Evolu Active Age Defence Facial Serum Review

I used this serum long ago and loved it. It is more face oil for me than a serum. It doesn't absorb fast so I used it in the evenings to avoid looking greasy. I love the ingredients, it is nourishing but I find it pricey.

I was lucky enough to pick this up in the vault not sure is it will suit my skin as it said anto aging but im glad i did its a very lovely face oil.

It comes in a very pretty drupper bottle and it has a very lovely musk smell. For me just 3 dro0s ia enough to cover my entire face.

Ive been using it for 2 weeks now before my night cream. It takes a while to absorb but mu skin looks fantastic i can see a very clear difference my skon is smooth and hydrated it looks pluped and healthy.

This is definitely a face oil that i will repurchase

I received this from the Beauty Vault and have been using it every night since. It is quite delicious. I started by applying a few drops to my skin before moisturising at night, but now I add the drops to my moisturiser and mix in my hands first. Then massage the concotion into my skin. This seems to work even better. Full of gorgeous ingredients, the oils soak into my skin and leave it looking fresh, dewy and plumper. The smell is a very light spicy smell, which soon disappears. I only use this at night.

Love many products from this brand and always look forward to trying a new product. Only 15ml of product but it is quite a concentrated formula, oil consistency. Same amber tinted bottle with rounded dropper (for precise dispensing) as the Evolu Oil I have.

Very scented, more herbal than botanical. However the scent is what I identify with the brand which I love. I find the smell very relaxing especially for my night skin care routine. Always feel very pampered after using this. Skin looks and feels hydrated, moisturised, so soft and touchable.

I enjoy using this a lot but at the price point I wouldn't repurchase, however if I did find it on sale i'd definitely pick it up.

My most favourite product from all my BBBE's I'm in the over 40's age camp and hydration and dullness are the two things my skin struggles with. This serum/oil addresses both of these, and keeps my skin hydrated

This oil smells divine - quite a floral scent, and only the tiniest amount is needed to cover your face.

I love this especially at night especially under a night cream. I wake to hydrated, soft, plump skin. For day use it will sit under a moisturiser and makeup nicely so if you find your skin tight by the end of the day this serum will work wonders. I love it during the day, but for the price, I tend to stick to using this at night and am currently using their Rosehip & Friends serum during the day.

It is an investment - but a worthy one if you have a skin type like mine, or hydration/dullness is a big concern. I haven't used another oil that's as vitamin rich as this, so I think this one is a must have for my skincare regime.

Ok so I've tried a lot of facial oils and this is by far the best. Light, non greasy and packed with goodness. I use it at night to wake up with bright smooth skin. The scent is incredible and not overpowering. A staple in my beauty kit.

I got this in a promotion pack with the Rescue Rehydration Masque which is a favorite of mine so I decided to try the facial serum. It's a lovely facial oil that's designed to be used at night. I love how it's not heavy feeling like most of Evolu's products it's designed to feel light on the skin. It has a nice light floral sort of scent probably from the rose, neroli and vanilla essential oils. This does leave my skin smooth, dewy and looking refreshed in the morning, also didn't get any breakouts using this or dry skin. However, for the amount I do feel the price is rather steep even if you only use it at night. I do think there are other nighttime serums that would give my skin just as many benefits while being more cost effective. Since I only used the bottle once a day at night I didn't go through the bottle as quickly as a serum or facial oil that I would apply twice a day. I really like it but I can't justify the price and so would only consider purchasing if there was a special deal or sale. As I think that there are other nighttime facial oils that would work about as good that would be cheaper. If you like a lighter facial oil that's rejuvenating but not heavy this might be for you, but for me there are more cost effective options.
