Manuka Honey Refreshing Facial Wash Review

​First impression: When I pumped it into my hand literal foam just spurted out. It’s been a long while since I’ve used foaming cleansers so it was quite surprising. It lathers up very satisfyingly, but does leave a very slight rubbery feeling, though definitely not as strong as if soap were used. I really like how you can see inside so you know how much product is left. Seeing as I've been using this every single morning (sometimes at night if I don't use my oil cleanser) for nearly 2 weeks now, one pump each time, I'd say it can probably last around 3 months.

Review: I think it does a decent job at cleansing. Not the best cleanser ever, but it does the job. I did notice though that after I cleansed I could actually see the pores on my cheeks which is a little alarming as usually mine aren't distinguishable. I also found my face contracted random whiteheads that did go away so I don't know if it was because it reacted to the sudden change of cleanser or if it contributed. I'm just glad they went away!

All in all, I don't think I would recommend this only because there are plenty of face washes out there that are more affordable and can do a better job at cleansing.

This was a lovely foaming face wash that left my skin feeling nice and clean, but the scent was incredibly overpowering and would definitely stop me using it again. I don't like scented products on my face at all, but this was a particularly sticky, sweet scent that I found very cloying.

The packaging was lovely, it felt nice and I loved the clean, minimalist look of it.

It did a very thorough job of cleaning my skin and washed off easily enough, although I did find that it left my skin incredibly shiny and almost 'squeaky clean' which I wasn't a big fan of. Followed up with a non-shiny moisturiser that wasn't too big a problem, though.

Overall, if you don't mind strongly scented products it could be quite good for you, but I think you can do better especially in that price range.

This product was just OK for me, mainly due to personal preference I believe.

The packaging was lovely, it looked pretty but simple which is what I like. The foam pump worked really well and created a nice foam and I also love a quality lidded product for travel which this handled well.

The scent was lovely (I like scented products!) It smelled mainly of orange but not to sweet.

The foam was as stated, quite luxurious. It felt lovely going on. After all I've said you'll be wondering why I didn't score this product higher... it just didn't leave me with the clean feeling I like. Now I'm not after a tight, I've stripped my skin feel, but I do like to feel smooth and clean. This product after using did not give me that. I also still got a lot of dirt off my skin using toner.

So if you like a gentle cleanse then I think this may be for you, the packaging was lovely, it feel like a quality product but it just wasn't the right fit for me.

I got the trial for such beautiful brand and nz made skin care cleanser.I was lucky for that. I knew this brand for long time and I did try their eye cream, and was my first eye cream.

Let me tell you about my skin type. I have dyharated, normal to combination skin. After cleansing around my mouth and around nose I do get dry but after couple of hours, it's get oil. I couldn't understand my skin type.

Because of my skin type foam cleanser never ever works for me so I always use cream cleanser. I love the packaging very classic and simple. I found fragrance very strong at first time but after you get to use to it. Cleanser makes my skin worst. Every time I use my skin get more and more dry and after using constant 3 day, have to stop using it because my skin became more irritate.

One pump is enough for entire face and neck. Brand say it's refreshing cleanser I agree with that but it's also say this cleanser has some good ingredients for nourishing skin but personally I didn't find anything like that.

I think this very good cleanser for very very oil skin type. Not for normal to dry skin type.

This comes in a pretty box and the pump container while plastic looks smart. It is a good size to hold if you cleanse in the shower and the pump works smoothly.

The cleanser is a pale yellow liquid that foams when it dispenses. One small pump is plenty to cleanse your face and neck so it will last ages. It left my skin feeling fresh and clean.

The downside is the scent, a very sweet honey, orange smell that I found really unpleasant, just too strong and sweet. Also, while the product says it is for all skin types I found for my dry and slightly sensitive skin it was just too drying and my skin would feel really tight after using it.

While it is a good price, works well and looks pretty it just does not work on my skin.

It is a watery texture which dispenses with a foaming pump, producing a rich foam. It has a strong, perfumey honey-orange type scent, which can be a bit much at times. The cleanser feels nice and soothing on my skin and cleanses well without leaving my skin feeling dry or stripped (I have normal/dry skin). It is around pH5 5-6, which is ideal. I will use this bottle up but will not repurchase simply because there are other cleansers I prefer.

While this cleanser smelt nice, and probably did a good job of cleansing my skin, it also stripped it of any moisture I had. I was quite disappointed to come up with dry patches as I had hoped that the avocado oil and honey would have made my skin soft and hydrated.

Overall, not the greatest cleanser for me, but I think it would suit someone with oily/combination skin.

I am very pleased with the results of this cleanser. It has a lovely bottle with a push dispenser that makes it a foam and the fragrance is absolutely amazing. I love honey and look forward to using it in the morning just for the smell. I have found after 2 weeks of using this (the regime) that my skin is so much clearer and translucent. It seems to clean my skin so well. I am also very pleased with how easy it washes off. Makes it a breeze in the mornings. I am in love this and this range and it will definitely be my only morning skincare routine.

My review is for the Wild ferns Manuka Honey foaming cleanser. I really love this cleanser. I have oily skin and I find it doesn't strip my skin. A half of pump is all you need, apply morning and night, rub in for 30seconds before rinsing. The smell is strong but I love the smell. I will definitely be purchasing this again when I run out. I have been using for 4 weeks now and still have 3/4 of the bottle left.
