In an easy to use tube, allowing you to only use what you need not to waste any. The cream was a thickish, brown colour with beads. I found the smell over powering to start with but as I start to apply to my face and neck it became pleasant. A small amount about the size of a 10 cent coin was more then enough and applying was simple. I felt the beads quite ruff to start with but got use to it fast. While my skin felt smooth and looked more fresh to start with, after a few days it felt dry and i broke out quite dramatically. Which I found disappointing. However I will continue to use until finished to see if my skill settles with the product. over all average to above average

Tips: A little goes along way.
I am unashamedly in love with Essano products. There, I said it. Despite this being a supermarket product, it makes me feel like a million bucks. First off, the dusty pink packaging has an upmarket feel. For someone (me) looking to use more natural products, this range is a godsend. You will notice on reading the label that it's made in NZ and contains no nasties. The smell is lightly rosey (nothing overpowering here), the exfoliating beads are tiny and not particularly abrasive, however you will definitely notice that your face is smoother afterwards (just ask my husband - he pinches my scrub when his face is dry!) I absolutely love this product, so much so that in a recent discount promo I bought 3 tubes! Long live Essano!
Tips: Gentle enough for daily use
I love love love this product, First off, I love the girly packaging and it smells super yummy. When using it you only need a really small amount to do entire face and neck and it feels amazing on my skin. The first time I used it my skin felt really dry but after I used it again I was hooked. My face has not felt this soft in years. I love it and have been using it every night. I will never use another exfoliator on my face again, I'm hooked
Tips: Don't use a lot as a little goes a long way
I really really liked this product. It wasn't as harsh as I was expecting, so really gentle on the skin. Upon washing off I was left with very very soft skin that seemed to be drinking in all the nutrients. Felt very moisturised afterwards and not oily. Would definetly use again and being able to purchase from the supermarket is a added bonus :)
Tips: Would only use once or twice a week. Only a small amount is needed.
I purchased the product for the bargain price of $10 at Countdown, so I'm already impressed with it as rose-hip based products are usually quite pricy. However the quality of this product is phenomenal. It's fine granules lightly exfoliate while the rose-hip soothes and softens your skin. I have used it twice a week for a couple of weeks now and I have noticed that my skin has become noticeably softer to the touch. I do still use a gentle moisturiser after I exfoliate however.
The packaging is gorgeous, a nice dusky pink with black white and gold lettering. The amount of product inside is generous and the lid on the bottom style packaging ensures that you will be able to get every drop out of it!
Tips: A 20c coin size dollop of product is more than enough! Also, be sure to exfoliate your neck and clavicle a little bit too!
I really like this product. The colour of the tube is nice and not like another product out there (that I've seen anyway!) I like the little gold at the bottom however I struggled to actually know who it was made by because its in small font at the bottom!
The big one for me is that it is natural and made in New Zealand - love supporting local products over imported brands any day!
Originally when I first used this, the colour surprised me. Its brown! I wasn't expecting that haha. However, it smells lovely. Almost a little lemony to me which I really liked. Probably is supposed to smell like rose so maybe my nose is broke!
I have to say, my face does feel really lovely - very smooth! However I have had a breakout of pimples on my chin. Its probably because my skin is freaking out about having something good used on it!
I think it is a really good price too. Its NZ made so that is value.
I really like this exfoliator and definitely wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Or buy myself when mine runs out!
Thanks for another awesome trial, BR xo
I really enjoyed using this product. Afer usuing it once a day for five days i found my skin feeling really smooth, it looked brighter and well moisturised. it also did a good job at removing my make up. It smells, nice and has small exfoliating beads in it, I will keep using this product as my skin feels and looks great.
Tips: only need to use a small amount as it spreads well.
This exfoliator is pretty good. I have combination skin which is prone to breakouts. This exfoliator does not irritate my skin at all. I have been using it daily for a week now and have had no issues. The packaging of this product is simple. The texture is slightly gritty (as you would expect) and the smell of the product is not overpowering. The product comes out as a light brown colour. The 'beads' which exfoliate the skin are not too rough so do not irritate the skin yet by the end of it my skin feels polished and super clean. I tend to use a moisturiser after I pat dry and I do not have any problems with that eithet. Overall, I am glad this product is around. Happy with the fact that there are no weird chemicals in it. Would most likely repurchase once I finish this tube. Although a little goes a long way so won't even have to worry for a while!
Tips: Rub the product in gentle circular motions on your face in order to increase circulation!
Im not usually one to use exfoliators but I did enjoy using this product. It smells delicious - I only used a small amount (probably the size of a 20c coin) and once I had rubbed it on my face I still had a bit left so rubbed on my arms. I don't like the feel of my skin after use - my skin felt a little bit dry. All and all I would probably buy this again as it is a good priced product and didn't irritate my skin.
Tips: Only use once or twice a week :)
When I review I try to always keep an open mind but unfortunately I am one of these visual people so the packaging and presenation of a product is important to me and usually my first impression is the lasting one. In this case I was pretty underwhelmed, the packaging didn't appeal (I'm more classical and than whimsical) and when I tried the product on my hand, the texture and smell was also unappealing. I feel a bit Meh about this product I didn't think it was a great exfoliator and it left me skin feeling clean but not feeling fabulous - I think I prefer more intense exfoliators and my age maybe the issue so to be fair I gave it to my 18 year old neice to try and get her thoughts and sure enough her review was quite different - she loved the look of the product, thought the smell and texture was awesome and really felt like her skin had been exfoliated - she is a fan. So while this product was not to my 46 year old taste it did appeal to a market (18 years old) that i think is more motivated by price and pretty packaging.
