This product is just lovely! I put a drop on my skin every evening and it leaves my skin feeling beautifully moisturised without feeling oily. I have combination skin with PCOS acne and it doesn’t clog my pores, cause breakouts or any sensitivities.

Tips: A little bit goes a long way. Put on a drop or two before your moisturiser.
I purchased this serum about six months ago and have been using it every second day. I must say that I am not the biggest fan of the scent however the product itself has worked great on my skin. As my skin is on the more sensitive side I do not use it every day however, the product really helps to keep my skin hydrated as it is on the dryer side. I have noticed that my skin does look bouncier after using this and it works really well after washing your face.
Tips: I have found that using this serum in your nighttime skincare routine works the best and pairing it with a moisturiser and a niacidimide serum also showed great results for skin hydration :)
I enjoy using this serum, it has a watery consistency similar to their other non-oil serums (Worship, Glow Ritual etc) it applies nicely and leaves your face feeling hydrated with a dewy glow. I really love the lavender-rose scent it smells amazing. The bottle is a good size you only need a few drops per application and mine has lasted almost a year with occasional use, with daily use I’d expect it would last at least 3 months. Depending on your budget it’s on the pricier side ($35 - $45) but you can find it on sale often for less, also it’s available in a mini-size for around $10 - $15 depending where you purchase. I can’t really comment on the claim that it increases collagen production as I’ve used it sporadically, however I did find my skin felt hydrated and plump with each use. I’ve tried a few of their serums now and I think this is one of their best so I would recommend this to a friend or anyone looking at buying one of their serums.
I purchased two Antipodes lipsticks from Healthpost and received this serum as a free gift. It comes in a nice 30ml glass bottle with a glass dropper lid. Quite a thin and runny serum which is light brown in colour, 3 to 4 drops does my whole face and neck and I also apply a few drops onto backs of my hands. A very distinctive but not unpleasant smell and it sinks into skin quickly. Lovely natural ingredients too. I apply morning before moisturiser and nightly, it leaves my skin soft and glowing. Another fantastic New Zealand made product.
Tips: Some shops have 3 for 2 deals and Antipodes is 30% off at Life and Unichem pharmacy.
This is such a nice serum. It doesn't feel tightening or drying on the skin, it's the opposite! I use every night and usually don't even use moisturiser afterwards as it feels hydrated from this! I pair it with the Hallelujah cream cleanser and my face feels super hydrated. I also have pregnancy hormones atm, with pimples coming through - this seems to help keep them at bay and stop them from getting worse!
Tips: A little goes a long way. Pair with a cream cleanser and a light moisturiser - good to go.
I needed a new serum and saw that Farmers had 3 for 2 on Antipodes products and headed straight there. I picked this one out because heading into winter I knew my skin would need more hydration than usual. I really like the packaging of the Antipodes serums, it is very reliable and I haven't had a dodgy one that was hard to get the product out of. This serum smells amazing, to me it smells like baby powder and I just love it. The serum is a medium texture than what I would normally expect for a serum. It's not thick but its not too runny either. I am blessed with pretty good skin anyway but this serum made it look a little bit brighter and plumper than usual. It made a nice addition to my skincare routine and I was also using an Antipodes toner and moisturiser with the serum. I would definitely repurchase this serum, it isn't cheap but it lasts well and using it morning and sometimes at night too it lasted me 3-4 months.
Like the previous reviewer said, I'm wondering if I tried the same product! The product is natural and has a woody colour, so you couldn't use it if you planned on popping to the shops. I have used it after dermaroller, it doesn't enflame the area, but it doesn't soothe it either. I do believe it helps in the overall healing of the area, but for me, there is better products out there for post derma-roller.
I am a big fan of natural and organic products, so Antipodes is a great brand for these because it has high quality organic products that are available at several retailers. Everything I have previously tried from their brand has been excellent, so I guess I was just expecting a little bit more than I got for this product.
This product is said to hydrate thirsty skin and keep it hydrated as well as protecting it from environmental damage. It is also said to foster healthy cell renewal and improve skin appearance over time.
I found this product quite tacky on the skin (as in the sticky tacky) and very average in its hydration. I also found the product did not last nearly as long as other serums I’ve used. I was stunned how quickly I went through it. So long term effects such as improving the appearance of skin over time were also not seen.
Now I’m not sure if there was some manufacturing fault with my serum because it doesn’t sound like what other people have described, but that’s what it was like for me unfortunately. So for me I wouldn’t purchase this again, but the other Antipodes serum I’ve used I would purchase again, so I guess it was lucky I tried that one first.
Being a 30 something I’m only too aware of the affects years of running around in the sun and not looking after my skin have made so the idea that my collagen production would be enhanced was a win for me! After using it for two weeks I have noticed my skin again is looking brighter, pores have reduced in size,my skin feels smoother and very well hydrated
The serum is 100% water based and as a result spreads beautifully , I only use 2-3 drops to cover my face and neck during my morning and night routine. Overall I am very pleased with the results, the product delivers what it claims and I’m looking forward to purchasing more from the Antipodes Scientific Organic Range.
Tips: Pat lightly onto your face
I normally love Antipodes serums and while I don’t hate it, it’s not my favourite hydrating serum. It comes in the traditional glass bottle with a dropper which I’m a huge fan of as you can see how much you’re using. While this did hydrate my skin it wasn’t as hydrating as some cheaper Hyaluronic acid serums I’ve tried. While the texture is very lightweight I’m not a fan of the smell. It reminds me of baby oil and tends to linger on the skin. Some people may love the fragrance but it’s probably the reason I won’t purchase this product again. If you can get past the scent then it’s a decent hydrating serum.
