I like to use Nivea Soft as a night-time moisturiser, it does a wonderful job of sealing in moisture. The fragrance is pretty typical for a Nivea moisturiser -nice and not overpowering. A jar(tub?) of this will last for ages. Where this moisturiser really wins is that it has all of the advantages of the standard blue tin Nivea Creme, but is a lot easier to apply. Where the blue tin is thick and gluggy and tugs on your skin when it is cold, Nivea Soft glides on smoothly and easily. It is also very attractive in that it works out to be nearly half the price of the blue tin Nivea (the container of Nivea Soft is about twice the size of the Nivea creme).

My grandma used the original so I didn't hesitate to buy this cream just to have on hand. It smells nice, nothing specific can be noted but a light 'Nivea' smell that doesn't last too long on your skin. This white cream is light and rubs in easily. I have the mini 50g jar and a much bigger jar that I refill the little one with. It is usually in my handbag or on the armrest of the chair I sit in so I can rub it into my hands regularly. My Austrian cousins use it multiple times a day in winter on their lips- just slather it all over- so I have been doing that too lately as the weather gets colder and my lips are very soft. It doesn't taste the best but works. I like the soft one over the original as it is much lighter but still moisturises. It soaks in better and there is no greasy or shiney residue.
Tips: I buy it from the warehouse when when its on sale- which is very often.
This is an old favourite of mine. I use this cream for everything, all the time: face, hands, lips, back, legs and of course any annoying dry spots. I have quite sensitive skin and can always rely on NIVEA Soft to supply a soothing moisturise when I need it. I have been through several large pots already! This moisturiser is especially helpful after a swim, when nasty Chlorines have dried out your skin. NIVEA soft then helps to replenish the moisture lost to the pool and keeps you feeling smooth and fresh :D
Tips: Keep some in the car or handbag, you never know when it will come in handy!
Highly recommend this cream as a day to day cream, it's not heavy, goes on easily and does it's job. Plus it's a nice size and easy to carry around with you - it's also totally affordable.
I have lost count of the number of tubes/pots of this I have been through in my time. It's been around for years, and it's stayed reliable, affordable and effective.
Nivea Soft comes in a white pottle or tube with blue and green labelling. It's marketed as a soft moisturising cream, which actually *undersells* what this product is capable of. I was able to buy it in Japan and so continued to use it there, and knew what I was getting every time.
I love that you can use this on both your face and body. It's hydrating enough to cope well with the needs of your body skin, but light and delicate enough to deal with faces as well. There is some sort of gypsy magic going on, clearly!
The cream is quite thick, but it's very smooth and light. it spreads well, and absorbs in under a minute. It has a softer, subtler version of the classic Nivea fragrance, which is reminiscent of baby powder, petals and freshness (to me anyway).
It leaves skin (no matter where you use it) soft, supple, silky and hydrated. It doesn't aggravate my eczema (when it occurs) or my oily facial skin. It doesn't necessarily HELP those things, but it certainly works harmoniously with them.
My current pottle of this is a small (50 ml) travel pottle I picked up in Australia for around $2.50, but I often have a tube of this when I travel/in my work bag, and a bigger pottle for use on legs/body post-shower. It has never let me down and - while I often get tempted away from it towards other products - am always eventually drawn back.
Tips: Worth a try! Being multi-purpose if you don't like it on your face, it's perfect for body, hands, feet....wherever. You can't lose.
I have quite sensitive skin and I had been looking for a moisturizer for a while that wouldn't bring up rashes in sensitive areas on my face like around my eyes. I have found very little moisturisers in the past that I'm able to use long term, but as soon as I tried Nivea Soft I was really pleased. It is perfect for very sensitive skin and is also very lightweight/not too creamy. It isn't oily at all so it's great for wearing under makeup. I use it daily and would highly recommend.
This stuff gets the job done. It's neither too thick or too thin. The sent is quite pleasant but it would benefit from having less fragrance in it. I would definitely repurchase as it is very affordable and performs well for the price. Good for multipurpose use but I mainly used it for my legs.
I was worried about trying this product as I wondered if a cream used for your hands and body would be alright on my face. After using it for two months my skin has been fine. I have normal skin and havn't had any breakouts using this product. This is quite thick and only a little dab is needed for full coverage of my face. Its nice to be able to use any leftovers on my hands. It does leave a bit of a oily feeling screen on your face to touch afterwards but this does not bother me. I would use this product again the only downer is it does not contain spf and a couple of times I have got a little burnt. It is reasonably priced and the bottle has lasted me about 2 months using it every night.
I have tried this producted and loved it. It's smooth and smells nice. Iwould use it again but it doesn't have any spf in it as i need that for my skin. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product to my friends though.
I had used this product for years and it never ceased to fail. I loved how inexpensive it was and especially how it kept my dry skin moisturised. Unfortunately I am unable to use this cream regularly after my skin type changed (combination-oily) when I was pregnant with my son. I do however occassionally use this product whenever I have a dry patch on my face and it still does wonders.
