Tips: If you save up your lush pottles / containers and return to store, they often give you a free face mask!
favourite hand and body lotion ever! smells so good and is really nourishing and moisturizing. a little bit goes a long way so it also lasts forever !!
I received a generous sample of this from Lush. I'm not a fan of the Karma smell so I've hung onto it for awhile. I thought it would be nice after I used the Blue Skies and Fluffy White Clouds bubble bar as they are both patchouli scented. It's the patchouli that put me off but when I applied this thick body butter, there was a sweetness that wafted up from it. It's orang, but more like sherbet than the actual fruit.
Even though this lotion is very thick, it sinks in straight away and leaves your skin heavily moisturised (although some might find it a bit greasy, but it was perfect for me). The sweet fruity scent fades and leaves a heady, more musky scent. It's one of those scents I prefer to smell on others rather than myself.
I love the texture and effect of this cream so I've rated it highly for doing what it says and recommending to a friend. However I wouldn't use it again as due to the scent, it's not for me.
I have a little 45 gram pot of this delicious smelling lotion. The black pot is immediately recognisable as a Lush product, (well it is if you love Lush products anyway). It's a screwtop and does up securely. When you have 5 of these pots, you can clean them in and trade them into a Lush store for a free face masque as well! This has a little sticker on it saying who made it, when it was made and when it expires. I love this and wish more stores would have clear labels too.
This scent is so different to what I usually go for but I adore it anyway. It's a very warming scent, with a hint of spice. I can smell the patchouli and it must be the orange that gives it a slightly sweet, uplifting aura. This scent is very strong and lasts on me for a long time after. If you're not into heavy scents, this won't be a good one for you.
Because I only have a small pot, I just use this as a night handcream. I only need to use the tiniest amount. I just dip one finger in and don't even need to scoop any out. I'm only halfway done with this and I must have been using it for close to two months now! The texture isn't as thick as butter but it is a thicker lotion. It doesn't run off my hands. I find it leaves my hands feeling nice and soft after using. It doesn't sink in straight away though but it doesn't leave me feeling sticky either. I think using too much could leave a slickness though.
I can definitely see myself buying this again sometime. I even bought the Karma soap as this made me realise how much I like this scent. I'd definitely recommend going in store to give this a sniff if possible. I can see it being a love it or hate it scent, it's not really something neutral that everyone would love!
I brought the big 225g tub of this, I used to love the Karma scent, That woody, patchouli, smokey scent was a favourite.
The big black tub with screw top lid is wide enough to get a decent sized scoop out, I love how sturdy these plastic tubs are (which can be washed out and taken back to lush when you have 5 of them for a free face mask)
The consistency is thick and buttery. It absorbs into the skin easily without leaving any residue and that scent lingers for hours. Great at night but not so great during the day as it does compete with other perfumes.
The scent is very strong spicy, smokey, patchouli scent that I remember from years ago in a massage oil, is like walking into a gypsy fair with lots of incense burning at one time. It's nice but maybe slightly too much for me and I love the stronger scents. I do find it rather sickly if I add it to my whole body rather than just my arms or legs.
I will continue to use this until it's finished but I'm undecided if I will repurchase again.
I recently got a mate to get me comforter and I asked for a miranda sample. She threw in plenty of little samples for me. Now my kitchen fridge is loaded with samples on the door with do not touch lol . I never heard of this lotion before I got this sample. The words Karma cream to me I imagine a mix of musky spices that are warming to your senses.
I was given these little mini black pots reminiscent of the large lush tubs.Quite different to the clear pots I was used to getting. This creams is medium in thickness . Is beige in colour. Man does this cream pack a scentsuous punch. When I opened the lid immediately my nose was overwhelmed with a mix of rich spices and musky notes combining an overall uplifting experience for me. I had smelled karma in a different brand and I did notice a similarity in muskiness.
When I applied this to my skin it soaked in nicely. No residue left behind. Its becoming common after using a series of lush creams that they all blend in perfectly. I like to do these creams as winding down or when I feel I need a pick me up.
After using this multiple times Ive come to the conclusion that I need more of this because it lasted on my skin in scent than any other creams Ive tried. I got many uses out of this sample. In the future I will request more samples to try rather than getting a sample surprise. Its priced accordingly. Would I get this again, definitely once Ive panned out the rest of my lotions.
I recently tried out some Karma Kream from Lush after visiting their store for some summer skincare. I have fallen in love! What an amazing product.
Firstly, this product is FAB because of everything Lush stands for: recycled + recyclable packaging, all natural and fresh ingredients, and cruelty-free processes, to name just a few. I love supporting Lush and all they are doing in the cosmetic industry and beyond.
Secondly, this cream smells INCREDIBLE! They call this their signature scent and I can see why - one whiff of this lotion and I'm instantly transported to a Lush heaven of bath bombs and deliciousness. Heavenly scent which I'm not sure how to describe other than this feels like Lush in a pot.
Thirdly, this lotion is super rich, creamy, and nourishing. My skin adores this product because it is soothing and moisturising without being overly greasy. I have been using this everyday after having a shower and it is just so lovely.
Would definitely recommend this gorgeous product to any Lushies looking for a Lush fix, or for anyone after a nourishing and gorgeous-scented body lotion.
I'll buy this any day. Goes well with karma perfumes. The scent of karma lasts all day. Pots just no big enough is my only grumble
