I love a good lush bath and this one didn’t fail to excite and entertain me. Think that this was a limited seasonal release but I have had it tucked away in my bath bomb box (that is right I have a hatbox full of bath bombs lol) which I used a few weeks ago.
Packaging as with Lush’s products there is no such thing as all are wrapped upon purchase and have no official packaging to say of.
This fat ball of delight caught me by sniff not sight as I purchased it while in Christchurch, well I purchased 2 and used one while staying there and the other went into the box for a later date. It has a strong vanilla and lavender scent that is a little bit sherbet and reminds me a lot of my all-time favourite Lush product Twilight. Two toned with a pink purple bottom and a white snowy top, studded with a holly arrange and discs of multiple coloured spots around it’s middle it is a bright and fun bomb. Once this bad boy hits the water filled bath though it is another level of enjoyment, as it dances around the water spiralling from the fizz erupting from it, ejecting out streams of inky blue, and neon oranges, then hot pink and vivid green. Turning the water into a mirage of rainbow shades, as the bomb breaks down those discs act like individual bombs and several of them interact with each other as they are propelled around by the power of the fizz. It is quite hard to actually get into the bath as the artwork they create is so pretty and serene.
Once every bit has played its part and settled down the colour slowly merges into a deep pink the longer you stay in the bath. If you are like me that is a while especially when the scent is heighten by being exploded around in the water. It’s very heady but relaxing and helps you unwind. Added bonus of Lush bath bombs and which is the case with this lush pud is that once out of the water your skin feels soften and silky. This bomb never left a film of colour sludge around the tub either which has happened with the occasionally bath bomb.
I got seriously addicted to this bath bomb when it came out in the Mid winter Christmas release, And now it's back I'm addicted again. The presentation of this bath bomb would almost be my favourite out of all lush bath bombs, half white and half bright pink, with big polka dots all over and a small Christmas Holly decoration on top.
If the look of the bath bomb wasn't enough already the scent of this beauty knocks socks off. It is a lot like Lush's twilight bath bomb but the scent is a lot more intense, So when I want a relaxing bath this almost puts me in a coma. The scent is very lavender and ylang ylang it fills the whole bathroom with the relaxing and calming scent.
As it fizzes and bubbles around the bath it foams bright pink, blue and a splash of green and yellow. It turns the bath a very pale shade of pink, the polka dots float to the surface and eventually I get sick of the soggy slimy looking pieces and take them out.
This is my go to bath bomb when I'm feeling stressed and need to calm the farm. The scent lingers on my skin for an hour and then I'm usually in la la land. Love love love lush pud!
