Garnier Body Superfood Cocoa & Ceramide

Wow! If I only had to use one word for this product that would be it.

The smell! Tick tick tick. Not over powering and smells like you would eat it!

It really does hydrate your skin. Even after using it in the morning and showering later in the day your legs still feel moisturised.

I love that it is in a tub rather then a squeeze bottle. I hate when you have moisturised 1 leg the have to squeeze tube again getting outside all slimy. Plus you can be sure right at the end you have got all the product.

It is easy to spread around and you don't need a heap to do this like some other moisturisers. Great consistency!

Only thing I have to say is weird is the picture on the tub. I get that it's a supplement with the 2 elements in it. But I only know that cause I have read about the product 1st. To be honest it looks like a weird cartoon kumera or something like that haha.

The packaging is pretty much the same as most body butters. It comes in a plastic tub which you unscrew to allow you to get into the jar. I love this kind of packaging as it’s easy to use and you can get every last drop of the cream. The container is also great for re-using once it’s empty to store other things, like paint, for instance, if you don’t want to paint straight out of a large tin. The consistency of the body butter is really nice, not too thick as you find with some body butters. It goes on easily and smells divine. It soaks in well and it left my skin feeling really soft. I would allow it to just soak in for a few minutes before dressing.

My skin tends to be dry and I definitely felt that my skin was so much more hydrated and moist when using this body butter.

I will definitely use this body butter again when I run out of this jar.

I love body butters so was excited to try this one and was not let down it comes in a large tub very similar to the garnier hair mask with easy to read labels telling you exactly what type of skin it’s for.

When you open the container there is a delightful scent and a glossy butter inside as you rub it onto your skin it definitely absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy like som body butters tend to.

My skin definitely feels a lot less dry and I look forward to continuing this over summer

This moisturizer is so good! I have very dry skin that gets quite itchy and most moisturizers will leave me with tiny red bumps and rashes. This Body Food Repairing Butter is everything it says on the packaging! When you put it on its like you have given enough your skin a good drink, it works so nicely on my arms and legs without any irrations but on other parts of my body like my stomach it did still leave the wee bumps but like I said most creams will do this to my skin but where I am the dryest on my arms and legs its perfect even after shaving so I am stoked that it works so well on my major problem areas.

The consistency to this product is not heavy at all it's not like a traditional thick body butter its thick bit sinks into the skin with ease and doesn't leave a film or residue or leave your skin feeling wet or sticky its just instant hydration that is so comfortable on the skin. I use this on my body at night after my evening shower and I don't even need to moisturize in the morning because my skin still feels so plump and looks fantastic.

The smell is devine not overwhelming at all it's a very light yummy scent much like the Garnier Hair food, which leads my to the only thing I don't overly like with this product ..... the packaging I would have like to see the packaging look a but more "skincare like" just because it looks very similar to the hair food to the point where my daughter thought it was the macadamia hair food and put it in the shower to use! I do like that the tub is massive and you get a huge amount of product that will last you a long time, I just think they could have made it a bit more distinguished from the hair care line.

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has that dry scaley like skin because my skin has never looked or felt this good before the formula is 10 out of 10 for sure!

I am going to purchase the watermelon body food because I think that this one will be so soothing and a but lighter on skin for the summer, I thinks it's great that they have released a few different versions of this of this because there will be something for everyone's skin needs with different levels of hydration.

Garnier knocked it out of the park with this launch!

I really enjoyed this trial team - I expected it to be a goodie based on my love of Garnier Hair Food - the body superfood is equally great!

It's so thick and silky and rich and luxurious - just amazing to use on the body. I like how instantly hydrating it is and how it isn't greasy or oily. It absorbs pretty quickly really.

For me the negatives are the format it is packaged in. I don't like how the tub is pretty much identical to the hair food - it could make for some confusing showers haha. I also don't like scooping product out of a tub and it is easy to scoop far too much each time.

The packaging bugbear aside, I very much enjoyed the product itself.

I love cocoa butter, and as a teen/early 20s I used to religiously use Palmers. The smell of this Garnier Body Superfood brought back instant memories, but I must say I think this smells even better!

When you call something superfood, I think you're setting it up to smell delicious right? This does. And the scent lasts, I find myself huffing my arms during the day for a scent hit!

This is aimed at very dry skin and has been working a treat on my super dry legs and arms.

I like the tub format, you wont get any wastage or need to cut open tubes to avoid wastage.

Would I use it again? I would but I want to try the others first!

Packaging: love the extra large tub! It’s a generous amount of product and you can scoop out plenty for your whole body.

Scent: lovely cocoa/coconut smell. Not at all over powering (eg Sol De Janeiro) but I still got an occasional waft of fragrance through the day

Product: a thick moisturiser somewhere between body butter and cream consistency. It took a bit of effort to rub in but I personally am reassured by that - it felt like I was pushing it into my skin rather than it just sitting on the surface. I would t say the hydration lasts 48 hours - only 12 at the most. But with the warm weather over the last week I felt confident to go out with bare legs after using this.

I absolutely love Garnier Hairfood so when I saw a trial for the new Superfood body butter I was super excited! As soon as this arrived on my doorstep I ripped into it and started using it immediately.

It comes in the same packaging as the Hairfood....a huge tub which resembles a yoghurt pottle. Now my pet peeve with this is there was no protective cover on the top and the lid can easily be opened as it doesn't have a seal you need to crack. So anyone could open it in the supermarket and stick their dirty fingers in which is just icky.

It is a thick consistency and the scent for me is just ok. It's definitely not a really nice cocoa smell like others I have tried. It says 48 hours hydration and fast absorbing.  It does rub in well and make my skin feel nice however it doesn't blow me away!

I feel like I have used much better body butters and this just doesn't hit the mark for me. The scent is also a big let down. I would be interested to see what the rest of the range smells like. For me this is just a bit average.

Loved trialling the repairing butter. I applied it straight out of the shower and it absorbed super quick into my skin. It smells delicious but not over powering, the smell also lasted. I loved that it was not greasy or sticky and hours later my skin was still soft. I will definitely be purchasing again.

Wow, this stuff is AMAZING! I totally love it and it’s my new favourite. It definitely does what it says it will and takes away all the dryness on my legs, arms and elbows! Love the smell and the feeling it leave's.
