Mecca Cosmetica To Save Face SPF 30 Facial Sunscreen Review

I purchased this after reading reviews online and boy oh boy was I not disappointed. Despite being a thicker consistency to what I would prefer, it applies like a dream and absorbs well into skin. This does not leave a ghastly white layer like most products and is not thick and suffocating on my skin like many other products I have tried.

I love the scent. I love how it wears. I love how beautifully it applies.

It is great alone or under make up, there is no horrible white flash back in photos when used under foundation.

This does not sting or hurt my eyes if I am working out or go swimming which is a huge plus in my books. It washes off beautifully after wear and does not leave a nasty film or horrible layer that requires scrubbing to remove.

I love this product, will continue to buy it again and again and cannot recommend it enough!

I have always worn sunscreen every day but have tried various brands over the years in search of something perfect for my combination, blemish prone skin. Sunscreens would often feel heavy on my skin, leave an oily residue or interfere with the application of my makeup. That was until I started using the Mecca SPF 30 Facial Sunscreen at the start of the 2016 summer.

The packaging is simple and all of the product can be squeezed out. It smooths easily over my face and I can apply makeup straight away, although I usually try to wait a few minutes. As it is a sunscreen, there is definitely a strong scent, but it is fresh and summery, not unpleasant. Once it has been applied I can no longer smell it. The best part about this sunscreen for me is that it feels lightweight and often unnoticeable on my skin, and my makeup applies exactly the same as it would without the sunscreen underneath. This makes it easier to keep sunscreen as part of my daily routine.

The price is higher than a supermarket sunscreen, but is certainly competitive with cosmetic brand sunscreens. I also find that I don't have to use a moisturiser in the morning when I'm using this so I am saving costs by only needing a night cream. It also lasts a long time as a little goes a long way.

I have purchased a range of Mecca sunscreens and unless anything changes, I will be sticking to this brand.

I discovered this gem a couple of years ago and now I buy it at the start of summer and it lasts me well into the year. My fair skin burns easily and this product has never let me down. It is light, absorbs easily and is very hydrating and comfortable on my skin. It has a light fresh/floral scent and very subtle light reflecting agents to make your skin a bit luminous. What I love about it is how well it sits under makeup- it doubles as a good primer which I love. Definitely give this one a go when you get a chance- it's an extremely effective facial sunscreen that doesn't feel like sunscreen at all.

This Sunscreen is a must have!!! It doesn't have a strong scent, isn't too think, blends well, and doesn't leave the skin oily. Perfect to use under makeup on a hot sunny day without everything sliding off your face!!

We all know we should be wearing sunscreen every day. I've not been the best at doing this because I just hate wearing it, especially on my face, as most of them just feel greasy and heavy. This changes everything! I picked the small size up in Mecca on a whim, not expecting to be wowed. I was so wrong! This just feels like lovely skincare. I don't bother using moisturiser during the day anymore as this is moisturising enough on its own. It's non-greasy and absorbs well and even acts as a primer under makeup (so that's two extra products it replaces!). I've never been burnt using this and a small tube lasts ages. The spf 50 is also great and has a slight tint (this one is white but doesn't leave a cast). I have already repurchased this as I am now a daily sunscreen wearer and also recommend this to anyone who asks me about sunscreen.

This product is a non sticky non smelly and reliable source product. Its no fuss packaging is probably why th e price is low. I use this as a base under makeup or witgout makeup and it doesn't interfere with my makeup. What it is- a cream type sunscreen not thick but neither runny. Has no pungent scent and spreads without any greasy residue like most sunscreens. The component is a white tube that sits flat on its screw top lid. This is a easy use product however not totally rreliabl sunscreen to be used alone if you're to be outside in the sun alone. If you're going to be going out to the beach I'd advise reapplication especially if you're swimming as this isn't protective enough. However if it's for daily use to and from your usual routines it's going to help with age prevention and sun damage.

I received a small one of these in a Mecca Loop Box and fell in love with it! We all know we should be wearing sunscreen daily and this one is perfect to add to your skincare routine!

The product is lightweight and works great under makeup, it is not greasy or sticky at all. It also leaves a nice finish on your skin and is absorbed quickly so it looks good if you are not wearing any makeup for the day! Perfect for holidays and trips away, no more shiny sunscreen faces!

I have never used a sunscreen with a matte finish before, and I love it. This sunscreen feels so nice on my face, it is not greasy at all. The smell is pleasant, and overall just a great product. I had been hesitant to wear sunblock every day as it is usually a shiny greasy mess, but this product has converted me to a daily sunscreen wearer. I will definitely repurchase. I have only taken a star off as it's a wee bit more expensive than the ones I have tried before, but I think it is worth it.

This is my holy grail sunscreen, I don't find it oily which is fantastic. It smells yummy compared to other sunscreens and it also, has Vitamin E in it which leaves my face feeling refreshed and glowing!
