I'm pretty picky about lip balm, but this was a yummy one. Cruelty free and vegan, it comes in a range of yummy flavours. Mine was Banana Split. This was the right mix of moisturising ingredients so it wasn't too heavy on your lips, but didn't disappear in 10 minutes either. This was a lovely sweet treat for my lips, providing a bit of yummy 'self care' any time of day or night.

When it went on your lips the balm felt grainy and it didn’t leave a smooth feeling. The balm only lasted about 10 minutes before washing off. You couldn’t taste the flavour whatsoever only smell it. After a while of being in my bag lost of gross dust and hairs somehow got into the balm as well which wasn’t nice.
I had heard such good things about crazy rumors lip balms so decided to add one to my iherb order. It cost around $5. They come in a standard lip balm wind up tube and the colours are quite drab looking.
I got it in Mocha so was expecting a delicious scent but unfortunately it was quite bad. It smelt really fake and sickly. When I applied it to my lips it was so gritty and the texture was not creamy and pleasant at all. Big letdown.
I tried warming it up but it did not make much difference. The gritty odd texture is very off putting along with the terrible scent.
I don't know if I just got a dud lip balm or not but I would certainly not use this again. Definitely puts me off purchasing other flavours .
I have a tube in Amaretto, which has an almond scent. At first, it was pretty strong but I've since gotten used to it and now it's smells pretty delicious.
It is similar to a Hurraw balm, but a touch more "waxy" and doesn't feel as moisturising or nourishing. It is also fairly heavy, I can feel that there's a thick, waxy layer on my lips. I think I prefer Hurraw balms as my lips are soothed and less flaky after using those.
The packaging is pretty cute; it reminds me of vintage ice cream wrappers.
I will probably finish this tube and my other Chocolate Strawberry one I purchased from Cotton On, but I probably won't repurchase.
I love Crazy Rumors Lip Balms, I have these in a couple of flavours.
Okay, so as far as the tube it comes in, I'm not going to get you all excited, its just a standard lipbalm tube lol.
As for the texture, wow, it is so creamy and silky smooth, I can't stop rubbing my lips together. Its like taking a piece of satin and then wiping it on your lips, so good.
The fragrance/scent - is nice, I love anything mint and chocolate, its not over powering though which is a shame as I love it really minty and chocolatey, but this is a good thing for those that don't like it too strong. If you are expecting like a peppermint hershey's taste, sadly I will have to disappoint you. Although it smells great, it does smell like its an added flavour and not a pure flavour. That makes sense in my head ha ha ha.
Does it moisturise and hydrate my lips? Yes definitely and it doesn't rub off quickly like some lipbalms can. It has good staying power and I find I don't need to re-apply it all the time.
The formula is medium in the respect of it not being thick and gluggy but not watery and thin (hope that makes sense).
Would I buy this again? Yes although I would probably try a different flavour just because I get bored easy ha ha ha.
This came onto my radar when I saw the trial on BR, and I've since found it on iHerb for a decent price. I bought a few and I'm glad I did - but I didn't like them!
The tube was nice and the balm came out easily with the twisty bit. It smelled nice, and went onto my lips nicely but after 10 minutes I didn't really feel it on my lips.
I didn't really notice them tasting good, or doing anything spectacular, unfortunately. I wouldn't buy them again.
I bought this Apple Spice flavoured balm, as I only use natural lipbalms that are nurturing to the lips, and love interesting and exotic flavours. I LOVE the smell/taste (may not be everyones cup of tea though), reminds of an apple pie by a certain popular fast food chain ;)
This lipbalm WORKS. Unlike some lipbalms which begin a cycle of drying your lips out, Crazy Rumors really does moisturise and smooth your lips. It works well under lipstick too, not too greasy. I managed to convince my husband to try it, which has got to be the sign of a good lip balm too ;) The smell lingers just long enough but not over powering. Crazy Rumors are cruelty-free too, which is a big plus.
Tips: They have a great range of flavours available, check out Cotton on Body stores here, or look online. I paid around $5 to get one shipped from USA which is pretty standard for a lipbalm.
I first came across this lip balm when it was advertised I guess you could say, as a trial. Anyway it sounded rather yummy so I decided I needed to buy myself one, so I got one off iHerb when we were getting other things (it's not worth it otherwise).
The lip balm is natural, vegan and cruelty free which automatically won bonus points with me as particularly natural and cruelty free products are what I try to buy.
In terms of the balm itself, it was a solid balm that felt moisturising on the lips and really did smell like mint chocolate chip. Colourwise it was a pale yellowish colour but came out clear on the lips.
It lasts about as long as any other lip balm but is the best smelling and kindest lip balm I have ever had. I would look at buying it again, but it is a little pricer than most lip balms so it might have to be a treat lip balm.
I've also just discovered here that I can possibly buy it at Cotton On Body so I will be checking that out.
I was pretty happy overall with this lip balm - the taste and smell is pretty pleasant! Not too overpowering but enough to get the senses tingling :) I also love that it's full of natural ingredients, although do be aware if you are allergic to nuts as it contains macadamia nut oil (I only recently found out I am not allergic to macadamia, thank goodness!). I did find the texture a little gritty in some spots when using it, but it always left a smooth finish. Definitely kept my lips moisturised, which is perfect for the cold and dry Winter season.
I picked my lip balm up when I went into Cotton on . I needed something quick for my drying lips. I was shocked at how cheap this was .
This lip balm comes in a small container . It has the Crazy Rumours labelling going down one side . This consistency is smooth has a soft minty scent .
With application it feels smooth like a balm with minty flavour and scent . My lips feel hydrated temporarily. You do need to top up as your going.
Overall I wasn’t wowed but it did the job ok . I’m not sure if I would repurchase this one at this stage .
