These lip balms are not great. I disliked the texture and smell of them, which is a real turn-off. there was no real coloration either, the best part was the fact that for about half an hour, my lips felt semi moisturized. I've definitely had better.

I had seen the Badger Balms in many delicious sounding flavors on iherb, and finally in my last iherb haul, I picked one up in Creamy Cocoa.
The lip balm is bigger than any tube lip balm I have used before (it's 7g versus the average 4g). it also twists from the top not the bottom, which I'm personally not as struck on, but that's probably because it's different to what I'm used to.
The flavor is nice and the lip balm is smooth and creamy. It's reasonably hydrating and long lasting and I've been happy with the condition of my lips.
For me the measure of a lip balm is whether I'd buy it again, and I'd buy this again.
I bought this lip balm ages ago from Mighty Ape for around $5.00.
It comes in a small tube, brown, with a yellow top. It works similarly to a lipstick and pretty much the same as any tube lip balm. That suits me - simple but effective. I can't help wondering why they called the product 'badger'. A badger isn't the first animal I think of when I think of beauty!
I got the vanilla madagascar flavour. I don't find it too vanilla, it's actually very mild.
The product is soft and not greasy on my lips, and very moisturising. My lips can get quite dry and flakey and I really hate that feeling, but they're fine if I use this balm every day. I don't use lips scrub but I imagine the result would be even better if I did.
The product claims to moisturise your lips and make them feel great - well it does do that. I especially like that it has no petroleum, is animal cruelty free, and have gorgeous natural wax and oils.
A great product and well worth purchasing.
I love lip balm! Don't we all! I seem to have far too many of them, in my car, in my handbag, at work, on my dresser, by the bed, etc. However when one of my beautiful friends from BR sent me this in Tangerine Breeze it was a very welcome in my collection.
The packaging is your usual simple chapstick/lip balm packaging. This one has a orange top to it to reflect the Tangerine flavour. It screws up from the bottom as well. I love around the lid it says "Try It, Use It, Never Lose It". I love that they mention what always happens with lip balms.
The product itself is a light yellow shade, and smells tangerine-y and lemon-y which I really like. It feels nice and soft on the lips and extra moisturising. It tastes rather menthol-y though, but I try not to make a habit out of eating it. The moisturising effect feels more like an oily feeling rather than creamy. It also lasts quite a long time on the lips. I actually am really enjoying this, and when I eventually do lose it (because it will happen) I will be excited to try another flavour.
I really hate it when I get a beautifully scented lip balm but it has an offensive taste (*cough cough* Maybelline's Mango BabyLips, & Chapstick's Strawberry one.. *cough*) But this- is - perfect. It feels great, smells delicious, tastes like nothing... This Highland Mint lip balm has literally turned me into that annoying person who has to reapply every 47 seconds.
Tips: Beware: Makes you feel like you have fresh breath, when you probably don't.
I was a little disappointed with these balms. I bought the Rose Tourmaline Tinted balm and I'm sad to say it's not that great. There's no tint at all after application, just a light shimmer. The smell isn't appealing and neither is the taste. The texture is quiet thick and I didn't find them at all moisturising. I love the company and their ethics but I'm not a fan of their balms. Needless to say, I wont be repurchasing again.
I have this in ginger and lemon and expected to love it because I have 2 badger balm tins which I love so much (cheerful mind balm & sleep balm). It didn't wow me at all, it smells quite good but it doesn't moisturise my lips very well at all and I find that I have to reappy quite frequently. I wouldn't repurchase.
I purchased four of these in various scents and am sad to say they are not my favourite lip balm. They are very lightly moisturising and it would be alright if you wanted to apply it every half an hour. The scents are nice however I didn't like the lavender and orange one.
I really don't like this lip balm that much. I love the Badger body butters, but this is the first lip product I've tried from them, and it just is not particularly impressive. I've only tried the Mocha Cocoa Butter one (which doesn't seem to be listed in the ones above, but which is definitely part of this line!), but I'm not planning to try out any others.
The smell is definitely a cocoa butter smell; fairly strong, and not in a sweet 'candy' kind of way.
There's no noticeable taste to this product, which is a plus for me. It's fairly moisturising, lasts a few hours, feels okay on the lips. I don't feel like my lips stay moisturised after it's worn off, however, so I definitely have to reapply some form of lipbalm.
I really don't like the texture - it's quite lumpy feeling to apply, although it feels fairly smooth once it's actually on the lips. It's also quite a hard stick, and takes a bit of work to get on.
Eh. I like that it's natural, but I'd still reach for any of my Nivea balms over it any day. Won't be repurchasing.
Tips: If you're looking for a good natural lipbalm, I've heard amazing things about the Hurraw line - haven't tried them yet, but I'm definitely planning to when I run out of this!
The texture if this was grainy and thick. Coated my lips in uncomfortable slop. I disliked the feel of it. The smell was nice enough, but the feel of this ruined any good points for me.
