I used this as a facial moisturiser for quite a few years, but with my very dry skin it never really had the moisturing effects that I was after and I've since discovered other great alternatives.
The cream is very light and soft, and has a neutral scent that I didn't particularly like but wasn't a problem. My skin is quite sensitive, and I found that this cream did not react with my skin and did make it quite soft. However, even after prolonged use, it wasn't able to moisturise my skin enough to get rid of my flaky patches and my skin never felt hydrated or noticeably less dry. I also found that it took quite a long time to sink in and left my skin feeling greasy rather than moisturised. I much prefer it as a hand cream, or even as a body cream, but there are better alternatives and I would not use it again on my face. However the cheap price and simple, easy-to-use packaging are definitely in it's favour.
Have been using Nivea soft for quite awhile now, definitely one of my favourite for my face. I have quite sensitive skin, which Nivea soft didn't react with, I felt that it kept my skin hydrated, didn't make my skin go oily like some do. consistency is quite thick.
Tips: Buy the tubes not tubs as the using the tube isn't very hygienic when using your fingers.
