My daughter was using it so I used it one day and it's awesome. It moisturizers the skin and it makes it smooth. It has inbuilt sunscreen and it's non oily. It is available in all supermarkets and it's cheap.
I have been looking for a while for a moisturiser after the one I used for 10years was discontinued. I love the fact that I can easily buy this from the supermarket, it’s reasonably priced and quite often on special. The creme itself is light enough to go under my makeup. It has a inoffensive smell and I love the fact that is has a built in sunscreen. It’s not oily and has never made me break out. My only complaint would be that the way it dispenses is difficult and it is hard to get a small amount out at a time.
For a few years now I have been using this lotion as my daily moisturiser. I used to use the non SPF version of this, but I have become really aware of how damaging the New Zealand sun is, and I no longer leave the house with some SPF on my face. However, I still use the non SPF version as a night cream as it has such a nice consistency. Even though I do not have super sensitive skin I like using a product without fragrance and colourants, which is why I use the Sensitive version of this lotion and not the Classic lotion. The lotion is very nice and light, especially for a product with SPF. It makes my skin soft and hydrated, and does not leave a greasy film like some other SPF products do. I like buying this lotion in the bottle, rather than in the smaller jar, and I really like how easily available Olay products are in supermarkets. I also feel that Olay moisturisers are really great value for money. As I am getting older, and signs of ageing are becoming visible, I am planning to increase the SPF of my day cream and buy the Olay SPF30 lotion next time. However, even the SPF 15 version I am using at the moment came in very handy recently when I started adding Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Night Serum to my beauty routine. When you use a product with Retinol you need to use sunscreen during the day, and using a daily moisturiser with SPF meant that I did not have to change my morning routine. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a light moisturiser with SPF at a very reasonable price.
Not a bad product!
As a moisturiser, it was not greasy and did not irritate my somewhat sensitive skin. I didn't find it super hydrating though, and my makeup would often feel dry by the end of the day. It has a nice light scent and did feel quite refreshing and smooth.
However, I would not replace a sunscreen with this product. It was great to have on under makeup (as I am terrible at remembering to suncreen up everyday) and is a nice small protective measure. But it definitely doesn't work as a reliable UV protectant - which makes sense as I would only use this in the mornings, not reapply throughout the day.
A good product that happens to have an SPF proctectant - but as a moisturiser rather than sun protector.
Tips: Reapply if looking for SPF protection - or just pop on a higher SPF sunscreen.
I bought this thinking I should probably start wearing sunscreen on my face all year round so having a mosturiser with spf protection in it would be the easiest thing to do. However I found that even though I bought the sensitive product it still stung or generally irritated my skin if I applied it after washing or exfoliating my face. Even just now I put it on my face on a lazy weekend morning when I haven't done anything to my face yet and it still leaves it feeling tight. Such a shame as I really wanted this to like this!
I have been using this brand since I was a young kid. My grandmother used to use the original. I switched to this product as a teenager when I wanted to add SPF to my daily moisturizer, I was also experiencing some eczema so needed something a little bit more delicate for my skin. I apply this every morning and it leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. I also add this to my makeup routine before primer.
Tips: Always apply to clean skin with clean hands
I use this lotion on my face morning and night and it works wonders. Perfect for my sensitive skin as I find it never burns or leaves nasty red marks on my eyes or cheeks. Most of all it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft. Also great on hot days with the SPF15 factor to give me protection without clogging my pores with heavy sunscreen.
I use this one in winter as my skin is drier than in summer. It goes on really smoothly and the foundation that I use is as if this this moisturizer allows the foundation to go on smoother. Like the fact that it has a SPF in and for day to day use it is fine. It lasts ages and it is cheap.
I have been using the Olay for sensitive skin moisturiser as my morning moisturiser every day for several years now. I got it because it was on special at the supermarket and have never looked back. Not only great value, but doesn't irritate my very sensitive skin and doesn't feel greasy. It is not always great at controlling shine but that's okay, it's not meant for super oily skin. I will continue to use it daily! The bottle is a good size too, it will last me 3+ months.
Tips: Stock up on an extra one when it's on sale!
