Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater Review

This product was something I had seen online, and heard about.. but I had never considered buying it untill I received it as part of a GWP, and i kind of fell in love.

I got a 80ml bottle, which is a sligtly frosted plastic bottle, with a see though cap, and a white plastic spray nozzle. The bottle has a simple white label. Nothing impressive, the packaging is very basic and simple.

The facial spray is a brown with a slight pinky tone to it, and is the consistency of water and of course it has a rose scent. I have to admit, I am not a fan of rose scented products because i feel like most products can only produce a really fake rose smell which just smells sickly to me, but this product has nailed it to a T. The smell of rose is definitely there, but its not fake or over powering. It just smells lovely.

The cheap looking nozzle is really efficient and sprays the water really finely, like a mist which I really like as well.

The reason i love this spray is because it makes my skin feel so good. I took it travelling with me, and it gave my skin a hydrating spritz when i needed it. Plus when my face gets hot or flustered, its a quite way to cool my skin down, and to feel refreshed.

I'm not sure how much this actually costs, but I don't care because i would repurchase this in a heartbeat. I have been using this a couple times a day for the last month, and the bottle still looks full! I am very impressed.

I picked this up from Mecca a wee while ago because of the hype surrounding it. Unfortunately the only thing I liked about it was the price. Don’t get me wrong, it is ok but it’s just not worth the hype. It didn’t add any hydration to my skin, and every spritz would leave little water droplets on my face and I just wasn’t a fan. It’s lovely if you just need a freshen up during the hot summer days but that’s pretty much it.

I love using this after i've washed my face as a toner but before i've put on moisturizer. Gives my skin a nice hit of moisture before I layer my skincare on top. I've noticed an improvement on my dry patches since i've been doing this!

I plan to take a smaller bottle with my flying just to spritz on my face to keep it hydrated!

So I brought this on beauty bay after seeing Carli Bybel rave about. It was quite cheap and I brought a few this from the Mario range that came to around $110nz, which I think is great for good quality products. First of all, let me talk about the scent. I love rose scents, but it can't be that sickly gross fake rose smell, it needs to be a nice subtle rose smell, which this product nails. It's so refreshing the smell. I use this product as my make up setting spray and find it helps my make up last all day. I've never really been into setting sprays but I actually love how good this sets my make up for the day. I only ever wear matte foundations and I love how this product gives me a nice light dewy look, while still looking matte (if that makes sense). It is very hydrating and refreshing and is something I am definitely repurchasing, along with my other Mario products that I have purchased. I have been using Mario products for years and I am onto my 15+ bottle of this - it's one of my holy grails! I use this to spray my face when I wake up, to set my makeup or to just refresh my skin. I love this stuff so much and the best part is how inexpensive it is!

After seeing this at Mecca as one of the best sellers for Mario Badescu i thought i would give it a try. I love it! I went through a bottle pretty quickly, it lasted about 2 months (but that was me spraying multiple times a day). I think it is also a pretty reasonable price so i have super happy to purchase again :) As i bought it in summer, i used it alot to refresh my face during the day. I also used it to set my makeup after i had put it on. I have quite dry skin so i love that this is so easy to spray on for quick hydration :)

A lot of hype around this product, and I don't know why. I've used a fair share of facial sprays, and this is one I wouldn't repurchase. I don't think it did too much at all. It's soothing, and smells nice, but that's about it. In the way of hydration, it doesn't offer a lot. Only momentarily takes away the dry and tight feeling. Maybe this would be better suited to an oiler skin type as the hydration offered is limited.

The Mario Badescu Facial Spray is a lovely, refreshing spray that is good to use as a nice, feel-good part of your beauty routine. I saw it all over the internet so had to give it a go. I found the spray bottle itself great to use, I know some ladies have had issues with it but I found it to be totally fine. The spray smells lovely and refreshing, even my partner complimented me on it which is a rare thing! It leaves the skin feeling soft, fresh, and moisturised. The only reason why I haven't made this a staple in my beauty routine is because overall I didn't notice a difference in my skin condition compared to when I just used cleanser and moisturiser. For me a product has to really make a clear difference to be included in my regime as a regular go-to. However I would recommend as a refreshing, lovely spray, especially when the weather's warmer!

For something so simple this product is just delish!! I purchased this product off Mecca before I’d even known that everyone raves about it and I definitely was not disappointed!!

Packaging is so simple and the cost is so cheap. The rose scent is not overwhelming but just perfect and the spritz is a perfect fine mist.

It made my skin just feel amazing while travelling, in Fiji in the humid heat, and at home when I feel my face turning in to the tight dry mess it does a spritz of this product and everything is feeling good again.

I actually can’t recommend this product enough!! It is amazing and it won’t disappoint.

I've been using this for a few years now as an extra hydration boost for my skin. This smells lovely and clean, it doesn't have a lingering or overpowering scent which is what I like as I'm popping it on top of my day and night creams. These sprays are so nice to use in Summer as a refresher for your skin - a few spritzes across the face and neck help cool you down and stop your makeup from looking separated when its hot.
