The good things: it is nice to use, no strong odours & only need a little to cover face. however, I didnt feel like my face really got cleaned - in fact after using I could remove more makeup/grime with my clean fingers. It was good to use after an exfoliant however. Nearly at the end of the container & I'll be buying something else next time

I purchased this from the supermarket to give it a try. I have sensitive skin and I thought this would be gentle enough. I love how creamy the formula is and its very affordable.
I have been using it for about 3 weeks now. I feel like it does give my skin a deep clean, however it leaves my skin feeling very tight which I don't like also sometimes it causes a bad skin reaction which can be very annoying. This may suit someone with normal skin. Anything other than sensitive. As I said previously it is quite creamy, gives a good deep cleanse, lasts for a long time and very affordable.
Tips: A little goes a long way- Use a small amount, Add a touch of water and foam it up!
I used this even before they changed the packaging (just saying) hahaha but seriously. Before my skin became trilogy only this was my go to. It is super cheap and does the job.
I especially liked how easy it was to remove my make up. Even if I was feeling super lazy and only used this my skin was better for it. Never sleep with your make up on was probably drummed very heavily into me.
If you are using this you need to also be using a moisturizer (I know, I know....most of you already know this but it wouldn't be a fair review if I didn't advise those who didn't) because it will leave your skin thirsty unlike cream cleasners (which is why I changed).
However if I needed to go back to a different cheaper one I only have two choices and this is one of them. I really, really do not have a good relationship with make up wipes so if you are also finding them a pain and harsh - just try this for two weeks your skin will feel better.
Tips: A good first cleanser - but make sure you follow up with a good moisturizer so your skin isn't left dry. Also becareful you close the lid on these - trust me x
I've tried my fair share of cleansers seems I have very spot and blackhead prone skin but this stuff has got to be the worst. Being dove I thought awesome it will be kind to my skin boy was I wrong. It burnt like hell in open spots and made my skin feel super super dry and tight after use. Thumbs down sorry dove. The plus was the texture smooth and creamy but wasn't right for my skin..
As always, I usually get bored with my products and would often want to try a new product to see if I'd like it better.
I tried this one since it was on sale and I have always like Dove's body care products. It smells nice and gentle to your nose. It lathers well and get rids of my make up. My skin feels refreshed and smooth after use. It didn't dry me out or anything. It is great for daily use and good for those with sensitive skin as well. I have combination skin with dry patches at the side of my nose and by using this stuff, it has vanished.
I highly recommend this product.
I bought this at Countdown when I ran out of y holy grail cleanser. (Michael Todd Honey and Oat)
The pros:
The packaging is nice and sleek, it has a good amount of product in it but because of how thin it is, it fits nicely into basically anything, making it great for travelling.
It lathers really nicely, it's not stripping and my face doesn't feel tight after using it.
There isn't much of a scent which is nice and a little does go a long way.
So onto the cons:
I have been using this for over 5 months now and I have not seen even the slightest improvement in terms of unclogging pores and giving my skin a "bounce".
I usually remove the bulk of my makeup off with a cleansing oil, olive oil, cleansing balm or makeup wipe but I got lazy one day and decided to use this cleanser to take it all off and it didn't work particularly well with my waterproof gel liner and mascara.
Also, if you are not careful, it does sting the eyes.
Overall, it's a good product but I don't think I'm going to rush out and buy it again when it runs out.
Tips: I recommend taking the bulk of your makeup off first before cleansing.
I recently bought Dove Facial Cleanser Deep Pure as I used a friends when I had a shower at her place.
It left my skin so soft and was so silky when applying and no intense scent.
Once I bought it for myself and was using once a day - my opinion changed.
Having quite bad skin (pimples, freckles, discolouration, oily) I need something that's going to do the trick.
This did not.
It made my skin feel soft, but it did not make my skin feel clean.
It made no improvement whatso ever to any problems. It left my skin dry and tight.
Very disappointed but I guess thats what you get with that cheap price you pay.
What a bargain! I paid $5 for this from Pak N Save and to be honest I didn't expect much from this cleanser, boy I was wrong! I really like the scent it smells so fresh. It has a really thick consistency which I like, so a little goes a long way making the product last a long time. It lathered pretty well and left my skin feeling great. It also didn't dry my skin out which I was afraid of. I find that it is very hard to open and close the lid which is a shame tho. I purchased this as a back up cleanser but have found myself using this daily as I like it more than my Natio cleanser because I love the fresh scent.
Tips: Make sure face is damp and follow with toner and moisturizer.
I was quite disappointed in this cleanser. It was really thick (too thick) and it had a really soapy feel to it which I didn't like at all, and it made my skin feel really dry and tight afterwards.
I really do love the Dove range but this didn't impress me and I wont buy it again
What can I say that we don't already know? It's a Dove product and Dove has never failed to help me feel "clean" or moisturised. It has a lush scent and I don't feel like I am tearing away all the important layers of skin by using this product, leaving a "soft non harsh feeling" I fresh and clean and Dove facial cleanser has become a part of my daily ritual. The packaging has recently changed and gives it a high end and neutral appeal to suit any bathroom. It's very affordable and a little goes a long way.
Tips: You only need a small amount as it goes a long way.
