Cancer Society After Sun Gel

This is a staple in our medicine cabinet now. it is amazing as an after sun product and instantly cools and relieves sunburn. I also found it amazing for heat burns aswell and helps to heal them super quick and keep the air out so less pain!

In summer I have a naughty habit of not applying sunscreen to all areas of my body, mostly because I can't reach or I am too lazy (slaps hand). On one day in particular I remember being at the beach for five hours with out so much as a sun hat and one application of sunscreen. In between that five hours there were countless swims and shenanigans so of course the sunscreen would have worn off.

I get home to shower and trying to dry myself I yelp in pain from the bad sunburn I got as a souvenir OUCH!! My skin blistered it was that bad. I got the hubby to apply Cancer Soceity After Sun Gel and oohhhh the relief was almost instantaneous! It was like wearing a big cool blanket of relief. I applied this everyday, twice a day for five days. My skin felt less painful and usually I would peel but this time I just tanned.

I keep this in the fridge because it's not only great for sunburn but for minor burns and abrasions. It's great cooling effect is so refreshing and welcome. Despite the price I would buy it anyway to have on hand at all times. I learned a valuable lesson after that about wearing and reapplying sunscreen all the time even on cloudy days. I know that if it weren't for After Sun Gel my skin would have been a train wreck. It's a must have for anyone!

This is my go-to whenever I'm sunburnt and in need of a gel to help soothe the heat and pain. It cools the skin upon contact leaving you feeling relieved instantly. It absorbs into the skin fast and doesn't leave any kind of residue behind. Depending on the severity of the sunburn it may need to be applied more often to keep the cooling sensation. Definitely on of my must-haves whenever summer comes around

I have incredibly pale skin, and as much as I try to be good with sunscreen I occasionally seem to miss a spot. For that reason I always keep a tube of this in my fridge.

The packaging of this is actually really good! I like that it is in a clear tube. You always know how much you have left. I also like that you can see the bright blue shade through it. Also as the cap to get the product out is at the bottom you never struggle to get the product out.

The product itself is fantastic. It is very thin so easy to smooth on your skin without dragging which is great on when you have red inflamed skin. The scent is just of aloe vera which I really like, smells just like summer to me which is probably a bad thing given that probably means I get sunburnt too much! The product feels like a smooth serum when you apply it, probably why it sinks in so well.

I love keeping this in the fridge so when I get sunburnt that night I can apply this on my skin and it is nice and cold. That means it cools my skin while sinking in. Love that. It sinks in nice and fast and leaves my skin feeling a lot better.

For me this is something that I always have to have in the fridge, a must have.

This is great if you've been sun burned or even if you just feel hot. The gel soothes the pain of a sunburn and moisturises so that your skin stops peeling. It also absorbs very well. I don't go out much nowadays so I don't really get sunburned but I still use this when my face feels hot. I works well as a moisturiser and leaves skin feeling clean and soft.

This is definitely a must have during the summer! When you're out in the sun, whether you burn or not, this is the perfect product to apply afterwards to help rehydrate and nourish your skin. It doesn't absorb as quickly or as much as I would like, but it makes up for it with its pleasant scent and effectiveness in smoothing sun exposed skin, and helping cool sun burn.

I first bought this a few years ago because I feel In love with the blue bubbly contents. Now I use it all the time, mainly when I get sunburnt, and it helps so much! It gets rid of the heat on you're skin, (though it might take a few applications to last) and it just feels like thick water when you put it on, plus absolutely no greasy feelings at all! I was also glad to no in had aloe Vera in it as this does wonders to the skin, and it even smells quite nice, it completely rehydrayted my skin (and doesn't cause acne!) and left me feeling refreshed! Highly recommend this product.

Ok I have used this many times over the years. The packing is so durable, I have had one tube last me two years and it's still going strong! Usually the lid breaks off (on other products)!

It is an amazing relief to sunburn. The ONLY downside I have found is that it's a tad sticky when its in the process of being absorbed, but it's 110% worth it!!

It smells lovely and even my daughter loved it last year when she got the tips of her ears burnt!

Definitely a cupboard staple for summer! :)

This is the best stuff out there for sun burn and other burns it is soothing smells nice easy to apply and fast acting the kids love using it highly suggest you get some for around the house

I dont think there is anyone out there who have tried this that dont swear by it ! definitely a must have for summer ! so soothing to sunburnt skin, and definitely the best after sun gel out there !
