The name says it all really! If you're after a light weight moisturiser that soaks in and doesn't leave skin all greasy this is it. It smells yummy like a sweet vanilla.
I used it as a body moisturiser and hand moisturiser. I liked it as a hand one when doing computer work as it didn't leave the keyboard sticky!
It's perfect for dry sensitive skin. I never reacted with it. I would also mix it into a doctors tub of cream. It would help scent it and would add lovely moisturiser in it.
This lotion is actually discontinued now from Lush but I bought a small bottle of it on a facebook lush buy/sell page. I really enjoy vanilla scents and even though it's not something I could easily pick up again if I feel in love, I just really wanted to give it a go.
This comes in a clear bottle, the same as the shower gels. Most lotions from lush are in pot form but I think it is easier to use when you can just squeeze the bottle. This has a black label, again the same as the lush shower gels and it has the best before sticker with a picture of who made it on there.
The lotion is decently thick, it will hold it's shape when I squeeze it out. It rubs into my skin reasonably easily, although sometimes if I use to much it can be a bit hard to absorb. I don't feel sticky after using it and my skin does feel nice and smooth. I don't particulary like the scent. I definitely don't get a lot of vanilla, it smells maybe a little woody to me? I'm really not sure how to describe the scent, it's pretty light too. I don't find it overpowering. Just before I started using this, I was using a dove vanilla lotion and I loved the strong scent of vanilla from that so I guess I was hoping for the same here. I know that lush is full of good ingredients but I wouldn't purchase this again even if it wasn't discontinued. Lush is expensive and I'd rather buy something I love the whole way.
