Garnier Skin Active Vitamin C Jelly Daily Moisturising Cream

I did enjoy this moisturiser, however, I prefer something more thicker during the winter months. It is hydrating, but I just prefer a more cream like moisturiser when it’s colder.

This is something I would use in summer, and would keep it in the fridge, for a more cooling effect. However, the only real negative with this is there is no SPF in it! So I only use this at night, as I don’t like to use too many products during the day. Overall, great product, just make sure you use an SPF as well, if wearing during the day.

I did enjoy using this product. Firstly it being a jelly rather then your traditional cream moisturiser was cool, something different. It applied nicely, skin feels super smooth afterwards and it did leave my skin looking healthy and glowing. After 20 mins or so I felt my skin wasn't feeling as hydrated as I would like after using a moisturiser. My skin didn't really have that recently applied moisturiser look to it . it didnt leave me with that tight feeling at all just felt I needed a wee bit more hydration from it. Applys nicely, massages well into skin. Skin still looked great once applied, did have a suttle glow. Nice simple packaging, no strong scent. Lovely product that i do enjoy using but it's maybe not quite the right fit for my skin. I do have normal/combo skin. I still would recommend this product if your looking for a new brightening moisturiser.

It was very lightweight and easy to put on. It absorbed quickly. But it left a sticky residue that I didn't like. It stayed tacky for about an hour. I didn't notice any change in my skin over the period of time that I used it. The smell was fruity and was a bit overpowering. I am sensitive to smell, and my nose would get very itchy once applied.

Cannot believe how quickly this absorbs into the skin. Love the smoothing glowing effect. Doesn’t feel sticky.

Loved the box packaging it came in very attractive on the eye. The little glass jar had a screw lid was also appealing to the eye.

I was amazed at how well this Vitamin C Jelly Daily Moisturising Cream moisturised my skin. The first night I used it I used the Vitamin C Gel wash, which i was also trialling. I applied a bit too much of the Jelly, but the jelly was easily spread and it soaked in quickly which was great and my skin felt soft after ( like glass). It also has a pleasant smell defintely not strong.

The next morning my skin felt hydrated & very soft and still hydrated

I have previously used another more expensive brand of gel and i have to say it was nowhere near as good as this. I am so impressed with this Jelly.

I applied it every morning & evening to my face, neck & declotage.

This is defintely a keeper for me as I have been searching for a great moisturiser but finally found one that moisturises brilliantly, makes my skin soft, (I couldn't stop touching it lol) and doesn't irritate my skin. My complexion is brighter has a nice glow and works great with my Revitalift Vit C Serum which I also like.

Vitamin C has been a game changer for my skin as I did my research and it's highly recommended.

I highly recommend this jelly to anybody with Sensitive dry skin as it's certainly sorted mine out. This is all I need and has replaced my regular moisturiser.

Using the gel wash & this jelly moisturiser, i noticed the lines on my declotage have reduced which is awesome.

I did price check at the supermarkets etc and it is quite pricey for the small size of the jar which was a negative for me. I've nearly used a whole jar in 3 weeks!

I will wait until it's on "special" to repurchase.

I love this product! Its so refreshing and cooling to use after cleansing. It works great under makeup too adding a hydrating layer to your skin. I felt my skin felt very smooth and i had no issues with breakouts after using this for a few weeks, definitely would repurchase this again.

I was really keen to try this, as I've had wonderful results with Vitamin C products on my skin before and I've never used a water jelly moisturiser. Like most of the Garnier products I've tried in the past, this water jelly moisturiser is highly scented with Garnier's signature smell.

The Vitamin C water jelly cream is really soothing on the skin. It does absorb quickly, although I didn't feel it retained much hydration and if I used it as a night cream, my skin felt incredibly oily the next morning. This product is designed for use on normal to oily/combination skin.

I almost feel like Garnier skipped a step and that they should have added a serum to this skincare range, as a serum would provide more moisture and boost the water jelly. Sadly, I didn't notice any difference or brightening in my skin tone.

I would recommend it to friends if they're looking for a soothing moisturiser and don't have sensitive skin.

There were plenty of things I did like about this Vit C Moisturiser - the smell was quite light and refreshing, it absorbs quickly into the skin, and I do like the luxurious glass packaging it comes in.

The texture is the main part I had an issue with. It wasn't necessarily bad, just not really what I want from a daily moisturiser. I love creamy velvety textures, and this is quite a firm jelly. It reminded me a lot of aloe vera gel you'd coat yourself in after getting sunburnt, which just isn't that nice an experience to apply. I also don't think this did anything in regards to brightening or reducing dullness in my skin.

That being said, it is an affordable option, and if you can get on board with jelly texture it would be a great addition to anyone's routine - just not for me!

I have sensitive mature uneven skin. I have used the Garnier Skin Active Vitamin C Jelly Daily Moisturising Cream for a few weeks.

This cream has the consistency of jelly. The 50ml jar is the regular size and is easy to open. The jelly leaves a fresh feeling when applying on the skin. However, it leaves my skin slightly "sticky" and some pimples developed on my chin. My skin didn't stay hydrated for 48 hours either. This is not a product that suits my skin.

Garnier is working nicely towards sustainability. The packaging as well as the jar can be recycled.

Its price below $30 is reasonable.

As a preface: I have post-partum, combination skin with occasional breakouts, fine lines and hyperpigmentation. I have been using Ethique's range to reduce plastic consumption and to avoid sulfates as much as I can.

I always love a gel moisturiser - I feel it's the perfect texture for my skin and for under makeup as it never moves the base in any way. One surprising bonus about this product is that it leaves a slight stickiness which is so useful as a gripping primer under makeup. I've used this consistently on makeup and non-makeup days for 2-3 weeks now and I am really enjoying it.

I can't say it's helping with hyperpigmentation at all, but with or without makeup, it's such a great product for quick absorption and slight mattifying properties. Also love that it's in a glass jar - although I will always choose a moisturiser that I do not have to put my fingers into.

As with all Garnier products, this has a strong scent so if you are adverse to fragrance, avoid.
