If there's one beauty problem I can't stand (after pimples) it would be that hot tight feeling you get when you're skin's not moisturised enough. I tend to get it during winter, or when I've got a temperature. It was the latter that has prompted me to finally right this review, as I haven't had any need to use this product during summer as my skin tends towards 'normal' during the warmer months.
Air Repair's Complexion Quenching Facial Mist comes in a simple white bottle with black wording. It's not particularly pretty, nor stylish. But I loved the idea of a face quencher, especially one that contains so many goodies - like calendula, arnica, green/black tea, lavender, chamomile etc. It sounded like a tonic for the skin, and you know, it smells like one - all lovely and herby, and a touch sweet too. (Yeah, I know I won't win any awards for scent description...)
I've not used it as a toner, as I'm tonered up the ying yang, but during winter, and more recently whilst battling a head cold virussy thing, I've used it as a moisturisation boost during the day. It's a simple pump mechanism, so I just lift, shut eyes, push the pump and move the bottle around until I feel adequately squirted upon.
I quickly notice a difference, my skin feels cooler and less stretched. It's not the fanciest looking product out there, but it does make your skin feel refreshed after use. The only thing that stops me from loving it, is that it does dry a little tacky, not terribly so, but enough that I find myself patting my skin to rub it in a little. No big deal on a light makeup day, but on a full face it's not ideal.
I happened upon this product in a OnceIt (I think) sale, and got it for around $10. Definitely worth it at this price, but to be honest I'd struggle to pay the full $25.
