Lush Lady Bird Bubble Bar Review

This wee cutie patootie was available over the Mother's Day limited edition period but really lush? Can you please not make it permanent?

The cute pink coloured ladybird has a purple head and purple spots because hey traditional black and red is overrated.

I really didn't want to crumble this under the running water because he was so cute but I had to, I needed to try it. As soon as I took it out of the cellophane bag I was hit with a tropical fruity scent that is just as sweet as it is fruity.

I start crumbling it under the running water and watch as loads of bubbles start forming, I think this has to be one of the bubbliest bubble bars. It also turned the water a lovely shade of pink, rather vibrant for a bubble bar. It also has the tiniest amount of shimmer through it which you can just notice.

The tropical fruity scent fills the bathroom and leaves me feeling revived and recharged it also leaves me feeling sort of hungry too.

The scent lingers on my skin for an hour before it starts to fade. It also makes it easy to apply moisturiser as my skin already feels soft.

I love this bubble bar and wished it hung around a bit longer but not to worry next year I will be stocking up on these before they leave the shelves.

I received this in a Mothers day pack and didn't think much of the scent through the wrapper... so I thought I'd treat the kids with it... um well, kind of... they got one bath and it was then that I decided that the little love bug of red and purple fruity Lush-iness shall once again be mine! (sorry kids).

It smelled almost minty through the plastic but I think it's very strawberry (or berry of a kind) once I broke a chunk off and swirled the indulgent pink water around it bubbled like a sweet potion of pink bliss! Instant regret for not buying more when I had the chance! The cute wee bugs are red body with large purple head and 4 purple spots on the back.

The water smelled so sweet and yummy the kids didn't want to get out and they smelled fantastic. It does dry my skin out a bit but adding a bath oil or good moisturiser after is well worth it.

WHY did I not buy more [sob]

I got this delightful wee bug over the Mothers day period, as Lush always bring out exclusive things for holidays. The red and purple really sung out to me.

The smell threw me off, the mint was quite in your face but in the bath it mellowed out. The ladybug crumbled quite easily and made a whole heap of bubbles and I only used half of her! I use a small sieve with my bubble bars under the running tap and it seems to make a decent amount of bubbles.

The water turns a delightful shade of pink, the bubbles are big and in your face, and the smell was very relaxing (surprisingly) and it didn't linger too long on my skin, something I'm not fussed about. This bubble bar was awesome and I'll be getting another next year!

Over the mothers day period Lush had mothers day boxes going. I headed over to Botany Downs to pick myself up a Mum box before mothers day because I was slightly fearful they might sell out. In this box is this cute lady bird bubble bar. I made a promise to my daughter that she could have the majority of this bubble. Funnily she let me have a portion of it.

This bubble bar is shaped like a cute little lady bird. My daughter fell in love with it at first sight. Its brightly coloured with vibrant pinks and purples. This scent reminds me of sweet strawberry bubble gum. Its very sweet.

When I filled my bath the water changed to a bright pinky red. I didn't notice any purple colouring at all. It bubbles up easily in my bath. I only needed a little bit. It smells like sweet berries while bathing. I also tried this on my shower puff to see if it lathered as a wash but it wasn't very foamy.

The only regret I have is not buying a supply for my daughter as this is limited edition. I enjoyed how quick it bubbled up. My body felt relaxed after this. This scent stays on my body which I enjoy. I My whole family is into Lush baths now. I will definitely buy this bubble bar again.

I'm a sucker for Lush limited editions so of course I picked this one up for 'the cat's mother' during the Mother's Day promotion. This is a big chunky bubble bar and I've managed to get three or four baths out if it. I don't remember exactly as I'm only just finishing it in September (I have too much Lush!)

This is a sweet smelling bubble bar but with the unusual addition of mint. By the last bath, I really didn't notice the mint in it, like I did in the beginning. I store my bubble bars wrapped in cling film in a cool dark cupboard but I do notice the scents still fade.

The small bit of the bar I had left produced masses of big, white, fluffy bubbles. I pop my chunks of bubble bar in a small net, then run the water through that. The water turned a dark pinky red.

This was a nice relaxing bath but I didn't find the scent particularly strong and it didn't linger on my skin. My skin felt soft afterwards but not moisturised so I felt I needed some body lotion, on my legs in particular.

I saw Manny MUA use this & I was sold from there on in. A cute little but bg bug that has a lovely sweet fragrance which could possible be the geranium. My kids & I love this & it's big enough to break & get quite a few uses from it. The bubbless produced from this cutey are fluffy & big with the shade of red & purple glimmer thru the water & bubbles itself glimmer there is slight glitter in it but nothing substantial such as the dragons egg bath bomb or the galaxy bubble bar but there is some glimmer. I feel like my skin is soften post bath g with this bar & my mind is relaxed that I sleep very well at night.
