After attending a linden leaves evening at my local pharmacy I am in love with the products. I have been using this not only as an eye make up remover but as a whole face cleanser. I have somewhat dry sensitive skin and this has been so soothing. I look forward to taking my make up off each night and my skin not feeling tight and irritated. The smell is Devine and a little goes a long way.

Tips: Wet face first and apply a few drops to wet hands gently cleanse eye area first and then rest of face. I find a cotton pad absorbs too much product so best to just use clean hands
This product deserves 5 kisses in my opinion. It’s not only effective as an eye make-up remover (in my experience, some natural eye make-up removers aren’t so effective!), but it leaves your cleansed eyes feeling loved & soothed! That might sound a bit corny, but I really DO believe this ‘Soothing Eye Makeup Remover’ lives up to its name! The organic white tea in this product sounded appealing to me because of its anti-aging properties and the Eyebright sounded like a good addition as well to minimise puffiness/inflammation around the eye area. Over the past week or so, I’ve noticed my eyes looking less puffy and somewhat more awake (!) straight after using it. That is saying a LOT as I’ll use it at the end of long work days or when I’ve been out late in the evening and that’s when I feel tired as anything! It also smells nice, but it’s not an overpowering smell at all, it’s just pleasant and subtle. The fact that this remover is NZ-made, natural, soothing AND effective ticks all the relevant boxes for me and I’m sticking with this as my go-to eye make-up remover for now!
After having received my NZ Brands box and really enjoying all of the natural ingredient aspects of most of the products I made a conscious decision to look for an eye make up remover that had really good ingredients. To be honest this was the only one in the shop with the above and I really like oils so I thought I would give it a try.
The bottle is quite small, only 60ml's but I've had it a few weeks now and it seems to be lasting well. The oil itself is quite thick and it spreads so I found that you don't need to use a lot. I found the best way to use it is to press on my lashes for a few seconds to soften my waterproof mascara and then wipe off. The thickness and oiliness of the product meant that I didn't get any eye irritation which I love. I liked the fact that the oil was gentle but there was quite a lot of residue afterwards so I had to make sure that I either washed my face after or used a toner to wipe it off. The packaging is simple and leak proof (great for an oil!), the small bottle also means it's great for travelling with. With it's ingredients including eyebright to minimise puffiness, sweet almond oil to nourish and organic white tea to reduce visible signs of ageing it definitely hit my 'natural ingredients' brief.
Tips: You don't need a lot of this as it spreads.
I like this eye makeup remover it's natural and conditions your lashes and it doesn't dry out the skin around your eyes like some eye makeup removers. I bought this one because I was going for organic and natural products when I was replacing skincare that had run out. The cons are it's expensive and it doesn't remove mascara as easily as some other cheaper ones I've used. I like the design of the bottle as it has that luxury look to it and it has a leak proof top. You can control how much you want to have on a cotton pad so there no product wastage. Even though the bottle is just 60mls it has lasted me a long time and I would consider repurchasing but I would probably look into how efficient other natural eye makeup removers are first. If you don't wear heavy eye makeup and you like a natural eye makeup remover and don't mind spending a bit more this might be for you. I did test how it compared to coconut oil for removing eye makeup and this one removed my eye makeup a lot more easily.
Tips: When I remove my eye makeup before bed I like to leave this on my eye area after wiping off the makeup so the eye makeup remover can break down whatever the cotton pad didn't wipe off plus it conditions my lashes. Then when I wash my face in the shower whatever eye makeup is left behind gets washed off when I wash my face.
I have this in my shower caddy. A little goes a long way, just a few drops is enough for face and neck cleanse. I find it works well for eye makeup and foundation removal, although you would probably want to use a face cloth to wipe it all off. I double cleanse so it doesn't annoy me that there is some residue.
It is very scented, smells botanical, not unpleasant. I just wasn't expecting it for a product of this type. If you don't like super scented makeup removers you will probably want to give this one a miss.
I picked mine up on sale online and would repurchase again. It looks like its going to last me some months which is a bonus.
