The Olay Ultimate Eye Cream turned up in my bathroom on a day that had involved a lot of crying, so the need to restore my poor under eye bag and dark sag was high. The packaging is very Olay, with all the superlatives of what the product may do, ingredients, showcasing the pottle. I note here the use of excess plastic to hold the pottle in place and suggest they look at cardboard alternatives. The eye cream pottle is a glass 15ml, showing the beige cream inside, directions on the back. The cream itself has a beauty feel, very silky, glides on easily, and leaves a velvety feeling once absorbed with a light, unobtrusive scent. The skin instantly felt refreshed, like a soothing balm. I applied this morning and night every day for 10 days, and after a few days I almost longed for the feeling the cream gave my eyes. The tear-induced bags weren't even noticable, the dark circles didn't seem as deep. Having tried various eye creams over the years, this is the first one I feel I'll continue to keep using, as I loved the texture, had no reactions, and I actually felt there was a noticable difference especially given the tear-pressure they were under.

Tips: A little goes a long way. Also a lovely cream to soothe under the nose when you're using a lot of tissues.
I am reviewing this eye cream as part of a BR trial. I love how fancy the packaging was for this product. The glass pot is nice and solid, though I prefer my eye products to come in a tube to reduce contamination. The cream itself feels rich and moisturising yet spreads very easily and doesn't feel greasy at all, in fact it 'sets' within a few seconds. There is a faint scent which fades quickly. The product does help lighten the area around my eyes immediately which is part of its 'concealer' effect but this doesn't actually cause any longer term effects, at least none that I've seen after using it for 2 weeks. However, I love the feel of this product and how moisturising it is. This is the best eye cream I've used so far so I think I will re-purchase after I finish the current pot. $48.99 for Olay is very dear but for the quality and since a little goes a long way, I think this is definitely worth the price.
Tips: Gently massage a little eye cream around the eye area twice daily.
So- I didnt hate this, but it wasn't lifechanging...
The colour was quite fleshy, looked like I was putting on foundation, I looked in the mirror to see if it was coloured on my face, but it wasnt, disappeared into the skin like any other cream.
It was just eye cream, like I say nothing life changing for me. depending on the price point I would potentially purchase it again if it was on the lower end of the scale or on sale I unfortunately didnt notice my under eye circles disappearing, but I was unwell during the time of using it, so it could be more about other factors that even the best eye cream made of unicorn sprinkles couldnt fix haha.
It smelt quite nice and wasnt greasy, i will continue using it until its finished.
Tips: Always use your ring finger! So its impossible to mash it into your eye causing damage to that delicate skin!!
When you get to certain age wrinkles around your eyes put you on a path of trying to find that magic product that will remove them. Although Olay eyes didn’t turn back the clock 20 years I love this product. It has a creamy texture that is easy to apply & blends with my nature skin tone so I can use even if I don’t use concealer or foundation. Although I don’t have large dark circles, or a lot of puffiness under my eyes it did make a difference. After using for over three weeks every day the one day I didn’t I got comments about how tired I looked. My wrinkles do seems to be less and those that I still have are less noticeable. I think the product is great value for money. So will I continue to use, yes definitely, will I buy another jar, yes before this one runs out. Does it magically erase wrinkles, not quiet but it’s pretty close.
Tips: Warm Olay eyes on the tips of fingers before applying, although this product goes on easily it is nicer to have the product warmed up before application.
From the moment I spied the pale pink cream I fell in love. Not only was it a delicate pink ,the cream was equally as delicate on my eyes. I was a bit fearful to use it as in the past I found eye creams to be heavy and produce milia on my skin but I have used this morning and night with no adverse effects. Its too soon to say its made a dramatic difference but I have certainly noticed my eye area is plumper with lines not so deeply etched. I will continue to buy this cream.
Tips: Dab on ever so gently to not stretch the delicate eye skin. Keep to the bit just under the brow and just above the eye socket below the eye.
This is kind of a tough item for me to review as it's the dryest eye cream I have ever used but it does instantly make dark circles look a bit better.
It has seemed to make my under eye area smoother but when I put concealer over top of it it's just too dry so I have to use a moisturizer overtop of the eye cream.
It has no fragrance and I'm not even half way through the pottle after using it day and night for 3 weeks but for the price tag I would expect more dramatic results.
I've been really impressed with this product! I've never really been one to use an eye cream, but I'm a convert after using the Ultimate Eye Cream morning and night for a week so far. The dark circles under my eyes have lightened considerably, and the skin looks, and feels, smooth and soft. I also feel as though my eyelids, which are quite hooded, have tightened up slightly (enough to be visually noticeable). I would recommend this to anybody.
I have been using Olay Eyes for two weeks, and I am amazed on how it reduce the puffiness of my eyes in the morning, now I can go to work everyday with confidence. I am very satisfied with the product, and I will definitely use it again in the future.
Tips: Take a small amount of Olay Eyes, tap it gently underneath the eyes, and the lid. Do it twice a day, morning and night, and you will notice the difference.
Olay ultimate eye cream:
I usually don’t have eye cream in my normal skin care routine, but have been thinking about whether I need to add it, as I have been seeing some dark circles and bags appear more regularly! I have under eye bags and some dark circles. I haven’t used many eye creams in the past, only one or two so don’t have a lot to compare this with. To start, I didn’t particularly like the packaging personally- the product is a wee jar that’s clear on the bottom and a mirrored silver look for the lid and it’s inside a see-through box with the same mirrored silver backing inside. I found it hard to read the writing on the back- due to the clear box and mirrored silver combo, and personally felt that they clashed and I didn’t like the reflective-ness of the silver stuff. The packaging of the actual product was a bit better- the bottom looks like glass but doesn’t have the weight of it so feels a bit cheap. The lid is the same mirrored silver as the box which I didn’t like, as I felt it looked cheap as well. The actual product is the colour of a concealer, to counteract the dark circles. I didn’t particularly find that this concealed much of my under eye circles, although it did brighten a bit which I like. The consistency was good- a bit thicker than the other eye creams I have used but spread really easily. I don’t have any wrinkles (yet haha) so can’t comment on that effect. There was no particular smell, kind of neutral and just smelt like a cream with a subtle scent, which I didn’t mind too much. Overall, for an eye cream I thought this was average. Over the weeks that I’ve trialled this, i don’t think I have seen much change in the appearance of my under eye circles or bags. However I did like the brightening effect of my under eyes. I don’t think I would repurchase this, although I haven’t tried many eye creams to compare to!
I have never sed eye cream before primarily because I felt that the aging process will happen regardless what creams I put on my face. However I feel I’m now a convert, this product was amazing it brightened my under eye circles after the first application. I feel this product made a big difference to very tired face. It was hydrating and really did help colour correct my dark circles. Can’t rave about this product more!!!
Tips: Small bit goes along way, use sparingly
