Garnier Organics Lemongrass Moisturiser Reviews

This is my favourite moisturiser ever! It works really well and hydrates my combination skin while also being light enough to not break out my acne prone skin. I have been using this for about a year now and I love how thin and runny the formula is as it is so easy to spread and you don’t need too much so the small bottle still lasts a long time. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone with really dry or older skin as it is probably to light for that and also wouldn’t be good for anyone with issues with fragrance as it smells quite strong (quite a fresh smell though).

The packaging is all good. Looks attractive to be honest. Smell is ok not so appealing. The consistency is fine. I think it’s expensive for it’s size. I have dry to combination skin. When I apply this on my face my skin becomes extra dry and then it peels off like dead skin. White particles shedding within few mins. Never happened before with any moisturiser. I won’t ever buy it again and I don’t recommend it at all.

I go through moisturisers like there’s no tomorrow, yet I’ve had this one for ages now and it’s still half full, I don’t reach for it too often and also I can only use it on my days off when I don’t use foundation as it doesn’t work well with makeup, it rolls and it’s pretty gross. It goes well with powder foundations or setting powders only, which I sometimes do even just for home to blur out my pores and feel a little better about myself. My skin isn’t sensitive to scents, but my nose is and I really don’t like this lemongrass scent, reminds me of toilet cleaners/fresheners. It hydrates my face just enough for the day while also keeping the oils in control, gives like a matte but hydrated finish, which I quite like, my skin is nice and smooth when I use it. I haven’t noticed any long term changes, but I also don’t use it consistently. It doesn’t break me out, it’s just a standard moisturiser that I think would be more suitable for teenagers, or at least I think I would’ve liked it better back in the day as a teenager myself. :) I picked it up in the vault ages ago, but these are always on special in the supermarkets, so really affordable, I like how garnier went cruelty free and making changes to better, more natural ingredients, so will support them for sure, but I won’t be repurchasing this particular product.

I didn’t mind this moisturiser, it has an interesting texture runny gel rather than thick moisturisers which I tend to prefer. Has a very strong scent which I didn’t mind but this may deter some people. I found it left my skin tight but not dry.

I got this product from the beauty vault thanks so much xx unfortunately this moisturiser doesnt work for my skin. I love the lemongrass scent and the feeling when applying. Its a nice cooling gel cream and applys so smoothly. Unfortunately once applied i can feel it slightly tight on my skin and when i apply my foundation or even just rub my face the moisturiser flakes and peels and makes my skin look dry and scaley. It didnt seem to keep my skin hydrated for long. My skin type i would say is combination.

I picked this up in the Beauty Vault, thanks BR! I really wasn't expecting much and I don't often get excited over a facial moisturiser but boy do I love this!

It comes in a squeezy tube with a flip top lid, consistency wise it is definitely more of a semi thick gel. The scent is nice it smells refreshing. You don't need to use much as a little bit definitely goes a long way.

I have dry, sensitive skin and get breakouts so I have to be careful what I put on my face.  Well I'm happy to say that my face loves this! I have not experienced any stinging or irritation at all and it does not cause any pimples! Brilliant!

This leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. It is the perfect base for makeup and it doesn't make my skin go oily at all. I really do love this. It is not something I would have looked at in the supermarket and purchased so I am grateful for trying new things from the vault. I highly recommend this and will buy it again and again!

They had a great sale at new world on this I think it was 40% off so it’s definitely a bargain. That’s a huge positive. I grabbed this as I have pretty much run out of everything all at once and so in order to buy it all again or my more expensive favourites I have to stagger my purchases or buy cheaper alternatives.

This was a nice wee affordable buy to use to tie me over. I probably wouldn’t repurchase. But I will use it up.

My sensitive skin hasn’t reacted to this so another bonus yay.

It’s a slightly thick cream that applies well and does soften and smooth the skin leaving it briefly moisturised.. I would seek a longer lasting moisturiser in the future but given the price I can’t complain too much it does do what it says.. I do have other favourites though.

The scent was not for me it’s probably another reason I wouldn’t repurchase it’s not offensive but I do like a nice or at least neutral scented cream.

I will use it up but it’s a no repurchase from me. I feel it would be best suited to someone in their teens/20s.. my skin just needs a longer lasting moisturiser.

I picked this one up in one of my vault shops. I’ve finally just getting through my sukin three step system now on this beauty. I noticed the launch of this line through BR and on supermarket shelves.

Packing gives off that herbal vibe with green labelling and picture of the plant itself. Consistency light weight smooth . Packs a zesty lemongrass punch , I’m into strongly scented products doesn’t bother me at all .

I dab this on my skin to test it out. Sits fine. It absorbs effortlessly into my skin. What I like is it sits well as a base for my foundation that I wear daily to work .

Overall I did enjoy using this . Only problem for me is it won’t last me very long because the packaging is small . Thankfully I have another cream on stand by .

This moisturiser came with the facial oil and eye cream in the latest BBBE. I love getting whole regimes to try, and was keen to try this one.

The moisturiser comes in a 50ml tube with a pop top - no mess, no waste, simple to open and use. The product is more of a thick lotion than a cream, and has an odd scent - not unpleasant or pleasant. I guess that could be the lemon grass. It absorbs quickly and easily into my skin and leaves it feeling soft. I like that it is vegan and doesn't irritate the sensitive areas of my skin.

It is nice, but on a par with other moisturisers of this type. At $17 it is worth a try with the other products, but there are other moisturisers pretty similar.
