I was really excited to try BioOil after my first child left me with a fair few stretchmarks. Sadly it didn't seem to make any difference to any of them whatsoever. Not to be discouraged I used it the entire time I was pregnant with my 2nd baby and although I will never know what would have happened had I not used it, I still got more stretchmarks. So in that respect I don't really think it does anything to help. I have discovered though, that it is a really nice oil to apply to my hands at night and keeps them really moisturised....

Didn't really do anything for my skin. Certainly didn't help with pregnancy stretch marks! I didn't really like the oily feeling of it, or the smell either. Personally I don't really see what makes it so special at all.. Wouldn't recommend it.
I used to have plenty of scars from flea bites and Bio Oil helped me get rid of them! Before, I was so embarrased to wear skirts & shorts but after months of using this product it has brought back my confidence :)
I used Bio Oil on my stretch marks. It made no difference at all. I would not use this product again or recommend it.
I brought a bottle off bio oil about three months ago. I have very large read scars on my legs, so had high hopes to at least minimize these. I first opened the bottle, I was taken back from the smell. It was so odd I can't begin to describe it. I used a small amount which went very far. To far I ended up getting it every where. After using twice a day for a few days I notices a red rash which got worse and worse. It was extremely sore and itchy. Despite this I kept using the product (I'm not one for wasting product or money). After a month I toke a photo to compare to my before photo. There was no change. So not only did I waste money, I wasted time.
Tips: Use a very small amount. Be aware off bad reactions to skin.
I was recommend by so many people to use this throughout my pregnancy to aid my skin with being supple, however I was highly disappointed. It left my skin with a greasy oily feel afterwards and it took a long time to be absorbed. I tried it again after my pregnancy with the same results. Didn't fade my stretch marks and just made me feel like I'd rolled around in oil. I expect more with the price tag of around $30...
Never to be used on your face, this product contains pert chemicals which you will quickly realise as you apply to your skin and find it tingling
Tips: AVOID!!!!!
I used this while I was pregnant and I was so disappointing to say it was awful. The oil was runny and went everywhere. The smell was really off putting and I broke out in a massive rash all over my belly which itched like crazy for days and days. Unfortunately I brought two bottles and it was a complete waste of my money. I can't even give them away.
Tips: If you choose to use this product test it first on a small patch before diving in like I did
I first started using this years ago for a seriously big post-surgery scar. I feel like it did help fade the scar a bit, but time has done that also.
I use a few drops at a time and massage it in. It is very oily and does not absorb quickly at all, leaving a film on the skin. I usually put it on before I went to bed to let it absorb overnight.
I keep it on standby in case I want something heavy duty, but if I were to have scarring issues again I would probably turn to rosehip oil over this.
Tips: Be careful when wearing light coloured clothes - I managed to get a permanent faint stain on a white singlet from where it lay against my skin.
Bio oil is so underrated :) I use this on my post baby stretch marks and they have faded quite a lot But that was after a few months maybe 4 I love using a little on my hair to help out with moiture and a bit of shine and manageability I use as an oil cleanse and also full body moisturiser and for my lips This stuff is quite handy i love and always get when on sale a while back they wer $3.99 from paknsav so i got quite a few now they have gone up
