Dove Beauty Bar Review

Nothing to really rave about. This used to be the number one soap in my household. But since it's replacement, the Dettol soap (we swapped because it's better for my daughters skin when her eczema flares up and gets infected) I realised that soaps all do the same thing. It just comes down to skin types and preference. Don't get me wrong, it's a great soap and I would definitely buy it again, but I just didn't notice any difference with this soap, good or bad actually. So I don't feel like it does what it claims to do, but it hasn't made my skin worse, it hasn't reacted badly to my skin type, or my daughters for that matter and she has incredibly sensitive skin. So that's great :)

It is the only solid soap bar I buy! It leaves your skin feeling so soft, smooth and moisturised. It is gentle on sensitive skin and smells great! I cannot fault this soap at all, it is better than any others ive tried. When its wet it foams to a creamy milky type of substance which makes it easy to apply, almost like a watery moisturiser. I love dove beauty bars and would definitely recommend them to everyone reading this review.

Great!!! It's smells so good. It's the only bar soap I use. It's not to expensive and it makes you feel clean and refreshes

Have tried this many times, and works well as a simple cleanser. Haven't had any reactions to it, which is quite pleasing for my sensitive skin, and isn't too fragranced. I feel like fragranced cleansers are nice, but the scent fades so quickly in body washes I've tried, that it isn't worth adding extra fragrance chemicals.

I have very sensitive skin and most soaps make my skin itch. Dove soap is nice and moisturising, has a smell that isnt over potent. Yes it may be a bit pricier than other soaps, but for what it does it is def worth it! Moisturises your skin, i even use it on my face-thats how delicate a soap it is!! Love it

Best soap ever! I don't use any other soap but DOVE!...It leaves my skin feeling soft and smelling amazing! It's such a soft, fresh, delicate smell! I take my Dove soap everywhere I go! Its perfect for my skin type which is dry and delicate :) makes it feel so much better!

I don't use any other soaps. Smells gorgeous and leaves my skin feeling smooth & moisturized without making my skin feel tight or anything! I buy in bulk :-)

I'm not a fan of anything in the Dove range and the soap is no exception. I really think the brand is so popular due to good marketing.

I find the smell to be a bit too strong and not actually pleasant. it's kind old ladyish really. I find you go through it too quickly as it lathers up A LOT and gets gluggy if left near water. I don't find other soaps "strip my skin" so haven't noticed an improvement after using this bar. So, no, I don't think it does what it says it will do at all. It's also far too expensive for a product that doesn't last all that long. Would only use again if I was given it, would not actually spend money on it.

cheap, and cleans your skin. not much to say about it! give this a go for just your standard everyday body soap :)

What can I say about this? Nothing bad; that's what! The packaging - simple yet elegant. The shape - simple, elegant and cute. The smell is so good. One of my favourite smells. Lathers up easy so you don't need much, which means the bar lasts ages. It leaves your skin feeling clean fresh and nourished. And its soooo cheap! 10/10
