Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser Pink Grapefruit Review

Back in my heyday of being an all knowing teenager this was THE face wash. If you didn't use this, then stay away heathen! I first picked up a bottle when I was in the USA for pennies compared to what I eventually paid in NZ when I bought it again. Luckily I've grown out of that phase, and out of this face wash.

The thing that drew me in all those years ago, even now when I see it on the shelf, is that darn pink. It calls to me, practically glowing as if a single sun ray was shining down telling me to buy it. I have to be firm, because as much as I want to buy it, this cleaned so deep my face was left feeling dry and dull.

The smell is soooo good. I love it. I think that's also another reason why I liked it so much, was the fruity uplifting vibes it gave off. It was gooood. It foams a wee bit, as we all know foam is the only way to know if something is clean! I also really liked the pump, it was no fuss and easy to use, and got all of the product unlike pumps these days that only get half the product.

As I said, this dried my face out something fierce, but during that time I had little to no breakouts, so I didn't see it as a huge issue. Again, luckily, I've seen the error of my ways. I think if I were to use this again I'd be better prepared with the after skin care, but otherwise, I wouldn't purchase again. Having the desire to physically rip your skin off your face isn't worth it!

I decided to give this product a try, and I love it , it smells amazing keeps pimples at bay, leaves my face feeling fresh and clean. The hand pump is an excellent idea, I love the colour and what is does for my face, does not dry your skin out removes all the oil off your face. Love it.

Love the great old recipe with this new fresh scent, making for lovely looking packaging too. A bit harsh if you not used to the acidity so wouldn't reccomend for sensitive skin. Best suited for acne prone skin.
