First of all, I love the packaging of this product - nice & natural. Up until now my paw paw ointment had been my "everything balm", but this product has definitely taken over in some areas. I found it EXCELLENT as a lip balm, with a gorgeous smell. I also get very dry hands, mostly my knuckles and so I tried it on them and it has been wonderful in repairing the damage. I've also used it on my face focusing on one or two dry areas and it has cleared them up too. Have yet to try it on my 15month olds bottom but I believe it will also be great for nappy rash. I've used it on her dry cheeks and it works great. I have everything good to say about this product - it's great to find something that does what it says! Definitely a keeper :)

Tips: Rub into dry areas (face, hands, feet, knees) before bed - come morning there will be no more dryness.
Trilogy is a major brand so it is natural to expect a lot. In that respect maybe I am not very happy but if I take the brand name out of the picture it is a pretty alright balm. I love the all natural fragrance and the fact that it turned out to be an excellent night cream. My skin was very soft the next morning! Loved it :) However there were some problematic areas like my nose ridge and tip of my chin that still had flaky skin after the application of this balm ( when used as a day cream) As a lip conditioner it is an excellent balm, my lips were not dry for at all at least upto 5 hours after the first application. It is great for the senstive skin under my eyes as well and also as acuticle cream. All in all it almost did everything it said. The only problem, oily nose after an hour of first application and dry flaky skin on the nose ridge and chin (when used as a day cream) .
We have a pottle of this sitting in our "family maintenance drawer" for easy access when we need it.
My first impressions of this product was that it was quite a hard, waxy consistency so it definitely had to be warmed before I used it. I mainly used it for dry areas like my elbows and areas on the backs of my hands and it did moisturise them.
I did not use it on my face or lips because I didn't find it very hygenic as you have to use your fingers to apply the product and due to the pottle packaging (no pump or small opening to tip the product out) you really had to use your fingers to scoop out the product.
Overall I prefer the Elizabeth Arden 8h cream which is a similar product but easier to apply.
First of all the packaging - very 'natural' and rather plain which for a natural product I guess is pretty good but if I was buying for the first time, I have to admit it wouldn't get my attention. However the pottle inside was a total different story.
Opened the pottle up, excited to be trialing another great Trilogy product and the first thing that put me off was the smell. I'm afraid that it's just not a smell that's for me so I was quite hesitant about trying it. The balm was extremely hard to get out so warming first was an absolute must do and I was curious about trying it across my forehead as I have really dry skin there and I'm always looking for something that will eliminate the dryness. This product wasn't it. I did find it helped with dry elbows etc and other less sensitive areas but for my face this wasn't a product I would personally use again. However my friend tried it and absolutely loved it so it just shows how different we all are and how different products affect us in different ways
At first, I was a little skeptical about using the balm anywhere, but after reading on the box that it is perfectly fine to use on babies, I was reassured. On the first day I tried it on my lips as they were suffering chapped winter lips and I haven't used anything else since. It conditions your lips really well, I apply before bed and when I wake up I have soft smooth lips. I like the Everything Balm as it has a beeswax base (rather than a petroleum base) which is absorbed rather quickly. I also tried it on my acne on my face, it seemed to have cleared up a lot by the next day! I like that the balm is semi-hard in the pottle as it means that it doesn't move around a lot and you only get a little bit out. I also tried it on my elbows, as elbows are always dry and I didn't see a huge difference, but maybe I didn't put enough on? The scent of the balm is really nice, it reminds me of a oil mum had when I was a kid. Another thing I like about the Trilogy Everything Balm is that it is made in New Zealand, as the Trilogy products are. Thanks BR and Trilogy for giving me a chance to review the Everything Balm
Tips: Leave your finger in the pottle for a little while until the balm melts, then it is easier to apply.
This is a wonder product. A must have.
Firstly the packaging - it's so unassuming from the outside, but then you open it and 'pow', you're hit with a glorious mix of colours. I love the surprise! But not as much as the surprise in the pot!
Opening it you're greeted with the most delicious scent. The balm feels slightly oily initially but once rubbed into the skin was not at all. As I was in a sharing is caring mood I allowed The Husband to use some on his dry hands and he was amazed at how moisturised they were, especially as he only used a little product. My one year old daughter currently has quite dry cheeks so I rubbed balm on those and they definitely improved (and there was no reaction, so it really can be used on babies as the box states). So far I've used Everything Balm on my hands and cuticles, under my eyes and on my lips, all with great success.
This wonder balm is going into my handbag and will definitely be replaced once it runs out.
Tips: It can definitely be used as a lip balm however I did find it infused my mouth with a slightly medicine-y taste.
This product is amazing! I loved it! I applied it as a face moisturizer all over for 2 days and after just those 2 days my face felt amazing! Will definitely be continuing to use this product and purchasing more
Tips: Make sure you rub it so there are no lumps of product left and make sure you warm it in your hands, it makes it so much easier to apply that way.
Wow this balm is just magic, It works so well on any dry or itchy areas, it is great for hands, elbows, knees any where - providing long lasting intensive moisture. I even used it on my dry heels plus on my poor neglected feet for a much needed massage. It is very rich and a small amount goes a long way. This will be great to have on hand in the summer if I get hassled by pesky mozzies as I am sure it will be great on any bites. It smells so lovely, very uplifting and It definitely nourishes and protects as they claim on the label, I used a little on my lips when I had forgotten to use my lip balm before I went for a walk on a frosty morning, I was worried it would taste bad but in fact I didn't notice it and my lips stayed soft and supple. The list of ingredients is impressive including Honey and Jojoba Oil along with many others, best of all it's natural and not tested on animals, I loved the little box that exploded with colour when it was opened. Actually - I love everything about it, I will buy again and would recommend to friends.
Tips: If my hands are especially dry I rub a small amount in then I use one of my normal hand creams, put on some warm gloves and go for a walk thus allowing time for my hands to get the benefits of an intensive moisturising treatment. This works great.
This balm does everything is says, I tried in on my lips and it felt lovely and on my dry hands as well and cracked skin. It definitely moisturises and nourishes your skin so I would recommend it for that. My only issue which really is a personal thing is I didn't love the smell as it was just a little bit strong for me and I did struggle getting the balm out of the container. Once you do have it out you just warm it in your hands to use and it goes on smoothly. Even so I would recommend this to anyone who like to have a balm you can use for anything. Enjoy
Absolutely LOVE this balm! It did exactly what it said it would, I am even using it on my three year old, He has really dry skin, now after using it for a couple of days, his skin feels amazing! It works well on your face as a lovely moistueriser too. Definatly reccomend this product!
