I was lucky enough to be friends with someone who worked at Scully's. She gifted me this one Christmas, as well as some Lavender hand cream.
I am not one to look after my cuticles whatsoever, but have never had any issues with them. I used this more to moisturise my hands and nails as they are consistently dry.
First of all, this comes in a gorgeous radiant blue glass bottle that reminds me of stained glass windows. The way Scully's package all of their products reminds me of something you would have seen in an apothecary. It really draws me in.
The smell of this is really beautiful and fresh - it smells like a mix of lavender and lemon to me. The oil itself is really soothing and you need only a small amount.
What I like to do is work this in my nail beds and cuticle area (even though my cuticles have never been problematic). Then I like to massage the oil into my hands until it's all absorbed. This leaves my hands feeling super soft and hydrated, and my nails nourished.
I still have a lot of this left as I don't use it often, so I am not in any rush to purchase it, but I will be buying it when the bottle I have runs out.
This would make a beautiful gift to someone for their birthday or Christmas.
I picked this up on a whim while I was at the pharmacy. As with all Scullys products this one deeps what it says on the tin. It feels lovely on my hands and my cuticles look great. The scent is gorge too. The only reason I dropped a point for this product is that I feel you could pay less for equivalent products from other brands.
Tips: Take your time. This feels glorious when applied slowly and deliberately - leaves your hands feeling like they’ve been to a day spa.
