Lush Rose Jam Bubbleroon Review

Im not a rose fan (unless it's the chocolates or flowers) most rose scents smell so fake and nothing like roses, so when I very first tried the Rose Jam shower gel I fell in love it is the perfect rose scent and oh so sweet. But the delicious shower gel is a Christmas limited edition so when I saw this bubbleroon I had everything crossed it would smell exactly like the shower gel. And lucky for me it does!!!

This bright reddy pink bubbleroon looks like a yoyo or macaroon style biscuit. With 2 sides and cream smooshed between them to stick them together with one side looking like a rose.

Once I take it out of the bag I can instantly smell that familiar, gorgeous rose jam scent. I start running the bath and crumble it under the running water and watch on as the water turns a slight pink and small mountains or bubbles form. You could easily break it in half and get 2 baths from one bubbleroon but I love this scent so much I use the whole thing.

I hop in the bath and I am surrounded by that sweet rosy scent it is heaven it's not as strong as I would like but it's still good enough. Sometimes when I want a really rosy treat I add the Rose queen bath bomb as well.

Once I hop out and dry my skin I get the faintest hint of the scent on my skin. It's nice just wished it was just slightly more. But then I love the string scents. I will definitely buy this again it is one of my favourite Lush scents, I can't get enough of it!

Roses are red... or pink in this case I bought these online (yes these, plural) as part of a gift for a wonderful friend and a back up in case one arrived damaged (it didn't). My friend loves the Rose Jam scent and baths so it was a real win-win deal. And the Rose detail on top is perfectly girly in the best way.

Sooo, she loved the beautiful scent of sweet rose permeating through the wrapping paper... talk about a clue as to what was in there. Unfortunately when she used hers she held the whole thing under the tap (as she had seen me do with other bubble bars)... and it all washed into her bath... with a whole lotta bubbles to follow. So assuming these are not single serve bars (personal preference there) I broke the back part off my one (because who would want to destroy the perfect rose on the top of it) and then broke that in half. I could only imagine a massive bubble mountain resulting from using a whole one as I had more than ample bubbles with the amount I used. The scent was breathtakingly beautiful of sweet roses and it lingered on the skin well after drying off.

Now I am not normally a floral scent kind of person but I do like Rose Jam and this is the perfect alternative product to the wonderful shower gel.

It only gets low marks as I wouldn't repurchase it, as the bubble bars and bath bombs have won my heart over and this bubbleroon left me feeling pretty meh!

Pretty dark rose pink pressed bubble bar product makes up the macaroon inspired shape, squished together with moisturing essential oils infused "cream" centre which by the time I used it was more like the bubble bar consistency and not creamy at all. Whilst running the bath, crumble under the water to create a mass of foamy bubbles. The pink dyes the water under the bubbles red and the room is heavily perfumed with a heady musk of roses.

However this all sounds good but as soon as I parked my butt into the bath, the bubbles were no more and the rose scent diminished quickly after so the only feature left was the pink water, which turned out to be a little too overpowering for my bath as it left a dye mark which was a little stubborn to remove, but it did yield in the end. I did notice if left my skin moisturized which must of been the oils infused in the centre part but nothing that normal body wash doesn't offer.

Nothing special for me, if you like the subtle understated just relax in a bath of yummy coloured water than you will like this, for me I like my bath time to be fun time with all the bells and whistles that you normally get from a bubble bar or bomb.

I have smelt rose before this smells like your common rose fragrance not like that old fashioned very nice scent which seems not as available like the pink colour and I put mine in my underwear drawer and the oil soaked through the paper which is a good thing i guess as that suggests it has a generous amount of moisturizing agents and essential oils in the product. After a while the product began to crumble and break but this was I think because I did not put it in the bath it now has lost alot of its smell but still worth a use in the tub. It turned the water pink and my skin seemed to have a sort of nice feel afterwards but nothing too luxurious the design is cute and can easily be broken in half so you can save the other half at 8.50 it is not bad considering it is lush branded. It would be interesting to try a different one. I am not sure it would be that good for sensitive skin though.

Rose Jam.......what more could I want? Rose Jam is my happy place and my fave scent of all time when it comes to shower products. Every July and December I have to stock up on at least 4 litres of it to last or my heart becomes sad. Well when I found that there was a Rose Jam bubbleroon, I HAD to have it in my life, because Rose Jam!!!!

The bubbleroon is very much how I imagined it would be. It is in the shape of a macaroon hence the play on the name bubbleroon. It smells beyond amazing but then everything Rose Jam does to me. It smells of sweet roses. Almost like a sweet fruity floral scent if that makes sense. It is a dusky rose colour and just plum beautiful.

When it is mixed with the hot water it quickly starts releasing its silky and creamy flubbles in to the tub turning the water a pinky colour filled with sparkle. The heavenly smell fills the room and envelops the senses giving you almost a serene feeling. The feel on the skin is silky smooth. The bubbles last the entire 30 minute bath that I have which is impressive. Most bubble bars fade in to nothing 10-15 mins in to the bath.

My skin is left soft, smelling of sweet roses and is thoroughly moisturised. I would buy this again and again it's just such a pampering experience. If you love Rose Jam as much as I do, please try this!

I adore the Rose Jam Shower gel and when I was last in the Lush store I made the mistake of mentioning that. The incredibly helpful lady guided me through the store pointing out this in particular. I adore the customer service in Lush, they are always so helpful but not pushy, and they always know their stuff.

Packaging as usual the nice paper that is recyclable. Not too much.

I haven't had too much luck with bubbles and Lush products but I crumbled this under the water as it was going into the bath and for once actually got some bubbles. The lady in the shop said that you could use half at a time. But I kinda don't mind just using the whole thing. If you are going to be decadent you might as well go all out. Great bubbles and a fantastic scent, exactly like the shower gel. Rose like but not in a granny way. The bath left my skin feeling nice and soft ... But I never know if that is just the usual bath feeling.

So in the "would I use it again" section I have put a 5/5. I know that these are reasonably expensive but I adore the scent and as a treat I think these are awesome.

I bought this bubble bar ages and ages ago when the man and I weren't poor home owners and could afford nice things. He's not a fan of Lush so while he waited outside I went in and picked up this, among other things.

The delightful pink bubble 'biscuits' are surprisingly large, and you could easily get 4 baths out of this. The coloring is gorgeous and you know it's going to be a florally sweet girly smell.

I crumbled a whole half under the running tap and the bubbles came out hard and fast and colored the water a baby pink, and the bubbles spread out. They lasted quite a while in the tub, longer than I was expecting.

This was a really nice bubble bar, and paired with other Rose Jam scented things I'm in pure rosy heaven. I would definitely repurchase!

This cute pink bubbleroon looks exactly like a raspberry macaroon with a soft icing in the centre!

I bought it with other lush products on-line from the company.

It has a gorgeous smell, very rose-like and delicious! It is quite subtle though, and didn’t get any stronger when it went into the water. I use half of one for each bath. It crumbles slowly, so I tend to crush it under the water. It turns the water light pink, and makes it soft and smooth.

My skin feels lovely after a soak in rose jam bubbleroon, and the scent lingers on my skin for quite a while afterwards. It makes my skin feel clean and soft.

The bathroom retains the gorgeous scent for a little while after wards.

I love this bubbleroon and will certainly repurchase.

Lush's Rose Jam Bubbleroon is Lush's rose version of a raspberry macaron in looks. It is pink/red and looks almost edible. On the top is an open rose pattern looks like it has been pressed in. It reminds me a little of something that is embossed.

The scent is surprise surprise ... rose. Though I wouldn't be able to tell it was specifically Turkish roses.

In the bath, the bubbleroon creates a nice soft. bubbly pinkish bath. The scent both in and out of the bath wasn't particularly strong, but as I'm not a huge rose fan, I personally didn't mind that. As with all the bubbleroons you can easily divide it into 2 if you wish.

It felt like a nice ladylike bubbleroon. The kind of gift I would buy a female family member if it weren't for the fact it was quite crumbly which made it look a little less attractive.

A pretty looking sweet moral that to me mimacs a macaroon with glitter speckled thru it to em it smells like raspberry jam it scent gives my room a lovely fragrance & it's not an old lady rose scent it's a acceptable rose scent just like raspberry jam like I said.

I used this over time with more then 2 baths & crumbled under the running water omin doing so bubbles come out soooo much so that I begin to wonder how such a small amount could produce so much I delve in the ambience of a lit candle the scented bubble bath that relaxes my body & covers my skin giving it a speckled sparkled look with a creamy soft feel to touch.
