This hand cream's texture is borderline runny and I find it does nothing for me. Immediately after application, it's practically gone. It feels very watered down but I didn't have any high hopes for it anyway given the price. In the end I used it as a hand mask just to finish the tube (squirted a huge amount into a hand mask glove and just left my hands soak).

Being a dairy farmer my hands get subjected to some pretty harsh conditions. Combine this with my other job that requires washing hands between every farm (and having them pooped on more!) they can get seriously rough and cracked.
This is definitely the go to. It smells pleasant but not overpowering. Feels creamy and soaks in quickly. It doesn't necessarily keep my hands lovely and soft but it prevents them getting peely and cracking. If I forget to use it for a couple of days I definitely know about it, but a good application softens things up again. Any cuts or scratches heal quicker too.
A nice crisp fresh looking white plastic tube and a dark blue flip top lid. Inside is a mid range white lotion that's nice and silky and it has a soft fresh light floral scent, similar to the usual Nivea fragrance. This lotion absorbs very quickly and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth and I feel like a bit of talcum powder has been rubbed over my skin leaving it feeling fresh, the scent is lovely, after five minutes that's where it stops, as far a moisturizing I don't get the slightest benefit from this lotion my hands still feel dry, and there is no soothing of my dryness in my skin, sadly I go through the motion of putting on and rubbing in a hand cream and that's it, it doesn't matter how much I use it makes no difference if I use a little or quite a lot the effects are the same. So definitely not for me, I do have dry skin I definitely need something more.
This product saves my hands drying out almost daily. I work in a supermarket Deli so I'm always washing and sanitizing my hands with alcohol based products. By the end of 9 hour shift I find my hands can become so dry I cannot fully open them. Nivea intensive nourishing hand creme replaces all of the moisture and elasticity to my skin after a long shift. The smell of this Hand creme isn't bad either and I have smelt them a lot in my search for a hand creme that actually helps.
Tips: If you know you are going to be washing you hands a lot throughout the day try using this product first thing, I find that it sinks into my skin and keeps my hands feeling soft and smooth for so much longer.
I picked this up as I am always in need of a hand cream - I have dry hands year round but in winter they get extremely dry and often crack and bleed.
I really like Nivea as a brand, and this is no exception. It's a great hand cream. It's thick enough to feel really nourishing, but it sinks in quickly and does not leave a greasy residue on my hands. I find regular applications relieves the dry tight feeling my hands get.
It has a subtle scent which I like, and it's cheap enough to have several in different places to ensure it's always close by.
The tube is small enough to throw into your bag and take travelling, which is important to me.
First of all this hand cream smells really good (which was the reason I bought it in the first place). Consistency is not too thick which is good. It is kind of like spreading water onto your hands after you start warming between your hands. I use this at night before I go to sleep and when I wake up my hands always feel nice and soft. I would like to buy this hand cream again but they don't sell it at my supermarket anymore.
Tips: Like most hand creams, don't touch water for a while after applying or your hands will feel slimy.
I really like this hand cream. I am a registered nurse so wash my hands a lot. I like that this cream is absorbed so quickly and easy, it smell is pleasant. I find that the product does do what it says and puts intensive moisture into your hands.
I picked up a tube of Nivea hand cream at the supermarket as my hands were super dry and have now popped this in the glove box in the car for in case I need something on the spot. Packaging is relatively simple and convenient. Product application is easy, good texture and very light and not unpleasant fragrance. Certainly effective for a short while, but no different from dozens of others on the shelf and did not stand out as being particularly effective. I believe that most hand creams would soften the cuticles for the duration they soften the skin on the hands, but as for intensive moisturising I am not so sure. Soothing - definitely yes. Mixed views but probably value for money.
This hand cream comes in a nice tube and is easy to use. I did find initially that it does have a reasonably strong smell, not a hit-you-in-the-face smell but more of a lingering, tickle your nose every now and then smell. It is a good thick cream and I found it absorbed pretty well and didn't irritate sensitive areas on my hands where I tend to get eczema. I have this hand cream sitting on my kitchen bench to use after washing my hands etc, and I apply whenever my hands feel dry, so probably not the best at a long lasting moisturizing feel. However for the price (I paid $5) I think you are getting an adequate-good hand cream.
My hands get dry easily - all year round infact so I go through hand creams alot... I have a few luxury ones from highend brands but often end up buying Nivea if I"m in the supermaket or run out. Not a bad hand cream for the price, it does feel quite rich and skin feels instantly hydrated and smooth however I end up applying several times a day. But otherwise ok - does what it say it will. and it smells nice too - a not heady, subtle frangrance
