The Facial Soap is a great, gentle and effective cleanser. It lathers up nicely and rinses off well without leaving too much residue. I found that it didn't really make my skin any less oily though despite following the steps religiously for six months.
The pump packaging is awesome though because you don't end up squeezing out too much product unlike some squeeze tubes from other brands. It really does make the product last a lot longer and better value for money in that respect.
For my oily sensitive skin it's generally hard for me to find a cleanser that doesn't break me out. This product however was gentle enough for my skin and effective at cleansing my face after a long day of wearing makeup.
It's a light weight gel which lathers up surprisingly well and there's just a mild fragrance; it doesn't smell like anything in particular but it's definitely easy on the nose.
When I wash it off I notice that the residue of the gel disappears almost immediately as if I hadn't put any product on. There is a cooling effect once my face is completely rinsed (the kind you feel with eucalyptus products) and you would think my face would feel refreshed but I think the right word is 'clean' rather than refreshed. There's a slight bit of tightness but nothing your favourite moisturiser can't fix.
Package-wise it's a nice change having a cleanser with a pump because you can control the amount of product you use so no wastage. I would definitely recommend this cleanser which I bought from Smith & Caughey.
Tips: Once I finished cleansing my face I would use Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel and my skin felt amazingly soft (I skipped the Clarifying Lotion (also known as their toner) because it was too harsh).
