I absolutely love this lip balm, I have tried the other light blue and dark blue ones and found this one is more moisturising. I get quite dry and chapped lips so often i find other lip balms don't stay on very long or make my lips feel more dry after it wears off. With Nivea Repair and Protect, it's the complete opposite. It has a really nice thickness to it when you put it on and is really moisturising. I always use it before i go to bed and wake up with a new softness to my lips. Cant live without it!!

This Nivea lip balm is inexpensive with a mild fragrance. The SPF 15 is a bonus. It comes in a handy white and blue wind-up tube. It does moisturise my lips to a certain extent, but I find that it wears off pretty quickly. I like to use gloss or balm over my lipstick and I find that I have to rub this stick quite hard on my lips to get any off onto my lips which spoils my lipstick a bit. I will not purchase this again because I prefer the Nivea lip gloss in a little tin.
Tips: Use at night for an overnight lip treatment.
I bought this lip balm from Countdown for $5.99. I like Nivea products and use tons of lip balms, so was keen to try this one.
It comes in a white plastic tube like a lipstick and is easy to use.
The product is soft and waxy and looks like a solid wax in the tube.It has no discernible scent or taste.
It claims to effectively soothe and moisturise dry chapped lips leaving them smooth soft and well protected. Mine weren't chapped but they were dry. I've been using it a lot lately as I've been outside walking heaps, and I find it meets it's claims very well. It is soft and moisturising, and does soothe and protect. It starts off feeling a little greasy but isn't tacky or sticky like waxy lip balms can be.
I really like it and recommend it to others.
Tips: Keep one in your bag to carry around with you.
I picked up this lip balm on one my outings to the store. I normally pick lip balm mainly for hydration. My lips get dry a lot in winter and summer. I'm a fan of certain products from Nivea. I looked forward to trying this.
This lip balm comes in a white tube. Labelling is clear. The consistency of this is a white solid wax. Texture of this is smooth somewhat similar to petroleum jelly. I didn't notice a particular scent with this.
With application I found this simple to apply and wear. I noticed that I needed to keep applying this multiple times during the day . I have badly cracked lips and it definately did not repair them. It did hydrate them temporarily during the time that the lip balm was on my lips.
After trying this I believe it is affordable. It wasn't very good at repairing my lips. One lip balm lasted me a few months . I most likely wouldn't repurchase this particular one again.
I happily took this off my brother's hands because he had left it sitting unopened forever and I needed a lip balm until my lip balm order arrived.
Now I have used Nivea for years, but never this particular one because the packaging didn't inspire me. However, for someone like my brother it was ideal because it didn't look specifically feminine.
As a lip balm I didn't find it particularly long lasting, which was interesting given its claim to treat lips overnight.
It did however maintain my lips. I've used lots of lip balms I didn't notice any difference in my lips when using this lip balm instead. So overall I can conclude that it does the job.
Having a lip balm with SPF in my handbag is a must have, especially for those occasions when we stop off somewhere for a spontaneous walk on the beach.
There's nothing worse than dry, chapped, sunburnt or wind-burned lips, and this lip balm gives us the protection we need. It's slightly thicker than the rest of the Nivea lip balm range, probably due to the added sunscreen, but its not so thick that its uncomfortable (unless too much has been applied).
Tips: Keep a tube in a handbag or beach bag.
I'd like to start by saying that I really enjoy the packaging on this range of Nivea lip balms, they twist up and down in one fluid motion so if you want to check how much you have left in there it won't get stuck or break like some other forms of balms. I've always been a fan of the original in the light blue tube (or tub) but this one just didn't do much for me. I put lip balm on 24/7 unless I have something else on my lips so this got used up in a few weeks. I felt like it didn't do anything to moisturize my lips and didn't do anything to stop them from getting drier either. I felt like it was a total waste of time and effort even applying this. Honestly there's not much else I can say about it aside from the fact that the only upside is that it has SPF in it.
I picked up this lip balm from my local Pak n Save. I get very dry lips and out of the nivea range this is my go to. Its a bit of a firmer lip balm than the others, it is clear and unscented which I like. Whilst I can't say its the most amazing lip balm on the planet, it is moisturizing and makes my lips feel nice. It also helps them recover when they split. The only negative thing I have to say is I keep loosing the damn thing! Perfect for winter when the cold and wind reeks havoc on the lips.
I purchased this on special for $3.50 at Countdown. I feel it wears off my lips very quickly and is not enough to soothe them when they are chapped. I have definately used much better and would not purchase again.
I'm a Carmex devotee now, but have used this in the past. I find after awhile it stops working and becomes slightly drying, but it works well as a back up to throw in your handbag!
Tips: Don't leave in the sun - it will melt!
