oily feeling. Loved to use it on the back of hands the most as it keeps them feeling smooth and hydrated throughout the day.
Tips: Less is more.
Very nice product, you get a lot of product in such a small container, its very oily - yet isn't greasy, It didn't make my hands/fingers greasy when scooping and applying it, it worked wonders for my lips! which are very dry, i liked it on my skin - i didn't notice any changes with using this on my skin, but it still felt nice and refreshing, i think its a great product to try and use as its so versatile
Tips: You need to use a good amount, as a little doesn't go a long way with this product.
I like the packaging. It's quite compact so it doesn't take up any room - but the product just wasn't for me. I used it on a fresh clean face and dry lips and I found it made my skin itchy and dried out my lips even more. However, my partner used it as an after shave and thinks its brilliant. He suffered from really bad ingrown facial hair rashes. After using the product twice a day for 2days his rash was dramatically clearer. He isn't a fan of the scent as it is quite a strong floral - lavender scent but the product worked wonders for him. It left his skin smooth, soft and clear and will definitely continue to use it on a regular basis.
I love this product. First day of trialling it and my skin felt amazing. All winter I've had really bad itchy dry skin around my nose and nothing has helped...until I tried Lakoko. Soft smooth skin and it smells so good. Would definitely recommend this for all those who need a pick me up for their skin this winter.
This has to be one of the BEST multipurpose balms I have ever used. It has a beautiful, natural and subtle scent which doesn't linger or clash with any of your usual beauty products or perfumes. I was sceptical given it was recommended for your face and body and hair and lips but I tell you what - it works brilliantly across all! It is perfect under makeup as it isn't oily. Its best used after a shower for your body as it absorbs and feels amazing. When it comes to your hair put it in the night before your next morning wash.
A little goes a long way, it does what it says and more. I don't think my beauty bag will be without this little treasure!
Tips: Perfect under makeup, it isn't greasy which is surprising. Great for your lips and under lippy. Treat your skin after a hot shower and watch it absorb! Hair - put it in the night before you wash as it can cause some build up - personally I didn't notice a huge difference but all in all it is AMAZING!!
nice pleasant smell.this is a solid balm to touch, which melts with body heat.I used after dipilating and it did leave my skin less irrated and smooth.I probaly wouldnt use again as it left a greasey feeling on skin and took a long time to absorb.I used on the back of my hands they felt smoother but didnot look less aged.
Tips: if using on hands you need time to allow the product to absorb.
As someone who has combination skin and frequently gets blemishes, I was sceptical of the idea that oil based products such as this could actually work for me.
Having used this product for a week or so, I have begun to understand the hype. I used it last thing at night after thoroughly cleansing. A little goes a long way, the balm is quite hard but melts as you apply it. By morning it had nearly all absorbed and I found that my skin felt better than normal after cleansing - not so tight.
The main attraction for me was the smell of this product. It contains lavender, which aside from smelling wonderful, helps you drift off to sleep.
Tips: Apply sparingly or you may feel like an oil spill. Apply at night. The smell is quite strong and can irritate your eyes if they are sensitive to such things, so I would recommend steering clear of the eye area when applying.
The Lakoko balm was one of the most hydrating products I have used on my constantly dry lips. Unlike other chapsticks, my lips felt hydrated for a good 1-2 hours before requiring re-application. Although I solely used it as a lip balm, it can also be used on the face, body, and hair. What put me off this product was the taste that I acquired in my mouth using it as a lip balm - not very pleasant at all! Would I buy this product? Although it worked well, at $25/30 mL for a product that left an unpleasant taste in my mouth I probably wouldn't.
