Tips: Tea tree oil can also be used to treat sunburn, easy itchiness caused by bites, and sores!
Tea tree oil has been a staple in my life for a good 10+ years now, Thursday Plantation makes it affordable and accessible.
When my skin is oily and breaking out I like to add a drop to a bottle of rosehip oil to use as a moisturiser at night along with a few drops in my apple cider vinegar & purified water mix I use as a toner. Worried about cooties going around? a few drops in shampoo seems to deter the pesky little devils while also helping to keep the scalp nourished and dandruff free. Need a multi-purpose cleaner? I like to add a few drops to a spray bottle along with 1:3 ratio of white vinegar/water.
Tips: While tea tree oil is super amazing and effective when it comes to healing and fighting bacteria, please be careful for deep wounds such as abscesses and nasty cuts that the surface heals over before the bacteria inside has vacated!
I love tea tree oil it's an absolute staple in our house and the Thursday Plantation Tea Tree oil does an outstanding job.
My number 1 use for tea tree oil is keeping pimples at bay. I use as spot application on really bad pimples otherwise I dilute a few drops into rosehip oil and apply to my whole face and it helps clear pimples right up.
The products does have a very strong smell, but that's just tea tree oil in general! The hubby hates it if I put it on my face before bed lol.
It also has many great uses around the house and kids, can be used on bug bites and cuts as an antiseptic.
Love, love, love it and will make sure we always have some on hand
When moving a few months ago I was after a product to provide a long lasting scent that was natural and able to be used about the home for multiple purposes. I got this in a black box and have since repurchased. I used it in cleaning products to sanitise and clean along with providing a fresh scent. After we sold I could stop all the cleaning so I kept this in the first aid kit. After reading online you could use this to treat nails I actually tried this. I have weak nails that are constantly chipping after having babies and I definitely think this has strengthened my nails and also made them whiter too in my opinion. I have also used this on my pimples I get around my hair line.. they are quite painful hormonal pimples and this I feels cools them and cleans. Living close to the river I have used this on itchy bites also and it seems to definitely cool them also.. I have used products that claim to reduce itching but they haven't worked any better than the tea tree oil has. We use a lot of oils in this house wether it's in a vapouriser, diffuser.. or if we use them straight from the bottle to clean or treat. Definitely a great way to reduce certain chemicals in our household. A little goes a long way and can be diluted easily. Sometimes hard to get exactly 3 drops out. Also hard to see how much is left but I understand the amber bottle protects the product so some compromise must be made.
Tips: Use their website to see all the recommendations for use theres actually a lot out there on this. Read any cautions prior to use some oils I know are bad for animals so might have to check before applying to your body and then cuddling your cat for example.
It works wonders! I love this product, I use it for itchy bites, pimples and disinfecting cuts, bites etc. It has a very strong, but nice smell, I would buy again because it's a useful product to have around the house.
I have tried this on my oily and acne prone skin and it’s okay. One time I had accidentally popped a pimple so I put some on and the next day it came out to a huge whitehead, the biggest I had had in years. It does help with dying down the redness of acne but doesn’t overall kill it. I also have found it is good at keeping my ear infections at bay because my ear piercing will commonly get infected or irritated, and that stops it for about 1-2 weeks.
I love this product! I have struggled with acne for a few years and have only just started using tea tree oil to control it. I dab a small amount on any forming pimples every night after I wash my face, and the next morning they are always significantly smaller and gone the next day! I have never used anything as effective at minimising spots than this, and will continue to use it until my acne is fully under control! After only a few weeks of using this tea tree oil every night, my skin has already cleared up significantly so I would definitely recommend this to anyone who struggles with breakouts. BONUS: it smells fantastic!
Tips: Dab a little straight onto any blemishes at night, or any that are starting to come up to significantly reduce nightmare pimples.
I use this for everything. Piercings, steam, itchy bits, pimples and almost anything that needs to be be kept clean from infection by an antiseptic. Will forever buy and use this first aid kit antic epic oil.
Tips: Use to easy itchy bits and on those lumps from piercings. Even a few drops on some steam to inhale and burn that flu away
I really like this product. The tea tree oil is in a nice little bottle that comes out in drops which is really handy because you only need a few drops at a time. I have used it on my kids hair after they had nits and even used some mixed into my shampoo to prevent me from getting them too. It works great for pimples, I put a little bit onto a cotton bud and dab it onto them. I've also used it on cuts before aswell. It's a really handy and great product to have in the house!
I love tea tree oil for so many different reasons! I know a lot of people who don't like the smell (it is very strong) but I love tea tree oil and anything tea tree oil based! I love using it straight on my skin for acne, or diluting it down in to some moisturiser sometimes is quite good too. I remember when I was a kid mum used to also add it to our shampoo or conditioner to keep nits away! I find this really great to keep around the house as it's also wonderful for insect bites. It is so multi purpose and isn't full of nasties!
Tips: Tea tree oil is fab for acne, but be careful not to go too over board as it is quite drying and if you're skin gets too dry that can create more break outs!
