Thank you beauty review for allowing me to trial this product full stop I have suffered from dry flaky cuticles and weak brittle nails for as long as I can remember so I was very excited to get started with this.
The packaging of the typical nail polish bottle. I do like the brush however as it is slightly bigger. This product is a nourishing oil there for the consistency is like oil and The Scent is a little bit like a natural oil scent if that makes sense.
To use this product you simply apply to your cuticles and massaging for one minute. You can apply as often as you like.
I feel like this and nourishing oil has definitely helped to make my cuticles look more fresh. They aren't as dry looking as they used to be and they look a lot healthier you now so I will definitely continue to use this product and would highly recommend it.
After being sent the product to trial alongside the Retivanail Nail Strengthener, I followed the instructions and applied it once a day after letting the Strengthener dry.
It felt nice going on, it made my cuticles shiny however wasn’t overly greasy which was nice. It was easy to apply, and I love that a little goes a long way so it will last a super long time. I found the brush wasn’t too stiff or anything, so it was easy enough to apply. At $17 RRP though? No, I definitely wouldn’t repurchase. It felt and looked nourishing going on, but my cuticles look like they are in exactly the same condition they were at the beginning of the trial - they are still torn on some of my nails, and quite rough. I was applying the oil almost everyday, so it is quite disappointing to not see a noticeable result. Maybe I needed to apply a lot more?
I will continue to use it and I hope there is a change. However, since I’m used to applying a cuticle oil daily now, I’ll probably start using a couple of other cuticle oils I have received in the past (but didn’t get into the habit of using) instead to see if they make a noticeable difference. I feel like there is probably a much better alternative out there that probably comes at a better price point - potentially even a nice hand cream might give better results, plus be multi purpose!
