I bought the coconut, shea butter and manuka honey body wash from Countdown for $5.99 as I have used their washing powder, multi purpose spray and bubble bath. I like the Earthwise brand as they use natural ingredients and are environmentally friendly.
The bottle is 400ml and has a pump top which gives you a perfect amount for whole body application. For $5.99 it is a medium price body wash. It is a decent amount which lasted two months for myself and my daughter. The bottle is white, with modern lettering it explains how the body wash is free from SLS, parabens, palm oil and synthetic dyes and how it is made in New Zealand.
The smell of subtle coconut is the main scent that is noticeable, no honey scent unfortunately as it states in the title, the scent does not last on my skin at all, once I am out of the shower I can no longer smell the wash, which is disappointing.
The consistency is a thin gel that slightly foams as you rub it on your skin, it felt nourishing on my skin which I enjoyed, it did not strip my skin and cause dryness which I have found with other gel body washes.
I would recommend this product if it was on a sale, as I like that it is chemical free, and the packaging is environmentally friendly. A pleasant scent and made in New Zealand.
Picked this up in a 1L from my local Countdown for $7. Primarily because it is a NZ company, cruelty free, no harsh chemicals and palm oil free. I am very much into using products that meet all the above requirements.
Scentwise, it is quite suttle. You can smell the Coconut, Shea Butter and Manuka Honey. It's not overpowering. Unfortunately it doesn't linger on the skin either which is a bit of a shame as I love products that do. Especially after a shower.
I prefer the Energise bodywash over this one, it smells better to me. In saying that, I would purchase again in the future.
