This is my first time using a tissue type mask product. I have sensitive skin and have had issues with other mask products that are left on for 15-20 minutes before being washed off. You don't wash this product off after removing the mask so there is prolonged skin contact with the serum. Pleased to say I didn't have any irritation with this product. The only thing I didn't like was how close the tissue mask was to my eyes. While I didn't get any product in my eyes it did feel uncomfortable around the underside of my eyes. However, the results were better than expected, my skin was soft and glowing afterwards. I used the excess product on my neck area. Don't know what the gold is about though, seems like a marketing gimmick.

I warn you I love Spandau Ballet and this review might be hard to get through without hearing that classic song. I apologise in advance if I give you an earworm...
Is there anything more posh than bathing your face in gold? [GOLD!] I don't think so!
This was easy to unfold and apply, it adhered well considering it was slathered in serum.
I left it on for ages. Like me and this mask probably saw our gold [GOLD!] anniversary. It was kind of cooling, kind of soothing. It just felt good.
So after soaking my face in gold [GOLD!] what did it look like? Radiant darling. Radiant.
I wish this wasn't quite so expensive but that's ok, I'll be using this for a treat. With Spandau Ballet in the background.
Tips: Get inside that sachet and use the excess serum on your neck and decolletage
My work stocks the Dr LeWinns masks, so it’s been a great excuse for me to work my way through trying them all.. so far, this one is my favourite. I like their packaging and appreciate that there’s no extra plastic sheet inside the foil. I am a sucker for sheet masks, I love pampering myself with a face mask but I absolutely dread having to wash off thick layers of clay masks, so sheet masks are my ideal. I have quite dry skin so I like to give it an extra boost with hydrating sheet masks. This one is lovely, it’s loaded with enough serum that I can pat in the excess to my neck and chest, but no so much it’s dripping from the sheet. It leaves my skin feeling very hydrated and dewy, with no irritations or break outs whatsoever. There is no strong scent which is nice, and it feels amaazing if you put it in the fridge first. To be honest, I think the whole 24k gold thing is a bit of a gimmick, but it makes me feel a little extra special when I have my pamper nights, so I’m not complaining! Overall love this mask and I will (and have!) continue to repurchase.
Tips: Keep in the fridge for an extra soothing feel!
I put off using this mask for ages becuase I'm a little tired of slime-y, slide-y face masks. And I assumed this one would be just more of the same.
Firstly, the mask comes in a lovely black sachet. The mask is right inside and that is great no double packaging.
When I pulled it out it was slime-y and I started by rubbing extra product into my neck. But strangely, once the mask was on, and it fitted beautifully, the product absorbed quickly and it was slime-y no more. One of the best things is that the mask stayed in place and I was able to be walking around doing my usual daily chores, instead of having to lie down for 20 minutes - which I find annoying.
After I removed the mask there was no surplus product and the result was lovely, soft hydrated skin that looks and feels fresh and bright.
I love the result and highly recommend this mask. I will certainly use it again myself.
Tips: Apply to clean skin and leave for 20 minutes as recommended.
Picked this up in the boxing day vault. Very official and information loaded packaging. The mask itself was folded inside the sachet without additional plastic sheeting which I liked. The gold side was applied facing outside. It was very dense with serum. I left mine in the fridge before application as I wanted a cooling mask.
My skin does look brighter and hydrated. The excess serum I just rubbed in to face/neck/decolletage and my arms as there was more than enough in the packet to do so.
I don't really understand what the 24k gold is for and don't believe it made any additional difference. Seems more like a gimmick/selling point than something that actually provides a purpose.
As a standard sheet mask with the serum I think it's great and serves it's purpose. I rarely get sheet masks in general but this particular one i'm not interested in repurchasing.
Tips: Excess serum in the packaging can be used for other body parts as a moisturiser.
I love sheet masks and managed to get a few different ones of these in the Vault. Thanks BR. I like the foil packaging, it looks high end to me and is easy to tear open.
Instructions are laid out clearly on the back. The mask itself is gold which is pretty cool. It was easy to unfold and not dripping with too much product. I liked it didn't have any silly layers I needed to peel off. Simply place on your face and adjust....easy.
It fit my face well and stayed put the whole time. The outside of the mask felt quite dry, however when I peeled it off there was a lot of product left on my face which I gently massaged in. It was sticky for a bit but thankfully dried down....I hate a sticky face!
I have dry skin and this definitely gave me a burst of hydration. My face felt incredibly soft and supple. It did not break me out at all or cause any irritation. The next day I noticed it was still soft and my foundation glided on beautifully. As for the wrinkles it softened the ones around my eyes but I think you would need to use this regularly for better results.
Overall this is a lovely mask and I am slowly working my way through the range so I can pick my favourites.
As far as masks go this one is good, but not anything wow.
It feels a bit fancy with the mask itself being gold, and it is completely saturated in product, so it's certainly one of those really wet sheet masks, which is great because you feel like you've got plenty of product on your skin. I used the excess in the packet on my arms and legs. After having the mask on about 15-20 minutes I removed the mask and let the product soak in on its own. My skin felt hydrated and had a nice glow to it. The next morning my skin still felt reasonable hydrated.
I would think like all masks you've got to use them a couple of times a week, ongoing to see any differences in skin tone and lines/wrinkles, so as a one off it felt great and gave my skin a boost of hydration - but it wasn't a stand out from the other brands
This was a perfectly acceptable mask. I received this as part of my BBBE and was excited to try it as I love sheet masks.
The packaging was easy to open and the mask was easy to unfold and place on my face. The gold paper the outside of the mask makes it really clear which side to apply.
I sat in the bath, leaving the mask on for the recommended 20 minutes. However I found the mask moved quite a bit and eventually I started getting serum in my eye which was irritating.
Removing the mask my skin felt well moisturised and soft. It looked nourished and had a slight glow, but that's about all the results I noticed.
I find the claim that using one mask for 20 minutes will minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles a bit outrageous.
Overall I had a perfectly OK experience but I wouldn't bother purchasing again.
